AA will be wrapping up their debut promotions this week and will go into a brief hiatus before they gear up for their next round!
The boys plan on making their comeback in February with an upgraded image. It’s been a long promotional cycle for AA, who debuted in October with “Because I’m Crazy” and went on to perform remix versions for year-end shows. The boys received much attention for their professional stage manners and activism with charities.
Until their next comeback, they plan on focusing on individual activities, as they have been receiving offers from variety shows and dramas.
A representative stated on January 3rd, “They’ll be doing individual activities after concluding promotions for their ‘Because I’m Crazy’ debut. They’ll also be preparing for their mini-album comeback in February.”
22 December:
On December 17th, the boys braved -10°C weather to help promote donations to children with rare or incurable diseases. Not only did they make donations themselves, but they also sang carols and put on performances in the middle of the street to attract attention to the cause.
Passerbys commented, “My heart was warmed by the five angels,” “It was moving to watch them continue to perform even when their hands and noses were red with the cold,” and “Very respectful of them.”
AA stated, “We, too, went through many hardships that were overcome with our passion and desire to become singers. We are still walking towards our bigger dreams, and we hope to inspire those who are in difficult situations to see us and realize that anything can be accomplished. We will continue to participate in such acts to help spread the love to our neighbors.”
2 December:
Rookie group AA has announced that they will be releasing a mini-album in January. They have reportedly collected 50 songs for review, and are in the process of carefully hand-selecting the track that will make their way onto the new album. The boys are also reportedly working on a song with famous Japanese producer, Daishi Dance.
An AA representative informed OSEN during a phone interview December 2nd, “The members will be showing their fans a completely different side of them with this new mini-album. They are diligently going through each of the fifty songs.”
AA will release the mini-album in Korea and hold a fan meeting shortly thereafter. Afterwards, the members will begin to prepare for their official Japanese debut. The members are reportedly working out the final details on a contract with a major Japanese music label.
Daishi Dance who is currently working with the boys remarked, “AA is different from other boy groups. They have their own unique style and their music is also popular. Their addictive and intense, masculine beats paired with their sexy choreography will be enough to capture the public,” expressing high expectations for the group.
AA is currently promoting their debut song, “Because I’m Crazy“.
1 Decmber:
The AA members recently shared the photo above via their official me2day page and wrote, “AA along with our company representative came to the sauna. The next time we meet, we will be squeaky clean. We love you guys“.
In the photo, Aoora, Woosang, and Joowon are wearing sauna bathrobes and posed for the camera with no stage makeup. Each member donned an eye-catching facial expression that pleased their fans everywhere.
Netizens who saw the photos responded with comments such as, “They look down-to earth and approachable!”, and “Sexy“.
Additionally, the AA members recently released a sketch video featuring the background music of ‘CALL‘, the 3rd track from their debut single via their official fan cafe.
21 November:
Along with the photo, the idol tweeted, “Thank you for all the mentions today as well. Let’s start a happy week. Aja aja“.
The picture has all members present including Woosang, Kimchi, Aoora, Juwon, and Hoik. Based on the prominently displayed and well-stacked presents, you can see how well the boys cherish their fan gifts. The boys teased fans with a cute pajama photo with their hands and feet raised high.
Fans commented, “I can see the close friendship“, ”Those pajamas look so adorable“, and “AA fighting!“.
20 November:On November 19th, rookie group AA thanked fans by sharing a new photo through their me2day.
They wrote, “Thank you so much for today as well. Despite the extremely cold weather, our loving fans came to support us. We love you guys so much. Please be careful of getting a cold.”
Members Woosang and Aoora were referring to the their latest stage on ’Music Bank‘, where they performed their debut song, “So Crazy“.
Netizens commented, “Woosang looks like a statue“, “Those eyes….“, and ”It’s nice to see the friendship between you guys.”

Rookie idol group AA have finally released their MV for “Because I’m Crazy“!
The group — comprised of members Aoora, Kimchi, Woosang, Joowoon, and Ho-Ik — have already drummed up a lot of interest thanks to their debut performance with labelmate Ha Ji Won at the ’2011 K-Pop Super Concert’ a few days ago, and now they’re ready to step out and impress on their own.

New rookie boy group “AA“ has made their debut with their new EP, ‘Because I’m Crazy‘.
The group is under Wellmade STAR M and contains 5 members: Aoora, Woosang, Kimchi, Joowoon, and Ho-ik. The group is a bit different from other rookie groups because they’re average age is 22. The number 22 is somewhat significant to their name if you make 22 with your fingers (holding up 2 fingers on each hand), and flip them upside down, it becomes AA (Double A). Additionally, each of the group members are also between the heights of 5’11″ to 6’1″.
AA will hold their official debut stage through KBS‘s ‘Music Bank’ on November 4th, in the mean time check out their debut EP below and remember to support by purchasing the music.

On October 28th, the boys took their first step as singers. AA performed for the first time in front of over 20,000 revelers catching performances by the latest K-Pop stars. The boys were joined by labelmate senior and actress Ha Ji Won, who performed a sexy and powerful wave right alongside the rookies.
AA performed their self-produced debut track, “It’s Because I’m Crazy“. With a cuter choreography that showed off their diverse charms, they also performed a track off of their upcoming re-packaged album, “Okay About It“. More than anything, they impressed the crowd with their stable live performance skills.
In a subsequent interview, the boys stated, “We were really nervous about our first stage, but Ha Ji Won’s support and our past rehearsals really helped a lot. We’ll take in the advice given to us by seniors like Ha Ji Won and Lee Jong Suk and continue to work hard.”
AA will be debuting on the November 4th episode of KBS‘s ‘Music Bank‘.

Over the past couple of days, we’ve been introducing the five members of AA, a rookie idol group who have yet to make their debut. The boys finally delivered their first performance at the ‘2011 K-Pop Super Concert‘, where they held a joint stage with labelmate Ha Ji Won.
The boys sat down for a short interview with OSEN after the concert and expressed their thoughts about their first performance.
They stated, “Although we were nervous about our first ever performance, we felt comforted by our sunbae, Ha Ji Won, going up on stage with us… Ha Ji Won sunbae told us to give it our all for our performance with her, and it gave us courage.” They continued, “We do have some regrets about our first performance, but we didn’t make any mistakes, so we are satisfied overall. Since we have a lot more opportunities to show everyone [our talents], we will do our best to put on a perfect performance.”
Although it was their first performance, AA put on a powerful show that made the audience go wild. They haven’t made their official debut yet, but they’re already receiving love calls from Japan thanks to their ability to produce their own songs, choreography, and wardrobe style.
The boys showed confidence and charisma as they performed their debut song, ‘Because I’m Crazy’ — a combination that’s rare for a rookie group.
Member Aoora stated, “We are different from other rookie groups in that our average age is higher at 22. The age of 22, to us, signifies our will to show everyone our continually growing image that is always full of energy. Also, if you make 22 with your fingers (holding up 2 fingers on each hand), and flip them upside down, it becomes our name, AA (‘Double A’).”
AA will hold their official debut stage through KBS‘s ‘Music Bank’ on November 4th. Leader Woosangcommented, “We will become a group that works hard, never changing despite whatever our situation may be. Please anticipate the road ahead of us.”
