Playing the role of ‘Ban Haewon’, one of the men involved in a love triangle with a naive girl straight from the countryside, Hyungshik made a successful debut that captivated the audience. On July 20th, he was met with a surprise visit from ZE:A, who all came to support their fellow member’s debut.
Hyungshik said, “I was more nervous the second day rather than the first, but all of my group members came to see me. More than anything, I was able to act with a comfortable heart thanks to the support I received from my seniors, who had all helped in improving myself.”
He continued, “The musical stage is very charming in that I’m able to converse and move the audience through singing and acting. The more I stand on stage, the more I want to do better, which inevitably makes me feel disappointment whenever I get off stage. I still have to work even harder.”
“Temptation of Wolves” will play until October 30th.

On July 7th, their manager uploaded a photo of Hyungshik’s ankle injury from the set of their “Watch Out!” MV filming. He wrote, “The hospital said that he should take a break for now, but Hyungshik is determined to continue. A lot of us are worried for him. Maybe it’s because their comeback is coming up, but he’s ignoring the concerns of the staff and is working harder than ever. I hope that we will no longer have bad news and that this string of bad luck will bring good results.”
Hyungshik revealed that he had experienced pain in his ankle, but decided to relieve it by wrapping a tight bandage around his ankle for now. Not only is he preparing for ZE:A’s comeback, but he must also attend to preparations for his musical, “The Wolf’s Temptation“, which begins on July 19th.

About a week ago, ZE:A member, Hyungshik had fallen overboard from a yacht during a photoshoot, only to be saved by fellow member, Dongjun and his manager. Well, the video footage of this incident was recently revealed to the public.
They filmed a yacht scene on June 22nd, but during filming, Hyungshik accidentally fell over the railing. His manager and fellow member Dongjun rescued him successfully once in the water. Hyungshik visited the hospital and thankfully he didn’t suffer any major injuries.

The idol group recently visited Jeju Island to shoot the jacket cover for their new album.
They filmed a yacht scene on June 22nd, but during filming, Hyungshik accidentally fell over the railing. His manager and fellow member Dongjun dived into the ocean and rescued him successfully.
A representative of Star Empire stated, “While Hyungshik was filming on a yacht for the jacket cover, he fell into the ocean. Everyone was shocked, but thankfully the accident wasn’t that big. Hyungshik is fine now, although he was in a serious condition at the time. Hyungshik himself said that he was okay, but because he experienced a shock [from the accident], he ended the schedule early and came back to Seoul last night. He will visit the hospital after monitoring his condition.”
ZE:A is scheduled to have a comeback next month.
