Gilme, the only girl in hip hop trio Clover, demonstrated her outstanding mental and physical strength by going straight into filming for Clover’s new music video right after being released from the hospital.
Gilme received an appendectomy on September 10th at a hospital located in Seoul. According to her agency, they immediately canceled and re-scheduled the photoshoot as well as the music video filming that were originally set for the 11th.
Gilme addressed her concerns about such setbacks to her staff, and so on September 16th, she went to go film the music video. It was completed in 26 hours, and it’s said that Gilme did it all without even removing her stitches. Although appendectomy patients require a week of full rest, Gilme left the hospital early and exerted all the strength she had in order to prevent a delay in Clover’s comeback.
Fellow Clover member Eun Ji Won expressed his surprise at Gilme’s dedication, saying, “She must’ve been in so much pain. How could she have filmed with such a straight face?”

Using cute phrases, she wrote on Twitter, “Gilme will become as plump as bread by eating bread. My diet is a complete failure! I shall abandon it!”
Furthermore, she made netizens chuckle by uploading a couple pictures of herself with a caption that said, “Eat and die!”
Sporting her easily recognizable red hair fashioned in soft waves, Gilme is shown in the pictures enjoying a big plate of various pastries.
She received favorable responses from netizen such as, “But you’re still skinny without dieting~,” “Let’s eat and die together,” and “Unnie, my diet is fail, too…”
Showing off a healthy-looking body in the pictures, Gilme seems to have realized that she does not need to go on a diet anyway. Satisfied with her weight, she gets to enjoy the delicious food in front of her!

Their company, GYM Entertainment, has released new still cuts of Gilme, which earned her the new nickname, ‘Vampire’. This is because in the photos, Gilme bears a striking resemblance to the ‘Twilight‘ character Victoria, thanks to her striking red hair and subtely-gothic outfit.
Though many are marvelling over her new look, some are still whispering of her cosmetic surgery rumors. Last December, Gilme had become a hot issue after netizens spied her jacket picture for her digital single, ‘Why Am I Being An Idiot Like This’.
At that time, her company had denied all rumors of cosmetic surgery with, “Gilme is currently carrying out a completely full schedule. …When she doesn’t have schedules on a day, she doesn’t leave her house because of her own musical processes.”
With the renewed surge of interest in Gilme’s appearance, her company was forced to confront the rumors once more. “After the last rumors of plastic surgery, she didn’t have time to rest with the production of the recently made Clover’s mini album. We’re just going to be thankful for what we will think is much attention we are receiving from people.”
The group Gilme belongs to, Clover, will be releasing their title track ‘La Vida Loca’ on March 31st.
