Global electronics company LG Electronics has chosen Super Junior and f(x) to be their new endorsement models!
On October 18th, LG representatives revealed their plans to produce a 3-D music video with Super Junior. The music video will be released early next year through LG’s newly launched, free Hallyu content service program called ‘K-POP ZONE‘. ‘K-POP ZONE’ is a service inside the latest LG Cinema 3D Smart TVs, which provides hours of never-before-seen premium K-Pop content on demand.
In addition, LG Electronics will be supporting the upcoming ‘SM Town Concert‘ in New York City on the 23rd. LG is currently promoting the ‘SM Town Concert’ through a giant LED screen display in theTimes Square. The advertisement for the event will flash 100 times a day on the screen alongside the ‘K-POP ZONE’ and LG icon. Considering that 1.5 million people walk through the area everyday, the promotion will definitely get a lot of exposure in New York.
Furthermore, Super Junior and f(x) will be endorsing a wide range of LG products for an entire year. The president of global marketing at LG Electronics shared, “With the help of leading celebrities of the Hallyu Wave, our brand awareness will go up and we believe they will do an excellent job as representatives for ‘K-POP ZONE’”.
In the past, actor Lee Min Ho and KARA were the brand models for LG. The two proved to be quite effective, as the ‘Hallyu Marketing Strategy’ increased the company’s brand awareness significantly.

On September 6th, LG Electronics revealed that they had recruited four of Korea’s top CF models for promotions of their ’3D’ campaign, which include their full 3D lineup of LG’s cinema 3D television, 3D monitor, 3D laptop, and 3D smartphone.
Top stars Won Bin, Kim Tae Hee, Jang Dong Gun, and Shin Min Ah each filmed an impressive 3D ‘movie-like’ CF that portrayed different storylines.
In Won Bin’s action packed CF, the actor sprints and jumps to avoid flying missiles and pulls out a gun to aim at the helicopter on his tail, making viewers feel like they were watching a blockbuster film. Next, Kim Tae Hee is desperately searching for her true love in her CF while looking beautiful in a flowing red dress.
Meanwhile, Jang Dong Gun is seen racing down the street in his hot red Ferrari while being pursued by another car. He dodges flying bullets and jumps out of the television screen with a car exploding close behind him. And finally, the lovely Shin Min Ah is filmed riding down a peaceful path lined with the yellow leaves of ginkgo trees on her bicycle.

A few days ago, G.NA came storming back to the music scene with her new track, “Top Girl“. Now she’s released an alternate version of her comeback track for her endorsement with LG Electronics‘ ‘Smart NetHard‘ brand.
Titled “Net Girl“, the song was re-written to focus on the positive qualities of the electronic product. Naturally, the music video was first released through LG’s official website.
“We expect a strong response from consumers by revealing G.NA’s “Net Girl” music video alongside her comeback activities,” said LG in a statement.

Korea’s power couple Jang Dong Gun and Ko So Young have been double cast as new CF models forLG Electronics‘ “Tromm“!
Ko So Young previously worked with the brand back in 2004, and was succeeded by actress Lee Na Young soon after. This time, she’s back with her husband to promote the brand’s #1 premium image. The two will be endorsing the Tromm washing machine’s ‘direct drive’ motor technology.
Representatives of LG revealed, “The couple was a major factor in the brand’s growth this year, so we’re looking forward to seeing what they’ll be bringing for our washing machines.”
Their CF can be seen on TVs nationwide starting next month.

Kwon Ri Sae and David Oh of MBC’s ‘We Got Married‘ have landed their very own ‘couple’ CF deal for LG Electronics‘ smartphone, “Optimus 3D“!
Smartphone CFs are known for only bringing in top stars, so it’s quite exceptional for two rookie stars to be signed on at the same time. The CF begins with a narration by Kwon Ri Sae, stating, “I record my feelings for him in 3D, send it in 3D, enjoy it in 3D, and treasure it in 3D.”
Filmed at Seoul’s Olympic Park, Kwon Ri Sae brightened up the gloomy atmosphere with her bright personality. Despite not being needed on set that day, David Oh visited anyway to lend his support to his virtual wife, bringing out the envy of staff members.
Representatives of LG said, “They’re both from audition programs so the public already feels a friendly image from them. Since they’re also acting as newlyweds on ‘We Got Married’, we felt that they would exude a natural and romantic feel, which is why we chose them as our CF models.”

