2PM Show

23 September:

The upcoming 12th episode of SBS’s ‘2PM Show‘ will be the last of its series.
The ’2PM Show’ was a idol variety program with a unique twist, as it encouraged viewers to send in topics like ‘Who is the Cooking King’, ‘Relive Your Childhood School Days’, ‘Show Us Your Teamwork’, and much more.
During the series, the 2PM members weren’t afraid to let loose and show various sides to themselves. The 12th episode will include a test that will show their growth in their variety show skills.
The boys will take part in a segment called ‘Shadow Quiz’, where two members will have to work together to express an answer to a question with their shadows.
In another segment, the members will bring back an old variety program called ‘Tray Karaoke’, where if one member gets the lyrics to a song wrong, all the members will have to get hit with metal trays.

The final episode will air through SBS on September 24th. Stay tuned for updates on this last episode!

2PM‘s Junho was named the ‘master of body gags’ on a recent recording of SBS Plus‘s ‘2PM Show‘!
The boys were given various missions in order to help them become the ultimate ‘variety idols’. Junho, who’s known amongst fans as ‘Ambitious Junho’, amused everyone by taking the challenges seriously and trying his best for each one.
One of the games involved a ‘shadow quiz’, where the members would pair up and go behind a white screen to explain a key word with their silhouettes.
The members thought it’d be funny to enliven the set with body gags, and Junho even went as far as to add various sound effects to better explain his key word, which amused his fellow members greatly.
After seeing him come out drenched in sweat, the members couldn’t help but chuckle at his ambitious personality.

During a recent recording of the ’2PM Show’, the boys of 2PM re-enacted scenes from popular dramas and movies, like ‘Lovers in Paris‘ and ‘Friend‘.
A representative from SBS E!TV stated, “On the recent recording for the ’2PM Show’, the 2PM members tried to act like men with [wide hearts and minds] using various props, and had competitions amongst themselves.”
The members had to eat extremely spicy jjampong for one competition, and apparently it was so hot that they began to shed tears and get runny noses. In the end, they decided to use the jjampong as a prop, and act out various scenes from films and dramas.
Chansung and Junho went first and played the roles of the lovers in ‘Lovers in Paris’. Chansung parodied the famous lines by actor Park Shin Yang, and shouted, “This jjampong is my jjampong, why can’t you say it?” with Junho replying as Kim Jung Eun“How can I?”.
This episode of the ’2PM Show’ will be broadcast on September 17th at 11PM KST.

8 September:

2PM‘s Nichkhun, who melts girls’ hearts with his baby face, was revealed to have an intense competitive streak!  o
On the latest recording of ‘The 2PM Show‘, the members had an awards ceremony, where each member was granted a quirky title matching their personality.
Although Chansung is the maknae of the group, he’s also very strong, and so he received the “Universal Dol-soe Award”. Dol-soe, in Korea, refers to a worker who does whatever he’s told to do without questions. As for Junho, who shows strong confidence in whatever he does, the members gave him the “Galaxy Desire Award”. It showed that he always has the drive to do something. The rest of the members received unique awards as well.
When it came to Nichkhun, however, he received an award that didn’t match his appearance. He received the “Burning Competitiveness Award”. Suddenly, it seemed that his original nicknames, “Prince Nichkhun” and “Flower Boy”, no longer seemed to suit him.
The members explained that during the first episode of the show, Nichkhun showed intense concentration during the mini ping-pong game. In another case, the boys had to eat lemons for a game, and Nichkhun ate his sour piece in a heartbeat without showing a single wince of pain. He ended up winning that competition.
Additional details and stories will be revealed when the show airs on the 10th. Stay tuned to allkpopfor updates!

