“As the group’s maknae, I couldn’t comfortably join in with the others because of the age difference. Even when we went out to eat together, I felt a distance between me and the others.”
Feeling sad about those difficult times, she began to shed tears.
She said, “We were trainees during different periods so we hadn’t spent much time together. I always acted carefully, thinking that it would be awkward if I tried to become too close to them. Now I think that I should make the first move toward intimacy.”
In response to both Sulli and Krystal, Tiffany said that she wishes to take better care of her juniors, as many of them may be upset and going through hard times.

With recent reports of the cast of MBC’s “Ripley” being rejected from the variety program, “Come to Play“, netizens have been turning their attention to the reason why.
According to information revealed by a large majority of drama representatives, the “Ripley” cast - Kim Seung Woo, Kang Hye Jung, Lee Da Hae, Park Yoochun – were in discussion for a guest appearance on “Come to Play” later this month.
Unfortunately, producers of the show reportedly made a request to “Ripley” asking if it was possible to exclude Park Yoochun from the line-up and only have the remaining three cast members guest on the show. Eventually, the “Ripley” cast decided to let the entire thing go, as if it never happened.
Because of his ongoing lawsuit with SM Entertainment, Park Yoochun and his fellow JYJ members have been battling obstacles against the public broadcast networks for some time now, making many wonder whether this is the work of backdoor pressure once again.
One anonymous broadcast representative stated, “Park Yoochun’s ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal‘ was highly popular, but he was not able to make guest appearances on the same network variety shows. I feel that it’s the same within MBC; there seems to be conflicts between MBC’s drama and variety division.”

On May 2nd, singer Lee Seung Gi guested on MBC’s “Come to Play” and revealed that his ideal woman was none other than SNSD’s YoonA.

As previously reported, Lee Seung Gi had revealed that he was “a really easy guy” and that he wanted female celebrities to ask for his number.
His mentor, Lee Sun Hee, responded to the statement by revealing, “I would often ask Seung Gi, ‘Don’t you think SNSD’s YoonA is pretty?’ and he’d always reply with just, ‘Yes.’”
Seung Gi carefully replied, “I like YoonA-ssi, she’s very pretty, but I also don’t think that it’s appropriate to reply to that question saying I like her so I just say ‘Yes.’ Maybe it’s because I debuted at such a young age, but I don’t have that instinctive defense mindset for questions like that.”
When pressed about his ideal woman, he shyly admitted, “I like girls that have the style of YoonA.”

On April 4th, the members of Big Bang guested on MBC’s “Come to Play“, and finally spoke out on the rumors regarding their disbandment.

Heading into their fifth year this year, the group has gone through a series of disbandment rumors every time the members came out with solos or unit activities.
Idols are notoriously known for the ‘five-year-jinx’ - Seo Taiji and Kids disbanding after three years and nine months, H.O.T. broke apart after four years and five months, S.E.S. after five years, and g.o.d. after five years as well.
Daesung, who participated in the special through a phone call, explained, “There were honestly a lot of moments where we were at risk of disbanding, especially with our recent album. We fought a lot while preparing for it, since all of us had gone through solos or units, and now had to deal with differences in opinions.”
Taeyang continued, “After about four years, we all delved into separate activities that made us think on separate paths. The amount of time we spent meeting up became less and less, and I felt that we were growing distant. When CEO Yang Hyun Suk told us that we weren’t like we used to be, we wondered if we had lost our rookie mindset.”
T.O.P. stated, “We were also upset with the rumors that people were making up and the one-sided way they were viewing us.”
When asked about how they were going to overcome these obstacles and become a long-term group, the members revealed that they would not be focusing on money and popularity, and that they’d be protecting their rights of belief, hope, and private lives.
Daesung concluded, “Since we’re like family, I hope that we’ll remain as good brothers for a long, long time as a group.”

Big Bang’s T.O.P. recently shed tears after reading a letter from his mother. The members of Big Bang (minus Daesung who couldn’t make it due to a personal schedule) appeared on April 4th’s episode of “Come To Play“, where they each received handwritten letters from their parents.

The staff from “Come to Play” specially delivered letters written by the members’ mothers to cheer up the members, who have not been able to spend much time with family because of their busy schedules and dorm lives. When the Big Bang members heard that their parents had written letters for them, they were happily surprised. Even before revealing the contents of the letter, their eyes filled with tears. T.O.P. in particular was unable to hold back his tears, and, eventually, the tears flowed down his face.
After reading that his mother wanted to become his lighthouse, T.O.P. stated, “I feel like I’ve only shown her sides of me where I was unsure of myself and always worrying. I was rebellious in high school and didn’t attend class.”
Being sons who are normally blunt by nature, the members revealed that they never really told their mother,“I love you”. They used this opportunity during the broadcast to send their parents a heartfelt video message of their love and appreciation for them.
After reading that his mother had written that she wanted to cook him a meal in her letter, G-Dragon stated, “I’m upset that it’s come to a point where my mother has to ask to have a meal with me. I let her see me sigh too many times while producing this album; I’m extremely apologetic about that.”
Taeyang revealed, “When I said that I wanted to become a singer, my mother had a hard time with it. I showed my determination by refusing to go home, and I’m sure that hurt her a lot.”
Seungri expressed his gratitude towards the love his mother wrote in his letter, but jokingly added, “I think she wrote it in a rush.”

The boys were asked what they thought the group as a whole needed to work on in order to ensure their longevity.  Seungri chose ‘money’ and emphasized the importance of a stable income, which led the MCs to ask which member managed their income the best. Unanimously, all of the members chose Daesung.
Leader G-Dragon explained, “Daesung is cash rich, he doesn’t even accept interest.”
Their confessions on Daesung didn’t end there though, as the members went on to reveal that Daesung had a princess room that even “G-Dragon’s mother would be envious of.”
Due to a personal schedule, Daesung was unable to attend the recording. The studio made a surprise phone call, and when asked if he had any secret plans in mind to ensure the group’s longevity, Daesung wittily retorted, “Are the members even thinking of longevity?!”.
Aside from the lighter questions, the boys were also asked if they had any moments where their group was at risk of disbanding. They all honestly replied, “Many times.”

Though they were all seen smiling and having fun, the episode revealed that even idol singers possess painful scars from the past. The wildly popular IU, who’s beloved all over Korea, grew up in a household with financial difficulties. She first started by confessing her anxieties over the fleeting nature of popularity. She explained, “People listen to my songs a lot now, after time passes, and if I don’t appear on shows, many people will forget about me... maybe I’ll be better off without the memory of being famous. Then, she shared that during her childhood, her family suffered financial difficulties, so she stayed with her brother, cousin, and grandmother in one home. However, that home was infested with cockroaches, and IU wasn’t able to sleep there, so she moved to another relative’s home.
