Actress Kim Ah Joong, who recently came under fire for tax evasion, has opened up about the matter through her personal Twitter.

On October 2nd, the actress tweeted, “Life is not a novel story where everything is planned out beforehand, organized, and neatly constructed.”  This statement was taken from a famous novel byGong Ji Young called “Mackerel“.

Kim Ah Joong was investigated by the Korean Internal Revenue Service, and was penalized with a 6-digit fine for evading her taxes. The actress put a hold on all her activities, and has been relatively quiet. She made a tweet back in September apologizing to her fans, and this recent message was her first in a month.

Netizens expressed their joy as they commented, “I’m so happy to know that you’re alive! ^_^“, “You’ve returned! I’ve missed you so much T_T“, and “Don’t give up, fighting!”

After the alarming accident on the set of her new film, “Amazing“, Kim Ah Joong comforted her concerned fans by showing that she was okay through Twitter.

She wrote, “I’m all right… I was quite alarmed at the time, but right now I’m touched that everyone was worrying about me and supporting me… I’ll be strong to the end!”

She also uploaded some new pictures of herself as proof of her improved condition.

Fans responded with, “It’s good to see you looking healthy,” “What a relief, I was so worried about you,” and, “She’s a devoted actress who filmed despite injuries.”

Kim Ah Joong fell down the stairs while filming a chase scene on July 7th.

It’s being reported that on July 7th, actress Kim Ah Joong tumbled down the stairs and knocked herself unconscious while filming for her upcoming Chinese-American film, “Amazing“.

Kim Ah Joong was in the midst of shooting a scene at a hotel in Shanghai, where she was supposed to chase the male lead down a stairwell. Unfortunately, she sprained her ankle and fell forward, hitting her head against the banister on her way down. Because she was unable to regain consciousness, she was rushed to the emergency room of a local hospital.

CT and X-ray results fortunately showed that she didn’t sustain any injuries or damages, and she was eventually allowed to return to the film set to complete the rest of the shoot.

Representatives revealed, “There are some scratches on her knees and arms, but more than anything, she and the rest of her staff were highly shocked over the unexpected accident. Those around her suggested that she take a break, but she found out that her co-star, Eric Mabius, had to leave for the States in two days. She didn’t want to affect his schedule, so she returned to the film set instead.”

They continued, “The staff gave her a round of applause for her passion and determination. Mabius in particular was very touched with her considerate act.”
