The “Sharing Plus Festival” is co-run by Spoon and the Ministry of Health and Welfare; it aims to raise awareness and support the less fortunate by promoting volunteer work. This year, the festival was run under the theme of ‘giving hope to children’ and highlighted various children suffering from illnesses and other misfortunes for people to lend their support to.
KBS commented, “Through this event, we hope that we are able to become a stepping stone towards creating a healthy and happy society by promoting sharing and charity.”
Performances in the opening ceremony on the 14th included K-Will, Girl’s Day, Jang Yoon Jung, Wheesung, 4minute, SG Wannabe, Kim Tae Woo, TVXQ, and Byun Jin Sub. The line-up for the Open Music Concert on the 17th will include Clover and Park Sang Min.
