4minute is finally ready to hit the stage after a year of hiatus, and anticipation is certainly surrounding their first stage to kick it all off.
The girls will be performing on Mnet‘s ‘M! Countdown‘ later today with their title track, “Volume Up“, along with a performance of their collaborative track with The Koxx, ”Dream Racer“. 4minute has always been known for their sexy stage outfits so many are wondering what the girls will be dressed in for their first “Volume Up” stage.
Cube Entertainment went ahead by sharing that the girls will be wearing see-through outfits with the sides provocatively cut to reveal their legs much like we’ve seen in their teaser photos and music video. Officials felt that the outfits gave a “goddess” like effect, and the cuts added to the sides will help bring out the choreography and drama of the performance.
Whatever they wear, we’re sure it’ll be all over the search portals once they hit the stage, so stay tuned for their comeback tonight!

11 April:
Girl group 4minute revealed that the snake in their new hit ‘Volume Up‘ music video represents the hateful comments from Netizens.
One associate from 4minute’s company, Cube Entertainment revealed, “‘Volume Up’ is about how girl groups face a lot of criticism and hateful comments online. The members having horrifying creatures such as the snake and the skull wrapped around themselves signifies that the girls despite receiving criticisms will ambitiously work hard to achieve success.”
The song expressed the worries of girl groups through its honest lyrics. ‘At first you, who couldn’t take your eyes off me, now you call me easy behind my back, I’m going crazy, now they say I’m done, now there’s no place for me“.
With 4minute’s transformation into sexy vampires and their fierce teaser images, fans have high expectations for the comeback of the sexy performance group.

30 September:
Korean girl group 4minute will be dropping their new Japanese single “Ready, Go” in December and it will also serve as the sound track for the new Japanese drama ‘This is the famous El Paraiso‘, scheduled to air its first episode on October 6th.
This is not the first time they have done an OST for a Japanese drama, and a representative from TV Tokyo remarked, “4minute sets themselves apart from the other girl groups with their fiercely charismatic concept, and by being able to take on even the most challenging genres of music.”
4minute’s “Ready, Go” contains elements of rock and powerful guitar harmonies, and the girls further energize the track with their dynamic vocals.
‘This is the famous El Paraiso’ was originally a comic about female pro-wrestlers, and it was recently made into a drama. Expectations are high for the new series, as the impressive cast consists of a diverse group of Japan’s hottest and most talented celebrities.
4minute has recorded OSTs for two other Japanese dramas in the past, one of which continued to be a steady seller, long after the drama had come to an end.