After Shin Min Ah concluded her contract with LG Electronics “Cinema 3D Monitor“, and actorSong Joong Ki has become the sole spokesmodel for the brand.
The actor recently filmed a CF for the special 3D TV model under the concept that just a small finger snap can easily change a regular 2D TV screen to 3D.
He stood in front of the camera without his former partner and successfully pulled off the concept, topping it off by wearing a stylish pair of 3D glasses.
A representative for LG Electronics stated, “A fun CF was created by the collaboration between Song Joong Ki and LG Electronics Cinema 3D Monitor. We will emphasize the privileges our customers can enjoy with 3D TV by carrying out a variety of promotions.”

Pop group KARA have just revealed their commercial for LG – NTT Docomo’s Optimus Bright phone!
The 15-second commercial features KARA playing around on the beach and taking pictures with the Optimus Bright, as their new Japanese single, “Go Go Summer!”, plays in the background.
Also recently revealed is a sneak peek of the filming of the commercial, where you can get a behind-the-scenes look at the girls enjoying themselves on the set.

LG Electronics revealed on June 1st that they chose KARA to be the Japanese CF models for their upcoming cellphone brand , LG ‘Optimus Bright’.
A representative revealed, “To celebrate the launch of our new ‘Optimus Bright’ smartphone in mid-June, we have decided to partner with popular girl group KARA because of their youthful and lovely image which complements our product.”
KARA will also be releasing a new Japanese single titled ‘Go Go Summer Bright‘ on June 29th, which will be used for the CM and be promoted at the same time.
The LG ‘Optimus Bright’ is the Japanese variant of the ‘Optimus Black‘, but with some slight modifications. The CM and print advertisements will be launched starting June 17th.
A scene from actress Shin Min Ah and actor Song Joong Ki’s CF for LG’s XNOTE P430 has been revealed!
During the filming of the CF, both Shin Min Ah and Song Joong Ki wore tight, black outfits and displayed a futuristic appearance – catching viewers’ attention with their transformation.
In particular, the CF’s heroine, Shin Min Ah, escaped her usual innocent or sexy concept and successfully undertook the transformation into a female warrior. She wore ripped leggings and a tight, leather outfit that showed off her body and displayed a new charm that viewers had not seen before.
During the filming, Shin Min Ah was even seen shooting an action shot using a bow-and-arrow. Viewers are looking forward to seeing the completed version of this innovative CF.

26 April:On April 25th, LG Electronics announced that they’ve picked up Yoo Ah In and Kim Sa Rang to be the co-models for their smartphone product, “Optimus“!
The company stated, “Yoo Ah In’s modern looks and strong charisma fits well with our product, as did Kim Sa Rang’s beautiful features and fashionable tastes. All of that became a factor in our decision to cast them as our newest models.”
The two will be going head to head in their CF, which is done under the tagline of “I was born to be shown off.”
Their CF will begin airing next month.
20 April:Actress Kim Tae Hee and actor Jung Woo Sung (who is currently dating Athena costar Lee Ji Ah) recently appeared at an event which was held in LG’s Life’s Good Studio in Gangnam-gu, Seoul to promote LG’s Dios “smart refrigerator”. The two are spokesmodels for LG’s new refrigerator, and they’ve already filmed a pair of rather sexy CFs (who knew that refrigerator ads could be sexy?) for the company.
At the event, which was hosted by MC Park Young Jin, Kim Tae Hee shared a rather funny NG story about the CF filming, saying, “Whenever I see Jung Woo Sung’s face, I laugh because of my mistake.” She continued, explaining, “The concept behind the CF was that Jung Woo Sung is trying to seduce me with his pose and his eyes, but in reality, I’m attracted to the refrigerator.” (See CF 2) Continuing, “However, trying to pose, knowing that, it was very awkward,” she admitted, drawing laughter from the audience.
But Kim Tae Hee’s humor wasn’t the only thing that caught the attention of reporters – her toned arms, fabulous legs, and purple dress quite literally took center stage, as netizens commented, “Her legs are perfect“, “I’m jealous of her line“, “She’s a 100% beauty“, “She lacks nothing, from a perfect body to a perfect face“, “It doesn’t need words, she’s a goddess“, “Is the dress a one piece?“, “Her sincerity disappeared“.

1 Maret: 2PM’s Nichkhun filmed a CF with his entire family and the CF has been released.
The CF was LG U+ International Calling 002. As Nichkhun’s family is in Thailand, his current situation for calling his family was a perfect match to feature LG U+’s small fees for international calling.
The phone service company added, “International Calling 002’s slogan, ‘Long~call, small fees’, actually matches Nichkhun’s family situation. We believe that using Nichkhun in our ads will heighten the customers’ understanding of and connection to us… Because Nichkhun filmed the CF with his family in Thailand, we were able to film in a cheerful and happy atmosphere.”
