On October 2nd’s episode of MBC’s “Section TV”, an interview of the Brown Eyed Girls was broadcast, revealing clips of the ladies’ performances from the past.
On this day, announcer Lee Sung Bae said to the members of the group, “Turns out we’re the same age…Hey friends!” It turned out that all of the members sans Ga In were born in 1981.
After their introduction, Lee Sung Bae played a clip of the girls from years back. When a video of a track from their first album–”Come Closer“–played, all of the members could not hide their shock. Lee Sung Bae commented, “I can’t tell who’s who,” and Narsha jokingly pointed out Miryo, replying, “They’re just our guest members,” acting as if they weren’t them. Narsha added on, “The clip playing right now are the first season members of the Brown Eyed Girls”, commenting endlessly as the ladies continued watching the clip in interest.
In contrast, Ga-in looked at herself and commented, “I was so cute. Guys liked me a lot at that time.”
The Brown Eyed Girls, who’ve finally returned after a long hiatus with ‘Sixth Sense’, shed tears as they thought about their past.
On October 2nd, they sat down for an interview withe MBC‘s ‘Section TV’, and were asked about the biggest change since their debut. Member Jea replied with a sheepish smile, “Money.”
She suddenly burst into tears as she explained, “Before our debut, even when buying ddukbokgi, Ga-In, who was a student at the time, still had to pay the same amount as us. When I think about that, I feel so sorry to Ga-In.”
The other members also could not hold back their tears as they reflected upon the difficult times they had to endure during the past.
Jea also embarrassed Ga-In when she revealed, “Ga-In is still close with Jo Kwon from acting as the ‘Adam Couple’ on ‘We Got Married’… I wish Ga-In and Jo Kwon would just get married. I can trust Jo Kwon.”
During the interview, the girls discussed the behind-the-scenes story on Ga-In’s ‘dolphin sound’ and their relationship with the Wonder Girls. They also carried out a special mission of finding matching friendship rings on the show.
18 September:
Last week, actress Kim Ha Neul and TVXQ were spotted in New York City attending a Lacostefashion show. Luckily for those fans who weren’t able to chase down their favorite stars, MBC‘s ‘Section TV Entertainment Correspondence‘ was on-site to give a behind-the-scenes look of their stay in ‘The Big Apple’.
The show aired this footage on September 18th, starting with an interview segment with Kim Ha Neul.
Kim Ha Neul was asked what she enjoyed about New York’s culture, and she cheekily replied,“Drinking,” causing everyone to laugh on set. She was also asked to choose between her movie castmates Yoo Seung Ho and Jang Geun Suk, to which she wisely answered, “It’s too hard to choose… This question is weird.”
Kim Ha Neul later confessed, “If I could stay in New York for one year, I would like to date someone.”
In addition, TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin showed off their charisma while touring the city. Changmin laughed, “I can understand Yunho just by the look in his eyes because I’ve spent so much time with him. However, I wish he would talk less.”

On September 4th in MBC‘s ‘Section TV Entertainment‘, Kikwang received a unanimous vote for transforming the most since the group’s debut.
Kikwang explained, “During my trainee and debut days, my figure didn’t really seem to live,” as explosive reactions were met when members revealed what Kikwang looked like before his debut.
Dongwoon stated, “Lee Kikwang’s hair was actually rogue and curly. However, until his debut and during his trainee days, they couldn’t cut his hair because they didn’t know what style they should do.”
He continued, “That’s why Kikwang’s hair was always curly and long. It looked like jajangmyeon [brown noodles].”
28 August:
On August 28th, MBC’s ‘Section TV‘ went behind-the-scenes for G.NA’s new lingerie photoshoot. On this day, G.NA made several costume changes ranging from cute to sexy, and showed off her “killer” charm. In fact, she mesmerized the entire staff by revealing her perfect “S-line”!
When asked about her naturally ‘gifted body’ during the on-site interview, G.NA answered, “I don’t feel that way at all, but since people say that … I like sweets so my mom scolds me sometimes.”
Also, when asked to pick her best body trait, G.NA shyly replied, “How can I say that myself?,” but hesitantly revealed that she liked the way her legs looked when she wore clothes.
Later, the interview went on to ask G.NA about who her ideal boyfriend. She named fellow labelmate,B2ST’s Yoon Doojoon, as the guy who best embodied her ideal type.
“I like guys who have strong leadership“. She also picked “going to the amusement park” as something she would like to do with her future boyfriend.

