Backstage of last week’s MBC’s ‘Music Core‘, 2PM and 8eight performed a song swap by singing each other’s songs!

A video of the performance was recently uploaded onto YouTube and has been garnering immense popularity from fans of both groups.

Instead of the sad and emotional concept they have on stage, they had fun with 2PM’s song. Since the two songs contrast greatly in mood, fans were delighted to see 8eight go for a more upbeat style with “Hands Up” and 2PM deliver a smooth cover of “Close That Lip“. Joohee especially seemed very happy to see the boys of 2PM and jammed it out with them.

The two groups later exchanged CDs and yelled out “Fighting!” as a message of support. 

Netizens wrote, “It’s nice to see them cheering each other on”, “8eight has a little kid side!”, and “I hope both of them are successful!”

Following T-ara’s Jiyeon’s apology on Twitter yesterday, the producers of MBC’s ‘Music Core‘ made a formal apology post on their message board.

The post read:

“Hello, this is the production team for Show! Music Core.

We would like to apologize for disturbing viewers with an audio error during the live broadcast of Show! Music Core.  While F.T. Island was performing ‘Hello Hello’, the voice of our MC introducing the next performer went out live.  As it is a live broadcast, the MCs usually practice their lines during performances, and we believe that this was the case this time.

This is 100% the mistake of the producers, and we promise to work hard so that this mistake does not occur again.  We will make sure that we create a better show.

To all of the viewers that love Show! Music Core, we would like to once again apologize for the mistake.  We will work hard to become a better Music Core.

Through Twitter, T-ara’s Jiyeon apologized for her broadcast mistake during MBC’s ‘Music Core‘.

On June 25th, Jiyeon tweeted, “There was a sound mistake during Music Core, I’m really sorry.” She added, “The mic turned on while I was practicing my next lines. I will be more careful next time.”

Meanwhile, during the broadcast of ‘Music Core’, Jiyeon’s voice suddenly came on during FT Island’s goodbye stage – causing the broadcast accident.

The phrase, “You can’t forget this person when talking about Hallyu…” was heard, which happened to be the MC’s script to introduce the next singer, Kim Hyun Joong.

However, the production crew of ‘Music Core’ carried on without a word of apology during the show, upsetting the viewers. Thinking ahead, Jiyeon sent her message of apology before the production crew.

Netizens praised Jiyeon for apologizing, stating, “Your thought is deeper than the production crew” and“Everyone makes mistakes, but it’s only right to apologize.”

Boyfriend’s twin brothers, Youngmin and Kwangmin, have been chosen to be special MCs for MBC’s “Show! Music Core“!

Since SHINee’s Onew and Minho will be away in London to perform at the famous Abbey Road Studios on the 19th, the twins will be stepping in for the episode scheduled to broadcast on June 18th.

It’s an exceptional case for rookies who haven’t even been a month into their debut to receive such an opportunity, so representatives of the industry are definitely keeping an eye out for these guys.
