Bang Yong Guk‘s boy group, one of the most anticipated rookie group debuts of 2012, has officially unveiled their name!

On December 19th, TS Entertainment announced that their boy group will be named ‘B.A.P.‘ (Best, Absolute, Perfect). They stated, “The group will be made up of six members. As you can see by Bang Yong Guk, Zelo, and Himchan, the rest of the members are just as talented.”

Bang Yong Guk is currently promoting with Zelo as a unit group while Himchan is hosting SBS MTV‘s ‘The Show‘.

Representatives continued, “B.A.P. is the most ambitious project to be out by TS Entertainment. We still have many more surprising projects left in store to unveil to the public.”

TS Entertainment has announced that they’ve signed a new actress to their label, Han Sooyeon.

Han Sooyeon studied Theater and Art at Sungkyunkwan University, and has played the female lead in rapper Bang Yong Gook‘s music video for “I Remember“.

In fact, she’s featured in the MVs of many artists who are now at the forefront of the Hallyu wave. Han Sooyeon made an appearance on Rain‘s first Japanese single “Sad Tango” in 2007, as well in the video for Wonder Girls‘ “Irony“. She was also in Rich‘s “Nothing to say except I love you“, and was called the ‘lucky goddess’, as Rich was a rookie who rose to fame after Han Sooyeon’s appearance in his MV.

TS Entertainment stated, “Han Sooyeon is a talented actress. We saw how passionate she was in Bang Yong Gook’s MV and decided we wanted to work with her. We want to support her and allow her to flourish in many different projects so that she will be able to improve her acting skills.”

TS Entertainment is home to stars like SECRET, Bang Yong Gook, Kim Himchan, Untouchable, and comedian Son Hunsoo. With the addition of Han Sooyeon, TS Entertainment will now become one of the few agencies to manage not only singers, but comedians and actresses as well.

Aside from acting in MVs, Han Sooyeon has taken up roles in projects like “Moby Dick” and “Loveholic“, and will be making an appearance on OCN‘s ‘Vampire Prosecutor‘.
