Legendary actress Lee Young Ae made her comeback for the first time in ten years through a dramatic CF. The actress, who impressed viewers and won multiple awards with her role in the hit drama ‘Dae Jang Geum‘, surprised staff members when she showed on set to film KT‘s Olleh smart phone CF on October 22nd.

The actress had made a complete transformation from her traditional & elegant image. She looked mysterious and charismatic, and it was hard to believe she had just given birth to twins less than a year ago.

The trailer for the CF was released last week, and KT Olleh’s full-length advertisements were released on October 29th, in which the mother of two showcased her goddess-like beauty. She asserted her confidence with provocative lines such as, “I enjoy when someone can accomodate my mood, don’t you?”, and “Don’t make it complicated; just enjoy it.” Her fresh image transformation into a femme fatale was almost shocking for fans that have become accustomed to her pure and innocent image in ‘Dae Jang Geum’.

A representative from KT Olleh’s advertising department remarked, “Ten years ago, Lee Young Ae stirred the hearts of viewers as a pure character in the biggest hit drama of the times. But now with the ‘Olleh Smart Home Pad’ commercial this year, viewers can look forward to a much more mature and elegant Lee Young Ae.”

Emerging as the queen of first generation Hallyu wave with her last TV drama ‘Dae Jang Geum’, Lee Young Ae gained sensational popularity overseas, particularly in China, Japan, Taiwan, South East Asia and the Middle East. Other than taking a role in the movie ‘Sympathy for a Lady’s Vengeance‘, directed by Park Chan Wook in 2005, she has not made any appearances on the small screens. She suddenly married in 2009 and gave birth to her twins.

The fame she earned filming ‘Dae Jang Geum’ remains un-subdued, as the drama airs at a golden hour in the Middle East, including Jordan. Fans worldwide have continued to show their interest and have anticipated for her to make a return as an actress.

Lee Young Ae’s charm will continue to exceed fans’ expectations, and she will sure not disappoint in this drama-like CF.

This is her first TV appearance since she got married in 2009 and gave birth to twins eight months ago. To reflect these changes in her life, Lee Young Ae stepped away from her youthful, innocent image from ‘Dae Jang Geum’ and became a femme fatale who seems to thrive off adventure. The effect is dazzling, as the actress looks both sleek and mature.

“Lee Young Ae entranced audiences 10 years ago with her pure and innocent femininity,” said Olleh’s advertising manager. “This time, viewers can look forward to a smart and sexy woman who’s matured over the past ten years.”
