One Night in TV Entertaintment

13 July:
On the July 13th broadcast of SBS’s ‘One Night TV Entertainment‘, ZE:A revealed their diet for better vocals, mentioning that Michael Jackson was also known to follow the same procedures.

ZE:A loses 4 kg each month, which they revealed was also good for their vocals. They ran 5.7 km on the park trails in addition to climbing 558 stairs for 3 hours, a good exercise in strengthening their vocal muscles and breathing.
After that, they trained their abdominal breathing, by exhaling for 4 seconds before holding their breath for another 4  seconds, after which they then blew a balloon for 4 seconds. They concluded their exercise by eating honey, which they revealed was good for their health.
Dongjun recommended their diet as he stated, “While it’s exercise, it’s also good for both abdominal breathing and abs workout. Because we combine aerobics together with our diet, our lower body muscles are good.

Fans of the late Park Yong Ha recently gathered in Seoul to attend the one-year memorial service for the actor’s death.

SBS’s “One Night of TV Entertainment” reported on the opening of the memorial service, which took place back on June 30th; for which a total of 1,500 fans, from both home and abroad, were present. Many fans dropped tears of sadness as they were still mourning the death of their beloved actor.
Park Kwang Hyun, one of the late Park Yong Ha’s closest friends, stood up on stage to present a heartwarming speech. “Are you doing well? After passing so many days in disbelief, it has already been one year. We might still be sad, but I hope you’re resting comfortably up in heaven.”
One Japanese fan expressed, “Park Yong Ha is still alive in the deepest of our hearts. We formed a group in Japan that helps continue on the voluntary work that Park Yong Ha committed to during his life time.”
Park Yong Ha underwent voluntary work in Chad, Africa, where he helped build the first Jonah School for the children. Singer Lee Seung Chul is also helping in on the development of the second Jonah School in developing country under Park Yong Ha’s name.

On this week’s episode of SBS’s “One Night of Entertainment TV”, actor Yoo Seung Ho and actress Yoon Soyee were interviewed for their upcoming movie, “Warrior Bae Dong-Soo“. They revealed their thoughts on working together and on future image transformations.

When Yoo Seung Ho was asked, “How did you feel when you found out you were cast alongside Yoon Soyee?”, he replied, “I liked it. We’ve always been close friends, so it felt good.”
Yoon Soyee added, “I’ve been friends with Seung Ho since he was young. We pranked a lot during middle school, but now that he’s in high school, he’s become awkward around me.”
The interviewer then asked Yoo Seung Ho, “How does it feel acting in your first antagonist role?”. He replied, “I liked it, but I’m not always a bad character.” Yoo Seung Ho was then requested to make an evil facial expression, but the actor couldn’t hide his innocence as he burst out with laughter over the request.
Yoo Seung Ho also expressed his thoughts about his changing public image. “Ever since I starred in ‘The Way Home’, many people think I’m still young and call me the ‘nation’s little brother’. I’d like to show a more serious and masculine image through my role in ‘Warrior Bae Dong-Soo’. I’ve even taken the university-entrance exams, so I’m an adult now.”

On this week’s episode of SBS’“One Night of TV Entertainment”, actress Kim Sarang from the hit drama “Secret Garden” was interviewed on her highly touted envy-worthy body figure.
When asked, “Which part of yourself are you most confident of?” Kim Sarang answered, “My body figure ratio is a bit… you know?”
She continued, “When I debuted in the Miss Korea pageant, Andre Kim told me that my 1:8 head to body ratio was my greatest strength. My long legs make it uncomfortable to sit in the cinemas, though.”
Besides the cons, she pointed out a couple of good points about having long legs, as she admitted, “I like them because I can walk faster, and especially because it’s comfortable when I try on clothes.”
Kim Sarang and the interviewer then went on to compare their body figures, where the actress was proudly able show off her true 1:8 perfect ratio.

On SBS’s “One Night of TV Entertainment” this week, idol group T-ara finally unveiled the diet they’ve been undergoing to tone up their sexy body figures for their recent comeback.
The members revealed that their diet is called the “Neat Diet”, where they can all eat comfortably while doing activities that burns off a lot of the calories. They don’t have any specific exercise regime; instead they exhaust their calories through their everyday life habits.
To put it simply, “eat a lot while moving around a lot”.
Such habits include running up the stairs rather than taking the elevator and folding the laundry while standing up.
Member Hyomin stated that she gets arm muscle exercising from arm-cocking movements in their ‘hustle dance’ in “Roly Poly”, while Boram revealed that she lost quite a bit of weight from simply using the hula hoop and skipping rope.
Boram expressed, “I worked hard on skipping 3000 times every single day. For the hula hoop, since it’s more of a whole body exercise, you can lose more weight faster than doing area-specific exercises. I used to hula hoop for two hours at a time.”