3 September:

The September 3rd episode of the ‘2PM show’ displayed the ‘unpublished X files‘ or video footage that didn’t make it on air due to time constraints on the previous episodes.
In one of the unaired footage segments, the boys played a game where the members had to sleigh down the snow mountain while holding a glass full of milk.
The members expressed their regret when the footage first didn’t make it on air stating, “We did our best during that episode, it was a lot of fun but unfortunately it was cut. Also when the other members were racing, at the bottom Junsu and Junho were doing their own thing. They were playing ‘Of course’ and having a rap battle, but that part didn’t air neither.  With this latest episode, it’s a great opportunity as we definitely wanted everyone to see those scenes”.

2PM responded, “The recording with the three Moon siblings was definitely the most tiring. We don’t have a lot of childcare experience so it was hard to read their thoughts.”

27 August:

On the August 27th episode of SBS E!TV’s ‘2PM Show‘, member Junho decided to use the show as an opportunity to publicize “Give It To Me“, a song on their 2nd full-length album, which he composed himself.
The boys played a game on the show to see how well they worked together as a team. All six of them needed to write down the exact same answers to the questions they were being asked. If even one person wrote down a different answer, they would all fail.
The members all tried to give each other hints on the answers based on their memories and things they experienced together. They were confident they would be able to succeed, but alas it was not an easy challenge.
When asked, “Which 2PM song do you guys feel most attached to?”, the members all looked at each other and carefully wrote down their answers, and one by one revealed them to one another.
The set exploded into a sea of laughter as Junho revealed his answer. He had written “Give It To Me” in big, confident letters. The members couldn’t stop laughing and asked him why he would try to publicize his own song on the show. But the ‘ambitious’ Junho disregarded their mockery and honestly told them that it was a song he had written, so obviously he feels most attached to that one.

This episode was in response to the fans who expressed their curiosity as to what the members did on days where they don’t have a busy, jam-packed schedule.
The members began eating snacks like they would on any average day but being the playful boys that they are, they decided to see who could eat the most snacks without using their hands.
They placed the snacks on their foreheads and using only their facial muscles, had to maneuver the chips into their mouths. Nichkhun decided to begin recording each member’s hilarious facial expressions, and the members could not stop laughing throughout.

16 June:
Popular boy group 2PM will star in a new variety program to go along with their upcoming comeback!

Starting in July, “2PM Show“ will broadcast on SBS’s E!TV cable channel with all six members, and it will mark the first time 2PM emcees a program with their name on it.
SBS E!TV’s PD Kim Yong Kyu expressed great anticipation for the show, as he stated, “The key point is that all of the members will be included in the show. 2PM is showing great enthusiasm for the program, especially because the show will require the members to fulfill missions given to them by the viewers.
“2PM Show” will heavily rely on social networking sites to communicate with fans and netizens alike. Currently, producers are utilizing the official “2PM Show”Twitter website to ask survey questions such as “Which member seems to have the least perseverance?”, “Who is most likely to be the best father in the future?”, “Who is most likely to get married first?“, and more.
PD Kim commented further by saying, “We will not only focus on 2PM’s younger fan base, but also on their growing 20-to-40 year old fan base as well. The program will concentrate on unlikely mission topics like ‘Be a father for a day’ to appeal to a larger audience. 2PM will distance themselves from their ‘beastly idol’ image and will even take on a cooking mission as well.
2PM previously starred in cable shows like “Wild Bunny” and “Idol Army Season 3” during their rookie years. However, after their rise in popularity, it is rare for all the 2PM members to appear on a single show together. As such, fans are showing fervent support for the show, especially because of the busy overseas and individual schedules the members had to endure until now.
Regarding 2PM’s busy schedule, PD Kim replied, “The members have shown an interest in having a show with their own name before. It is true that 2PM has a tight schedule, but the members have a strong desire to carry out the program, so I do not expect members to pull out midway through.
The members are hoping that their program will gain the same love and popularity that idol group SMAPmanaged to have with their program “SMAPxSMAP” in Japan.
The first recording for “2PM Show” will start on June 16th and the time slot is yet to be determined.