He decided Busan was an appropriate location to hold the interview since his new self-composed song is titled “Busan Woman“. Busan is also the city chosen to kick off his last concert tour, ‘The Best Show‘, before enlisting in the military.
Due to the overwhelming number of people who gathered for a chance to catch a glimpse of the star, the entire area was eventually immobilized. Ten security guards from Rain’s agency were already present, but out of concern for the public’s safety about fifty policemen were also added.
During the interview, Rain introduced his new song with the explanation, “It was written and composed by myself. And actually, the song has to do with a true story about me!”, causing fans to wonder about the story behind the song.
Later, when the host, Park Seul Gi jokingly commented, “It’s been ten years since your debut, your skin definitely looked better when you were younger“, Rain pretended to take offense and retorted, “I’m still an idol! What! I’m only 29! I can still take on roles that involve wearing a school uniform, but it makes me upset that I’m only getting offers for action and film noir roles“.
He proceeded to grumble on in a cute manner, causing viewers to laugh.

On August 7th, MBC’s ‘Section TV‘ went behind-the-scenes of SNSD’s YoonA and actor Lee Min Ho’s latest fashion photoshoot for ‘Eider‘!
In their interview, YoonA was asked what she would most like to do when she gets a boyfriend. She replied, “When I get a boyfriend, I’ve always wanted to try a back hug.”
Reporter Park Seul Gi then got up and gave Lee Min Ho a back hug, remarking, “In order to protect your idol image, I’ll give him a back hug for you.” Laughing, YoonA said, “I’m satisfied.”
Lee Min Ho, who was also all smiles throughout the shoot, revealed his affections for YoonA by saying, “Whenever I feel tired from my drama filming, I think of YoonA.”
The actor was then asked to name a memorable kiss from a drama. He replied, “I think my sofa kiss was the most memorable.”

Singer Jay Park revealed that he would want Min Hyo Rin as his partner on “We Got Married“.
On the July 24th episode of MBC’s “Section TV“, an interviewer visited Jay Park and Kwon Ri Sae on the set of a CF.
The interviewer asked Jay Park, “If you could be on ‘We Got Married’ like Kwon Ri Sae and David Oh, who would you want as a partner?”
He answered, “I would want to be partnered with Min Hyo Rin.” Kwon Ri Sae then said, “My imaginary husband David Oh was not my ideal type. I like a masculine guy.”
The interviewer then suggested Jay Park as the masculine ideal type. Kwon Ri Sae wittily replied, “Jay Park has Min Hyo Rin.”
On July 24th, Yoo Seung Ho guested on MBC’s ‘Section TV Entertainment News‘, where he promoted the bestselling-book-turned-animated-movie, ‘The Hen who Left the Yard‘, for which he plays the voice of ‘Chorok‘, the rebel duck.
Since he was known as ‘Korea’s little brother’ and is now a full-grown man, Yoo Seung Ho answered the question about his ideal type without any hesitation.
He revealed, “I like girls who are about 163cm (5′4″), has a short bob hairstyle, and looks good in just jeans and a white t-shirt” – surprising everyone around him with his honesty.
Yoo Seung Ho even added, “I don’t really like long, straight hair…” making viewers more curious about his ideal type. In particular, Yoo Seung Ho caught the attention of viewers by being able to innocently describe his ideal type with a bright smile on his face.

The June 12th episode of MBC’s “Section TV” saw the reporter pay a visit to Kim Hyun Joong’s showcase. During the interview, the reporter asked asked Kim Hyun Joong about how he felt after admitting he had plastic surgery on air recently. The star replied, “I do not remember anything about it. It felt as though I took my brain out and put it back in again.”
Kim Hyun Joong also again stated that Lee Hyori is still his ideal woman. When asked, “Do you have any girl groups that you like?”, Kim Hyun Joong paused and wittily answered, “What’s the point of liking them? I would have to meet them,” causing everyone in the room to laugh.