On the most recent episode of SBS TV’s One Night of TV Entertainment, the members of 2PMrevealed how hard they worked during their 1st album activities to obtain their ideal bodies.
Apparently, the boys were very limited for their diet, and there were weeks when they were only allowed to eat chicken breast, apples, and sweet potatoes in order to keep their sharp, beastly image.
However, 2PM doesn’t have it all that bad. The boys also shared that they’ve now moved into a bigger dorm. Junho stated, “We recently moved dorms, and all the members were able to get a room they were happy with. Normally, we lived with two or three members in one room, but now we each get our own individual rooms so we get to do whatever we want.”
Taecyeon added that maybe Junho, though, does whatever he wants in excess, “When Junho starts singing in the shower at 4AM, Nichkhun screams louder, ‘Junho stop singing!’”

The members of ‘beast idol group’ 2PM turned into giddy girl fans after spotting famous actor Jang Dong Gun’s car.

On the June 29th broadcast of SBS’s ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘, 2PM had an interview pertaining to their “Hands Up” comeback.
During the interview 2AM’s Seulong, who was shooting a music video nearby, made a surprise appearance. Seulong exclaimed, “These kids are crazy! Because they’re crazy, they’re always energetic and make the people around them enjoy themselves,” encouraging the 2PM members.
After Seulong was about to leave and while the 2PM members were reorganizing the seating arrangements for the interview, a white vehicle passed by. But it wasn’t just any ordinary white vehicle, because the 2PM members noticed that the car / suv actually belonged to Jang Dong Gun and chased after it while laughing. Junho even stated, “Let’s get rid of Seulong hyung!”
Meanwhile, 2PM also shared their thoughts, “We would like to become long-lasting singers,” and “I hope our friendship doesn’t change.”

For fans who’ve wondered and admired Jang Hyuk’s luxurious and muscular body, Jang Hyuk recently revealed the steps in making his muscular body on the June 29th broadcast of SBS’s ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘.

His first secret was in making the arms muscular. Jan Hyuk revealed, “I always carry 10 kg. (22 pounds) worth of weights in the car.” He showed how he endured holding the weights 90 degrees as he did 1 set around 10 times with the 10 kg. weights .
He explained, “Your endurance gets better and the strength you need also increases as your muscles form.” He also suggested turning the dumbbell for 10 sets with 50 reps in a day to strengthen one’s wrists.
His second secret was in making the abs. Jang Hyuk suggested, “Every day, try to perform 100 high leg kicks. To make the abs toned you have to always be on the move. When you hold your legs up, you’re strengthening the stomach.”
Jang Hyuk’s last bonus secret was in creating a well balanced body as a practitioner of Jeet Kune Do, which was Bruce Lee’s martial art philosophy.

On June 16th, SECRET guested on SBS’s “One Night of TV Entertainment” and revealed their diet plan.

The girl group’s 3-part diet method involves a breakfast diet, dancing, and exercise.
What especially caught the eyes of viewers was their low-carb and high protein breakfast diet. The meal consisted of sweet potatoes, bananas, tofu, tomatoes, and other healthy foods.
Sunhwa stated, “Out of all the diet foods, sweet potatoes taste the best”.
Hyosung added, “In order to rapidly lose weight, I’ve tried fasting and eating just cereal, but those methods just made my body unhealthy. In order to stay healthy, we made sure to choose an assortment of healthy diet foods”.
Through this breakfast meal plan, the SECRET members have been successful in losing 3~4 kg (approximately 6 to 8 pounds). However, their breakfast meal consists of only a total of 565 calories, leading some viewers to worry about their health.
The SECRET members added that practicing the choreography for ‘Madonna’ allows them to work out their arms and hips as well. In the episode, they also revealed exercise routines they perform everyday.

Singer-turned-actress Nam Gyuri admitted that she had some work done to her face.

