Seoul International Cartoon Animation Festival

Dal Shabet’s Subin is gaining a lot of interest recently thanks to her thoughtful act.

Dal Shabet attended the 15th Annual Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival (SICAF)on July 20th, wearing matching outfits for the event. The unity of the team was shown through their hue of their outfits, but Subin was the odd member out, so to speak, since she was the only girl wearing flats.

Towering over her group members at 5′ 8″ (173cm), her nickname became “giant baby”, as she’s the tallest girl idol among any girl group members. As such, Subin wore flats instead of kill hills so that she wouldn’t draw attention solely to herself when she stood with her groupmates.

It’s not the first time that Subin dumped her kill heels for flats – on May 31st, Dal Shabet attended the 24th International No Tobacco Day, where Subin was the only member out of the group wearing flats.

As the netizens observed Soobin’s thoughtfulness, they reacted, “I envy her figure and height”, “Superior height, despite the flats”, “How would you feel if you had the height to make kill heels unnecessary?”.

Earlier, we reported that girl group Dal Shabet were chosen to be the ambassadors for the upcoming 15th ‘Seoul International Cartoon Animation Festival‘ (or ‘SICAF‘). The girls were officially appointed on June 21st at Seoul’s Sejong Hotel in a simple ceremony.

As the event’s ambassadors, Dal Shabet will appear in video campaigns and at SICAF events from July 20th to 24th.

SICAF officials stated, “We felt that their bright and cheerful image went well with the SICAF event. We’re looking forward to Dal Shabet’s hard work for SICAF2011.”

The girls themselves commented, “We’re so excited to become the faces of ‘SICAF2011′, just like SICAF’s cute mascots Bummy and Ddeng Gochu. We’ll work hard to spread the awareness of the ‘SICAF2011′ event to lots of people!”

The girls received the official request from SICAF’s 2011 committee to become the event’s endorsement models; they will appear in video campaigns and at SICAF events from July 20th to 24th.
