Rookie female rock band Wind Hold Venus has landed a Japanese CF deal worth $100,000 USD!
According to representatives of their agency, the girls recently signed a contract with Mitsuya International for $100,000 USD, making them the models for clothing brand ‘Star Five‘.
In October, the girls became the first ever Korean band to be featured in Japan’s ‘Rolling Stone‘ magazines and attracted attention from fashion industry representatives after performing barefoot at the ‘Nagoya Collection‘.
CEO Kawamura of Mitsuya commented, “There are a lot of plans in store for Wind Hold Venus in Japan, and we plan on expanding their CF activities to include character endorsements, sun glasses, and other markets. They have a quality that differentiates them from other girl groups who focus primarily on dance, so we believe that they have an infinite amount of potential.”
Plus 9 Entertainment, the girls’ label, also stated, “We’re looking forward to expanding the girls’ careers in Japan through this CF contract.”

Rookie idol rock band ‘Wind Hold Venus‘, who’s been toted as the ‘female CNBLUE‘, has become the first female band to be invited to the ‘2011 Pyeongtaek Korean-American Peace Rock Festival‘.
Wind Hold Venus was the celebratory performance, a first in the rock festival’s history. The festival is notorious for its strict requirements in live performance skills so even just landing a slot in the concert’s line-up means they’ll be playing alongside the best of the best. Other performances included Boohwaland Super Kidd.
Wind Hold Venus debuted back on September 15th through Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown‘ and are currently charging full steam ahead on their first cycle of promotions.

New rookie group Wind Hold Venus has finally released their debut MV, “Call Me”!
Wind Hold Venus, who were also dubbed the “Female CNBLUE” before their debut, is a four-membered dance-based rock band consisting of Tamra (Vocal), Kim Soo Jung (Guitar), Hayoung (Bass), andYeo Wool (Drums) under the label Plus 9 Entertainment. All members received extensive training in music and acting leading up to their debut, and also have experience in promoting overseas.
Their title track, “Call Me”, is a refreshing dance-rock song that is complemented with the strong beat of the electric guitar. The bright and colorful melody makes you want to hop in a sports car and race away to the relaxing beach side.
With “Call Me” being composed and produced by bandmate Kim Soo Jung, their title song additionally flaunts the members’ potential in the singer-songwriting field.

A rookie group making their debut under Sony Music has drawn attention for their talent and similarity to popular boy band, CNBLUE.
Named “Wine Hall Venus”, the female quartet is comprised of members Tamra (main vocal), Kim Soo Jung (guitar), Hayoung (bass), and Yoeul (drummer).
With over four years of preparation under their belts, Wine Hall Venus possesses a collection of strong talents including acting, speaking English, and even horseback riding.
Although there are several successful male bands on the market – such as F.T. Island and YB Band – this is the first time the concept has been applied to females.
White Hall Venus will release their first album on June 28th, with promotion activities starting in early July.