The confession came about after she shared some childhood photos on the June 2nd episode of ’One Night of TV Entertainment‘.
Nam Gyuri explained, “I was rather sad that I placed second on the rank of ‘celebrities with shocking pasts’. After that aired on TV, I didn’t want to go around saying, ‘I didn’t get a total makeover. I look the same as before.”
She added, “I think women get more beautiful as we age. Truthfully, I got my teeth straightened and got work done on my face twice.
Meanwhile, Gyuri also admitted that she dated a fellow star while she was still a singer.
Netizens commented, “I want to applaud her honesty” and “She was pretty before too“.

Shin Se Kyung recently transformed into a ballerina for her photoshoot with jewelry brand, ‘Stonehenge‘.

The latest episode of SBS’s ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘ documented the actress’s graceful transformation on set.
As Shin Se Kyung fiddled with her outfit, she expressed, “I donned a ballet outfit because the concept of the photoshoot is to portray a ballerina. It’s not easy to pose because it takes a lot of practice to pose like a real ballerina.
Responding to the reporter’s statement that she resembled a ballerina perfectly, Shin Se Kyung said, “I worked hard to look like a real ballerina. I learned ballet for a bit when I was 4.”
This led to the teasing question about her nickname as a ‘bagel girl’, to which she responded, “I have a mature look but I don’t have a baby face.”
She added, “I like being called smart better than being called innocent or sexy.

Dasom’s bare face is gaining lots of attention for her flawless skin!

May 26th’s broadcast of SBS’s “One Night Of TV Entertainment” featured a segment on the daily lifestyles of K-pop girl groups.
They followed SISTAR19’s Bora and Hyorin, who carried out their schedules until 11 PM. Their hectic lifestyles worried the viewers, as they even revealed that they haven’t gone home since new year’s. They commented, “Even if we don’t have schedules, we get lessons and go to the hospital [as we weren't able to go before], so all of the time passes.
SISTAR also revealed their dorm for the first time, where Dasom revealed her bare face. Her sparkling face charmed the viewers with her glossy skin and dominant facial features.
When Dasom was asked the question, “If you could live as a non-celebrity for a year, what kind of life would you want to live?“, she responded by saying, “I want to study“, intriguing her fans.

On May 13th, singer-turned actress Park Ji Yoon guested on SBS’s “Nightly TV Entertainement” and talked about the hard times she had when she first debuted as a singer.
When asked about her scandal with H.O.T.’s Kangta, she stated, “Kangta’s fans would shout harsh swear words at me when I was singing on stage and they even cursed at me with their fingers. I didn’t feel bad because of it, but rather very scared. I was young at the time so it was very hard for me to handle.”
She also shared that she’s still afraid of seeing high school students dressed in school uniforms due to the ordeal.

What do Big Bang’s G-Dragon, Shin Se Kyung, and miss A’s Min have in common?

The answer to this was aired on the May 12th episode of SBS’s “One Night’s TV Entertainment”during a special corner that focused on celebrities’ pasts.
Viewers learned that G-Dragon, Shin Se Kyung, and Min were participants on “BoBoBo” (the Korean version of ‘Sesame Street’) when they were young.
Naturally, pictures were dredged up and fans saw that the idols remained virtually the same after they grew up. The young G-Dragon looked mischievous and handsome, while Shin Se Kyung and Min drew praise for their promising beauty.
Musing over the coincident, netizens wrote,  ”It looks like stars are born with talent” and “‘BoBoBo’ has skills in picking out people with talent!”.

Actress Han Chae Young recently revealed her abs on SBS’s One Night Of Entertainment TV“ and is now receiving a lot of interest for her toned body.

Nicknamed ‘Barbie Doll’, Han Chae Young was shown taking part in a fashion photoshoot on “One Night Of Entertainment TV” on May 12th, and she appeared on the set wearing jean shorts and a t-shirt, showing off her midriff, which revealed her well-toned body and abs.
When being interviewed on the set, Han Chae Young said, “My clothes are often too short for me because my legs and arms are long.” That’s a small price to pay for such a nicely toned body that would make both girls and guys drool over, don’t you think?
In addition, she stated, “My abs often show in the mornings only,” causing the audience to laugh.

On May 5th, the reporters from SBS’s “One Night in TV Entertainment” visited IU during a cell phone launching event for a brief interview, asking the young star to give answers to a list of random questions.


