On September 14th, Ki Tae Young guested on SBS’s “Bae Ki Hwan, Choi Young Ah, and Jo Hyang Gi’s Good Morning“, and opened up about his newlywed life with Eugene.
The actor had previously expressed disappointment during the press conference for his new SBS drama, “Live With Pride“, because he had to rush straight into filming right after his honeymoon trip.
Ki Tae Young said, “Because Eugene is so busy and I’m busy, I honestly don’t know about the fun newlywed life…“. After hesitating for a second, he added, “I am enjoying a fun newlywed life but I still feel that there is something lacking“, drawing laughter from the audience for his honest confession.
When asked about future children, he said, “We’re aiming to have children in about three years. In the meantime, I think we should focus on our work and enjoy our newlywed life“.
Actor Ki Tae Young and S.E.S‘s Eugene met in October of 2009 after acting together in the MBC drama, “Creating Destiny“. The two then started dating and eventually tied the knot this past July.

On September 6th, Eugene wrote on her blog, “Selca parade. Our looks and expressions were so different despite the limited angle. Oppa became a 2-person selca professional before we knew it.”

A picture of Eugene and Ki Tae Young in Prague was recently shared online. The newlywed couple are currently on their honeymoon, and netizens can’t get over how great they look together.
The candid picture of the newlyweds was first uploaded through an online community. In the picture, the couple is seen naturally linking arms while walking down the street. Eugene and Ki Tae Young’s matching white shirts and black sunglasses made it obvious to many that they were indeed a couple.
Their natural and simple style, as well as their comfortable relationship with each other, gathered the envy of those who saw the picture.

He tweeted before they left for their Europe honeymoon on July 25th, “The day we left for our honeymoon. We’ll always be thankful for all the congratulations we received on our wedding.”
He added, “Thank you, everybody. We’ll be back soon“, and attached a picture of himself and Eugene dressed in sunglasses and couple tees.
Ki Tae Young also posted a selca of him and Eugene in their wedding outfits. “The wedding was like a dream. After I come back, I’ll share with my fans the song that I wrote and sang for my proposal to Eugene. It’s called ‘Oh! My genie‘.”

The two didn’t hesitate to kiss before their fans, which drew cheers of admiration for the brave new couple. At 1 PM KST, the two were wed by the church’s priest, with Eugene’s younger sibling and friends from Guam singing at the wedding, followed by a performance from Big Bang’s Taeyang, who sang a song that he had composed himself. The wedding was closed off to the public.
The two had previously alerted fans of their marriage by sharing their love on their fancafes. Ki Tae Young had written, “I’ve found someone that I’ve always dreamed of, someone who I can create a family with. A wise and realistic woman. A woman who’s wise and obedient to her husband, and a husband who’s caring and devoted to his wife. Someone I never imagined has come into my heart.”
Eugene meanwhile wrote fondly of her love for her husband-to-be, stating, “I’ve met someone that I want to spend the rest of my life with. He’s someone who can fill what I lack.”
The two began dating in January of 2010 after the conclusion of their MBC weekend drama, ‘Making a Lover‘. The two had actually attended the same church, and after a year and a half of dating, finally decided to tie the knot today. The couple will leave on the 25th for their honeymoon in Europe.

Taken at a studio in Kangnam, Seoul, the two were said to have posed affectionately for the camera quite naturally. Wedding specialist Yuna Kim revealed, “Like the actors they are, the two presented poses that looked as if they were from an art piece. Eugene wore a luxurious dress brought in from an overseas designer and showed off the elegant beauty of a bride.”
Another representative added, “This was a semi-photoshoot taken to decorate the wedding hall with. We will also be using the European scenery with another photoshoot while on their honey moon.”
The two will be traveling to Europe for their honeymoon after getting married on July 23rd at a church in Indukwon.