Because the girls have so many members, they revealed that they have to use the bathroom with four members at a time. One of the members revealed, “We shower four members at a time. One side washes their hair while the other side brushes their teeth. There are even members that use the toilet.”
Some of the other members, however, playfully denied the statement by adding, “That’s not true.”
The interview also covered some footage from their early debuts. On the topic of Kahi doing the splits during their performances, she revealed, “I did do the splits before until a new member came in that was capable of doing it in all different directions. I haven’t done the splits since.”

On May 22nd, the reporters of MBC’s “Section TV” visited the set of 4minute’s latest endorsement photoshoot, and interviewed the girls on their looks and image.
Since the endorsement was for a makeup brand, the reporters were inspired to ask: “Out of all the members of 4minute, who do you think has the prettiest bare face?” Unanimously, the members all chose leader Jihyun, and reasoned that she had healthy skin that shined even without makeup.
HyunA added, “Jihyun looks better without makeup, actually. She was born with nice skin so she doesn’t even need isolating skin care.”
As this was the girls’ first makeup endorsement since their debut, they weren’t able to hide their excitement. “Our CEO was both surprised and glad that we landed the deal since he thought that we don’t have that kind of innocent, sweet image that the brands usually require.”
When asked to choose a member that pays the most attention to the way they look, HyunA confidently chose herself before the other members had a chance to answer.
25 April:
On this week’s episode of “Section TV Entertainment“, actor Song Joong Ki and singer IU enjoyed a sweet date together in front of the cameras for an adorable interview with the show.
IU, who had previously listed Song Joong Ki as one of her many ideal men, showed off her shy character throughout the shoot by covering her eyes and blushing every time he called her by her real name.
After finding out that Song Joong Ki’s former dream actually used to be to become a PD, producers of the show handed him a mic and gave him the opportunity to be a reporter for the day. His first topic of business? He immediately turned to IU and asked, “Why does your ideal man change so much?”

Capturing their unique personalities, the pictures varied from one other. One member looked as though he just woke up and took the picture, whereas another member smiled brightly for the camera. ForJung Yong Hwa’s picture, everyone agreed that he looks like a ’son from a wealthy family’.
This broadcast also revealed pictures from their debut days. There wasn’t a big difference between now and back then, however, everyone noticed that the members all stared straight into the lens, as if they were going to drill a hole through the camera.

During the interview, footage during her child acting days from “Little Angeles” was brought up, causing her to shyly exclaim, “Do we have to air this?! I didn’t look so good on camera back then.”
When asked about her acting controversy that brewed with her debut, the actress replied nonchalantly, “I think they had a right to be angry back then.”
Unlike many other actresses who have expressed difficulty in dealing with such criticisms, Hwang Jung Eum revealed that she was able to still take away from the experience while laughing it off.
When the reporter brought up other footage of acting she received compliments for, Hwang Jung Eum hilariously praised herself by commenting, “Wow, that’s really touching.”

On March 27th, MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment“ revealed an interview with Song Ji Hyo where the reporter held an ideal man world cup, consisting of all the men the actress worked with, in order to figure out her ideal type.
During the initial rounds, Song Ji Hyo chose unexpected figures, as she showed preference for Yoo Jae Suk over Song Joong Ki. Furthermore, she also chose Song Il Gook over Im Chang Jung and Gary overJo In Sung.
Additionally, during the final rounds, the actress had to choose between Yoo Jae Suk, Song Il Gook, and Gary. Out of the three male figures, Song Ji Hyo surprised by choosing Gary as the winner.

Actress Kim Hyun Joo’s debut pictures are gaining a lot of interest from netizens!
During the “Rising Star” corner on this week’s broadcast of MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment”, Kim Hyun Joo’s past photos were revealed to the fans.
In this corner, reporter Park Seul Ki and Kim Hyun Joo looked back at Kim Hyun Joo’s past. The first thing that was revealed was Kim Hyun Chul’s “Life” music video back in 1996, in which Kim Hyun Joo had appeared and performed ballet.
While watching this music video, Kim Hyun Joo, laughing, commented, “My waist was pretty slender.”
On the other hand, Kim Hyun Joo was shocked to see clips of herself back when she was a VJ.