When asked what her record was for the 100m sprint, she replied, “About 23 seconds. I’m not that athletic.”She was then given a rapidfire set of questions, “My favorite snack is cheese. I know how to cook kimchi fried rice.. and the subject I hate the most is math. I won’t be revealing my test score!”
When asked whether she’d go public if she had a boyfriend, she shyly replied, “I think I’d hide it.”
Her favorite song as of late is f(x)’s “Pinocchio.” While on the topic of music, IU was then asked to choose a girl group that she would join if she could. 
Immediately, she answered, “f(x)! My favorite song at the karaoke is ‘Pinocchio.’”
Finally concluding with the last question, IU was asked whether she wanted to get plastic surgery. ”My face,”she replied. “My nose is a bit low, so I’d like for it to be raised a bit. It’s not like I hate it, but isn’t it human nature to want to become prettier.”

From the time comedian Kim Ki Soo was accused of sexually assaulting someone, Kim Ki Soo has spent his time filled with misery and hopelessness.

SBS “One Night’s TV Entertainment”, which aired on April 21st, revealed information on Kim Ki Soo’s trial, that was held on the 20th. The show also interviewed him about his feelings of what he had to go through.
Kim Ki Soo stated, “First off, they declared that I’m innocent. I’m so glad that the misunderstanding has been resolved. To this point, I had a really hard time and I even had extreme thoughts.” 
Kim Ki Soo was declared innocent because there was no credibility to the statements of person A, the person who was supposedly sexually assaulted by Kim Ki Soo.
After this issue happened, I tried to kill myself. Although it the accusations were false, I had nightmares thinking that public opinion and ultimately the trial would decide that I am guilty. If that happened, I thought I could no longer live in Korea. I seriously thought about immigrating to somewhere else.”
On the other hand, Kim Ki Soo stated after some time to overcome his past hardships, he will return back to the entertainment world and give everyone laughs once again.

On April 14th, the reporters of SBS’s “One Night in TV Entertainment” visited the set of Victoria andSulli’s CF shoot for “Smoothie King“.
When asked by reporter Kim Byung Ryong to make a facial expression that they were most confident in, Sulli gave a bright, sweet smile befitting of her age. Hilariously, Victoria just stared blankly at the camera before explaining with a laugh, “I’m most confident in my blank face.”
Discussing their upcoming “Pinocchio” return, Sulli stated, “I want to stand on stage soon. We’ll be seeing you in a bit!”. Victoria added, “Please wait for our new album!”

On April 14th, reporters of SBS’s “One Night in TV Entertainment” visited the set of Han Ye Seul andSong Seung Hun’s latest CF recording, and interviewed the two actors on their recent whereabouts.

When asked by the reporter when they would like to get married, Song Seung Hun replied, “If I had a person I loved, I’d be willing to get married tomorrow.”
Han Ye Seul added, “Me too! If I had a person I loved, I’d skip all of the dating and just go straight to the marriage. I’m a woman, you know.. Of course I have thoughts of marriage. It’s definite.”
When asked whether she’d be getting married within the year, she replied, “Hmm, maybe there will be good news soon… I’ll tell you if there is good news soon.”
The reporter then suggested that she date Song Seung Hun since they have similar views on marriage. Hilariously, the actress replied, “He’s handsome, talented, and gentle, but he’s different from my ideal man because he does not love me.”
Han Ye Seul also went on to express that she’d like for Song Seung Hun to step away from the gentle, handsome roles that he usually took on by playing the role of a beggar.
Due to the unfortunate editing in the episode, fans were confused as to whether Han Ye Seul actually had plans for marriage this year or not. During her response to the question, the show had added the caption,“Goal for the year is marriage”, onto the screen.
A representative of Sidus HQ cleared up the confusion up by revealing, “The broadcast stating that Han Ye Seul will be getting married within the year is not true. The way the episode was edited, Han Ye Seul seemed as if she actually had marriage plans to announce, but she merely expressed that she had hopes of getting married.”

Thanks to his many dramas and movies, the public got to see actor Kwon Sang Woo deliver numerous personas, such as the tough guy, the luckless romantic, and the lone wolf. Recently however, an interview with SBS’s “Night TV Entertainment” revealed a side that hardly anyone got to see.


