5 member South Korean boy band The Boss (DGNA) is set to release their 5th Japanese single “Jumping” on March 28th, 2012. Ahead of this release, the full MV for the upcoming single was revealed.
The Boss achieved some success in Japan with their previous release “Love Days“, which ranked 7th on the Oricon Chart. They hope to build upon this with this upcoming release. Their image has also transformed quite a bit as they seem to have taken a bit of a punk look mixed with biker concept for this round of promotions.

After wrapping up promotions in Korea for “Lady“, The Boss flew back to Japan to prepare for their new Japanese single “Love Days”.
The PV for the track was released earlier, and fans discovered that it’s the perfect song for the upcoming winter holidays, thanks to its bright and cheerful melody. The music video shows the boys getting ready for Christmas, as they go grocery shopping and put up decorations around the house.

On November 1st, The Boss shared a making-of video from the set of their “Lady” album jacket shoot.
In the video, Hyunmin cracks his voice while trying to sing, but defends himself hotly by saying he practiced a lot and so his voice was practically gone. Later, he talks about his admiration for Im Jae Bum because they both have husky voices. “I seriously cried (hearing him sing). I thought, ‘wow this kind of voice is so charming’,” he said.
At one point, leader Mika finds a hole in the ground and tells Jay that it belongs to a snake. “A snake is going to come out. During the day the snake isn’t very active, but at night they will slither out one by one”.

The Boss has shared a special live version of their latest track, “Lady“, through Open World Entertainment‘s official Youtube channel!
In the video, the members quickly introduce themselves and express their excitement on being able to promote in Korea once again after being in Japan for the past year. Surprisingly, the members also reveal that the live version was rearranged by none other than The Boss’ vocalist, Hyunmin. Lastly, The Boss asks fans to continue their support for their new album, before blowing away their audience with an impressive a capella version of “Lady”.

Although their scheduled release date has yet to arrive, the jacket photo for The Boss (D-NA)’s new single has been revealed!
According to an agency representative, the jacket for The Boss’s single, ‘Lady‘, was released online on October 25th, a day before the single’s actual release.
The representative revealed, “Since it’s been one year since releasing an album in Korea, we’ve been [producing it] with special care, we are sad that the album jacket was leaked before the album’s release date. By identifying the leakage paths, we are planning to take legal action against the first ones responsible.”

Several days ago, The Boss released a short concept teaser for The Boss’ upcoming single “Lady“. Lucky fans are in for a treat as Open World Entertainment just released an extended version of Lady’s 2nd teaser.
In contrast to the 30 second version, this teaser has much more of the song’s lyrics. Rather than the aggressive, more urban vibe, this teaser displays the vocal poweress of the group. Plus there are new clips of not only the boys still in their sleek black suits, but also what most probably the ‘love interest’ for the mv.
“Lady” is scheduled to hit shelves on October 26th.
