Melon Musicians Debut Project Album ‘Take #1‘ is serving as a gateway for rookie musicians, and the final candidate’s song has been revealed.
Rookie composer Seo Jungmo wrote the new song “Love Again“, for which singer Seo In Guk has graciously lended his voice. The song sings about a man who was left scarred and hurt over a relationship, and tells his lover that although he accepts the split, it asks her to one day return.
He approaches her again to show her how much he’s matured and changed, and nervously confesses his love for her once more. Seo In Guk’s sweet voice well complements the sensuous melody and acoustic sound, and it’s the perfect feel-good love song for this winter season. Fans’ expectations for the song were heightened as Seo In Guk shared a preview via his Twitter page last week, and the official track was released at midnight on December 14th on various music sites such as Melon,Dosirak, Olleh Music, Mnet.com, Cyworld, and more.

Through his Me2day, the singer wrote, “Can someone please take me home~ Only volunteer if you can carry this shopping bag keke.”
Judging from the ‘UN… (Unionbay)’ written on the side of his bag, the picture looks to be taken straight from the set of his photoshoot with fellow endorsement model IU. The earmuffs add an extra cute feel to the photo, along with his sly smile.

A few days back, singer Seo In Guk released a mysterious MV teaser that threw out a bunch of questions like, “Who? – Someone, Where – Seo In Guk’s Home“. These questions were finally answered in the full music video for his new song, “Shake It Up“!
“Shake It Up” is the work of American composer Drew Ryan Scott, who’s already worked with countless of different Korean singers already. The album jacket cover was designed by Mina Kwon, who’s illustrated for the likes of Chris Brown and Sean Kingston.
Producer Hwang Se Jin, who’s known for his stunning arrangements of Jang Hye Jin’s songs on MBC’s ‘I Am a Singer‘, is also the project’s head director.
Under such a strong foundation of support, Seo In Guk’s “Shake It Up” will surely be the summer theme song for many for years to come.
The star also invited a bevy of stars to cameo in his fun music video, including Jewelry, Mighty Mouth,T-ara’s Jiyeon, and Norazo. Rocking out to the happy-go-lucky track, these stars seemed to have a blast at Seo In Guk’s glow-in-the-dark house party.

Now, we have the MV teaser for his new track, “Shake It Up“!
In the teaser, Seo In Kook is lackadaisically sitting back and watching TV when he suddenly gets shocked by what he sees. He starts to crawl back with fear and the teaser abruptly ends with the sound of a slicing knife. The ending is definitely building up anticipation for the release of the official video.

Emphasizing bright colors, the picture also depicted Seo In Kook with curly hair and oversized sunglasses. The fun and bright album cover is sure to catch every fans’ eyes.
Seo In Kook is scheduled to release his new album on August 10th and will have a comeback onMnet’s ‘M! Countdown‘ the following day. He will be promoting his lead track, “Shake It Up“.

On March 31st, he tweeted, “I don’t drink and drive, nor do I do drugs. So why can I not perform on music programs as I wish? I would like to express my infinite gratitude towards Mnet and KBS for permitting me to perform on their shows. I will be giving everything I have.”
This new tweet from Seo In Kook caused many to interpret that his situation is the result of network bias. The competition between cable and public broadcast networks remain bitter, and relations are icy at best. Consequently, industry representatives are buzzing about how Seo’s status as a former “Superstar K” participant (in other words, an Mnet star), is apparently causing public networks to turn him down.
It’s not a unique problem for Seo In Kook, as he’s been battling these issues since his debut. Although he was able to win #1 on “M! Countdown” in the past, and ranked at the top numerous times on music charts, he hasn’t fared so well on KBS and SBS, and has never performed on MBC.
Although he aimed for a fresh start with his comeback, it seems that Seo In Kook hasn’t quite shaken off the shackles from his previous round of promotions. In any case, he aims to deliver a phenomenal comeback stage through “M1 Countdown” on March 31st.

On March 25th, the singer’s teaser was released exclusively through Daum, and fans were shocked by his strong charisma. Seo In Kook wanted to portray a ‘modern fetish’ concept, and so the short clip focused on shots of his hands, face, and neck while a haunting preview of his song played in the background.
Donning a bold lace top with a sharp bowl cut, Seo In Kook seems to have smashed his cute and dandy look from his “Love U” and “Baby U” days. Fans expressed high interest in the singer’s drastic transformation, and are looking forward to seeing what he will reveal next.