“Night TV Entertainment” contacted Kwon to follow-up on his activities after his last project, “Daemul“. While being interviewed, Kwon proudly showed off his son, Kwon Luke, and revealed that he loves being a dad. The actor confessed, ”I’ve made fermented bean paste soup for Luke before.”
He added, “My wife sends me video clips to cheer me on,” and showed a clip of his son dancing. Luke is also on his cellphone wallpaper, and a sticker of his name is attached to the back of the phone.
The actor unabashedly admitted, “Everyday, I tell Luke I love him more than 10 times, like a habit. My dad passed away when I was little, so I always had a dream [of being a great father]. I want to be a Superman dad for Luke.”

On April 7th, SBS’s “One Night of TV Entertainment” revealed how actor Jo In Sung was spending his time in the military.

On this day, Jo In Sung suddenly appeared at a school, where he revealed, “I have about 28 days left in the military. I will finish up the remaining days to my best effort, and I hope to meet all of you with a great work after I get discharged.”
Jo In Sung also appeared at a classic performance hall. He was asked a series of questions, one asking about what his ideal woman was like. He answered, “I wish her to be pretty. I like both short and tall women. Basically, if the person is a woman, then I will like her.”
He also revealed a bit about his military life, “It is hard carrying heavy instruments. It is also hard to clean all the bathrooms. However, I feel as though I am doing my best while I am serving in the military.”
Jo In Sung will be discharged in May.

It looks like actress Lee Jenny returned to Korea with a feistier character!

The star took a break from the entertainment industry to work as a web designer in the States. After she came back to Korea, she was requested for an interview by SBS’s ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘.
During her segment, the host asked, , “Do you talk with celebrity friends often?“. She admitted, “I don’t have many close friends in the entertainment industry.”
Lee went on to say, “Truthfully, my personality is not very good. On television, my image is cute and charming, but in reality, I have no charm and can’t act cute, so I have difficulty making friends.
She also surprised by stating, “On top of that, I’m arrogant and rude. Isn’t everyone like that? No?
At least she’s honest about herself!

On March 24th, actor Kim Soo Hyun guested on SBS’s “One Night in TV Entertainment” and revealed himself to be a fan of gymnastics athlete, Son Yeon Jae.

He was told by the MCs, “Athlete Son Yeon Jae and miss A’s Suzy both chose you as their ideal guy,” to which he replied with a round of applause.
Previously, Son Yeon Jae had written on her Twitter, “I’m behind on watching ‘Dream High,’ but I’ve fallen so hard for ‘Sam Dong’!”
Kim Soo Hyun confessed, “I’m a fan of Son Yeon Jae as well.”
When asked to relay a short video message to her, he gave a serious face expression before stating, “Let’s have a meal together some time.”

On March 17th, actress Yoo In Na guested on SBS’s “One Night in TV Entertainment” and shared a childhood photo on their “Since When Were the Stars So Pretty?” corner.

MC Seo Kyung Suk asked, “Yoo In Na-ssi, since when were you so pretty?”, to which she honestly replied,“I don’t think I’m pretty even now.”
The MC laughed and surprised the actress by bringing out a photo from her childhood while saying, “I knew you’d say that, so I brought my own source!”
Asked to explain the picture, she described, “I wasn’t a pretty student.  Seeing a how I’m missing my front tooth in this picture, I think it was taken when I was nine years old.  I was just a brainy student that liked to go into a variety of different competitions.”
The MC concluded, “You did look quite clever, like the type that won’t have their lunch money taken from them!”

After School’s Kahi recently revealed how she maintains her nice abs!
On March 3rd, SBS’s “One Night of TV Entertainment” looked into the star method of obtaining the ‘ultimate body’, and they used Kahi as an example of perfect abs.
During the interview portion of the feature, Kahi revealed her methods on having nice abs, “I work out focusing more on my waist and bottom rather than on my abs. By doing so, the abs will shape nicely.”
While introducing Kahi though, “One Night of TV Entertainment” made the mistake of putting the subtitle of “Ga Ininstead of “Kahi”, leaving fans disappointed over the identification error.

Actress Ha Ji Won revealed her thoughts on past videos of herself.
On the 3rd, both Ha Ji Won and Psy had appeared on SBS’s “One Night of TV Entertainment” for an interview about their upcoming CF.
At that time, the reporter stated, “I heard Psy and Ha Ji Won did the song ‘Home Run’ together,” leaving Ha Ji Won lost for words.
Lately on the internet, videos of Ha Ji Won’s past stage performance and outfit have been garnering a lot of interest from netizens.
About that video, Ha Ji Won stated, “At that time, when I was on stage, I was not in my right mind. So, I do not remember a lot about that moment.”
