Vocal group BoM has announced that they’ll be performing weekly concerts at all-girls high schools across the nation from February to May.
The boys have been racking their brains trying to figure out how to best show appreciation for the support they’ve received for their mini-album, ‘Dear Feeling, Dear Heart’. In the end, they decided to launch on this tour to better connect with their fanbase.
The members will read personal stories from high school students posted on their official fanpage to help choose which schools to perform at.
BoM is currently active by appearing in various music programs and variety shows.
13 August:
Last month, vocal group BoM made their debut with their first single, “Without You“, and earned the attention of many for not only their impressive live skills, but their diverse experience and backgrounds.
The boys recently sat down for an interview with Newsen and revealed themselves to be “ambitious idols“. Leader Sechang (21) explained, “Our priority is for BoM to do well, but in the long run, we hope to do well in every aspect there is, which is why I think ‘ambitious idols’ fits us the best.”
Although they were a bit shy at first, their eyes began to sparkle and shine once the topic of ambition came up. Main vocalist Raewon (25) is known for having served in the army at the Blue House under the presidencies of the late Roh Moo Hyun and Lee Myung Bak.
He revealed, “I like old ballad styles. I’d love to put out a solo album one day singing ballad songs completely in my own style. I emulate senior Kim Yeon Woo.”
Maknae Yua (18), who has experience acting in KBS’s ‘Dream High‘, revealed his hopes of excelling in all areas of dancing, singing, and acting.
Rapper Tagoon (19) said, “I want to perform strong hip hop rap. I’d love to be able to work in a unit group with the hyungs in Block B. We all have something we want to do and have a lot of talents. We’re like an onion that still has something to show with each layer you peel off. Since we don’t have many members, listeners are able to really see the different charms in our parts.”
On being compared to ballad group 2AM, the leader concluded, “We’re similar in that we’re both vocal ballad groups, but they are still very much more talented than we are. As we are still rookies, we hope to stand on more stages, gain more experience, and hopefully improve with each new album. They’re seniors that we hope to learn from.”

Rapper Tagoon, who is best known as Mino in the world of underground music, formerly trained with Brand New Stardom’s Block B and has previously featured in several mixtapes including Block B Zico’s ‘ZICO on the Block‘ and rapper Hanhae’s ‘Eargasm‘.
“Without You” is a heartbreaking ballad about a man who suffers a hard time erasing the memories of his one true love. Check out the MV down below, featuring actress Park Eun Bin!

Leader Meng Sechang had previously received hospital treatment due to a slight collision on the 19th, so fans were glad to see that he was back and looking as healthy as ever at the event.
The boys were able to witness their popularity thanks to the amount of fans who showed up.
The members said, “We were surprised to see that so many fans had come despite how we haven’t debuted yet. We’d like to thank everyone for coming and will work hard to repay the love of our fans.”
BoM will be debuting on Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown‘ with their first single, “Without You“, on July 28th.

BoM is comprised of members Raewon, Sechang, Tagoon, and Yua, and each boast a long history of experience. Raewon released two digital singles in 2010, while Sechang was a child actor, as well as a contestant of MBC’s ‘Birth of a Great Star‘. Rapper Tagoon (better known as Mino) was a formerBlock B trainee, and can be heard in several underground mixtapes (Zico, Hanhae).
Y2Y Contents Company said, “With news of their debut, fans began searching up various portal sites for information regarding the members. They’re regarded as one of the new rookies to keep an eye on by representatives. All four have great visuals and talent, so we hope you look forward to them.”
Sechang especially was praised on ‘Birth of a Great Star’ by legendary singer Lee Eun Mi, who had said, “You have a voice that will make women kneel to the floor.”
Their debut teaser also stars actress Park Eun Bin! Apparently, Sechang and Park Eun Bin were both child actors that appeared in the 2007 SBS drama, “Catch a Kangnam Mother“. Exactly four years later, they’ve met up once again through this music video. Park Eun Bin thus decided to help out a fellow friend’s debut by agreeing to appear in his group’s music video.
