On June 27th, comedian Son Hun Soo, who recently had his short film, ‘Tonki Is Still Alive‘, make it to the 10th “Mise-en-scene’s Short Film Festival“, held a conversation time with the audience members at the CGV Theaters in Yongsan.
Featuring Hong Garam, Choo Daeyeob, Lee Gook Joo, Jo Hae Wook, Lee Dae Eun, and Yang Hae Rim, the short film is about remembering old, forgotten heroes through one of the oldest hits,‘Dodgeball King Tonki‘. The film is noted for being a comedy-style documentary.
Standing before the audience as a director, not a comedian, Son said, “It feels different standing up here as a director. I began this movie under the intention of expressing freedom of imagination and combining it with comedy. I’m thankful that so many people were able to see what I’ve captured.”
The movie will continue running at the “Mise-en-scene’s Short Film Festival” through June 30th
