Hallyu star Lee Jun Ki has expressed his gratitude towards his Japanese fans.
Lee Jun Ki recently held a ‘High Touch (the Japanese version of High Five)’ event with 10,000 of his Japanese fans to celebrate the release of his new single ‘Deucer‘ at the Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal on March 22nd.
“I was a little nervous because I was away for two years, but the fans have been so loving and supportive during all of my events scheduled in Japan,” he said. ”That has all been a huge help to me and gave me strength to successfully conclude my events.”
He continued, “I’m so glad that I was able to meet and shake hands with each of my fans during my last day in Japan before heading back. I’m so grateful for each of them.”
And at a press conference that was held ahead of his ‘High Touch’ event, Lee Jun Ki expressed his thoughts on his ‘Coming Back‘ fan meets saying, “When I was in the army, I dreamt of meeting with my fans again, so I am very happy that my dream has come true.”
And in regards to ranking first on the Oricon charts, he remarked, “I wanted to show the fans who waited 2 long years for me that I had grown and developed during that time in the army, and I prepared this album thinking about wanting to share my happiness with them. I am not a singer, so I never even dreamed of ranking first on the Oricon charts and I am actually a bit embarrassed. I feel that ranking first was a gift from my fans and with that in mind, I will continue to do my best.”

Fans are already getting hyped up for Lee Jun Ki‘s comeback.
The actor is hard at work preparing for his upcoming fan meeting ‘Coming Back‘, in which he will showcase songs from his new single album ‘Deucer‘. With the event approaching closer, Lee Jun Ki has been practicing choreography for 9 hours a day.
This two and half to three hour Japan fan meeting will show how much Lee Jun Ki has grown during the two years of military service. He’s been practicing ever since his discharge.
Recently, rehearsal photos have surfaced showing Lee Jun Ki dripping with sweat while practicing for his fans.

His fan meeting will be held on coming 16th,18th, and 19th in various cities in Japan. He will be leaving Korea for Osaka on the 15th.

Hallyu star Lee Jun Ki, who was honorably discharged from the military on February 16th, will be releasing a new single in Japan entitled ‘Deucer‘.
The single album will include a track titled, “Together“, a song full of hope that’s sure to leave a strong impression on its listeners. The single album will also include four other tracks that Lee Jun Ki composed himself. Earlier today, a teaser for “Together” was revealed through Lee Jun Ki’s officialYouTube channel.
Lee Jun Ki will also be holding his Japan fan meet tour ‘COMING BACK‘ in March, covering major cities such as Nagoya on the 16th, Yokohama on the 18th, and Osaka on the 19th.

Top Hallyu actor Lee Jun Ki has reunited with his fans through a large event held on February 16th.
The fan meeting, titled ‘Reunion JG‘, was Lee Jun Ki’s first since his discharge from the army. Fans gathered from all over Asia to welcome back their favorite star.
Lee Jun Ki’s fan meeting consisted of song performances and a 90 minute talk session, where he shared stories from his time in the army as well as his plans for upcoming projects.
It was rumored that Lee himself planned the event, and to top it all off, he gave chocolates as well as handshakes to all 1,500 fans who attended.
A representative of the event said, “Due to the handshake event, the fan meeting lasted for almost four hours, but Lee Jun Ki was full of energy and looked very happy throughout it all.”

His agency remarked on the 6th, “Lee Jun Ki is being discharged, and he is both healthy and happy. He will be working hard to greet his fans once again with a refreshed passion for acting in his newest projects.”
In the military, Lee Jun Ki has been serving as a public relations support individual at the Defense Agency for Public Information Services, as well as holding MC duties for ‘Encouragement Train‘, a program broadcasted for Korean soldiers.
On the day of his discharge, Lee Jun Ki will be holding a special ‘Reunion JG‘ fan-meet event for his fans in Seoul at 3:00PM KST, and tickets for this event sold out within 60 seconds of going on sale.

Actor Lee Jun Ki, who is currently gearing up towards his military service completion in February 2012, will be appearing on the small screen through a drama series after two years.
It’s been told that Lee Jun Ki has been working closely with his long-time manager to set up his schedules after his discharge. They are currently in the talks of arranging a large fan meeting in Japan.
Lee Jun Ki’s official date of discharge as a sergeant has been confirmed for February 16th next year. The actor has chosen not to give himself time off to adjust and will instead dive straight back into his regular acting schedules.
There are still three months left until his official discharge; however, the popular actor has already received over ten proposals as leads for both upcoming movies and TV drama series.
As a way to ease back into the entertainment industry, Lee Jun Ki chose his first drama series to be one that will allow him show an image that is most familiar to his fans and mass public.
Lee Jun Ki will also be directly involved with the planning and structure of his large scale fan meeting in Japan.

On October 20th, Lee Jun Ki‘s agency reported that their star actor has been receiving lots of offers for drama’s and CFs despite still being in the army. He is set to be discharged on February 16, 2012.
Not only has he been receiving offers for Korean dramas, but also dramas overseas, and even various movie roles. The company is currently carefully reviewing each offer.
On October 17th, Lee Jun Ki wrote on his official website that more than anything he wanted to quickly meet his Korean fans, as well as his fans overseas, who have been patiently waiting for him since he first enlisted in the army back on May 3, 2010.
Lee Jun Ki is a hallyu actor who is popular in America, France, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Latin America, and more than 20 countries around the world.
A representative from his agency stated, “We knew about his fans in Asia but we were shocked to find out that he has fans from far away places. We will wait and celebrate together with the fans when Lee Jun Ki is discharged”.

Actor Lee Jun Ki praised singer / entertainer Boom who is once again active in the entertainment scene immediately after he was discharged from the military.
Lee Jun Ki was at a special event put on by a radio program at the War Memorial Peace Plaza, and sat down with tvN to conduct an interview before the event began. He said, “I saw Boom on TV, and he’s definitely a good entertainer. We had some good times in the military together. He’s an entertainer so he’s definitely fun to talk to… On TV, he always thoughtfully mentions all of us that were in the military with him.”
He continued, “I really hope he succeeds and does well.” His close relationship with Boom was obvious and actor Lee Dong Gun who was also at the event additionally commented, “We’re all cheering for Boom“.
The event celebrated the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the armed forces and was split into two segments- a music performance for the first half, and a show for the second. Lee Dong Gun & Lee Junki hosted the event along with Yun Sung Kyung, Park Hyosin & Mithra Jin from Epik High were a few of the performers who took the stage. Singer Psy who was discharged in 2009 was also in attendance, making the event more meaningful.

Currently enlisted with Korea’s military service, actor Lee Junki recently pitched in to aid with flood recovery operations.
On July 28th, the Defense Media Agency posted a message on their blog under the title, “Promotional support crew on-site for flood recovery”, along with several photos of Korea’s servicemen assisting in flood relief efforts.
The Defense Media Agency said, “To help restore The National Center for Korean Traditional Performing Arts (NCKTPA) from the effects of the flood, we sent support to the foot of Woomyun Mountain.”
In their photos, the promotional crew is seen doing what they can to help the relief effort. Lee Junki was spotted in a couple of the photos, drawing mass attention from netizens.
They commented, “Everyone is going through a hard time”, “It would be great if the recovery operations were completed soon”, “[Lee Junki] always shows a sincere image”, and “Be careful of poor weather conditions and be strong.”
Lee Junki is scheduled to return from the army in early 2012.

Actor Lee Junki who is currently serving in the military recently showed off his V-line face.
On July 9th, the popular actor tweeted,
“Greeting you all for the first time in a long time, salute! I’ve come out on leave for a short 3 days and 2 nights, I need to use up the time wisely~ but it’s pouring rain. I think I might stay home until I have to return, hahaha“
In the picture, Lee Junki can be seen with short hair, fair skin, and a sharp V-line. He also released a profile picture of himself wearing his military outfit, accentuating his unique features even more.

Back in May of 2010, Lee Junki enlisted for his mandatory military service. He’s scheduled to be discharged from the military in February of 2012.

On April 18th, actor Lee Jun Ki, who’s currently serving in the army, greeted his fans during his last break with a picture of his new uniform.
Posting through his official Twitter, the actor wrote:
“Hello, this is private first class Lee Jun Ki, who is currently awaiting his promotion as a corporal. Attention!Have you all been well? It’s been a while since I’ve received a break, but I’m currently spending my final break as a private first class right now. Having come out into the world again after such a long time, I’m finding it difficult to adjust. Seems like the world is going on just fine.While serving, your unchanging love for me has become a great source of strength. Today (the 17th) was my birthday, but as I am a soldier, I was not able to return all of the support you have shown me today. I feel very apologetic for that.
Thank you for remembering every year. Thank you so, so much.”
