“I’m so glad to become an MC for a music program, which was something that I had always wanted to do,” Hyeri revealed. “I will become an MC who will make ‘The Show’ even better.”
“She was born with MC talents,” revealed a producer who witnessed her performance.

Him Chan (which means ‘full of strength’ in Korean) is a rookie singer under TS Entertainment, and will be making his public debut through the program. His entertainment company has also revealed that he will be participating in a soon-to-debut boy group along with fellow labelmate Bang Yong Gook, who drew attention for his debut song, “I Remember“.
Fluent in handling traditional Korean instruments, Him Chan gained praise for his expert skills at Gukak National High School, a specialized school which focuses on the traditional art of Korean music.
“Although he felt pressured by showing off his personal talents as a debut artist, the producers praised him for showing exceptional MCing skills,” TS Entertainment revealed.
The first episode of ‘The Show’ featuring Him Chan will be broadcast on the 26th.

On July 8th, Block B and B1A4 guested on MTV’s ‘The Show‘ and were briefly interviewed on their summer survival tips.
The two groups are currently co-starring in their own reality program, ‘Match Up‘, and are known for their contrasting personalities. B1A4 gave some four-dimensional responses like telling fans to shower in hot water, to which Block B’s P.O. retorted, “You have to shower with cold water!”
Sandeul also suggested finding a cold wall to lay against while Baro and Gongchan suggested cold food items like watermelon and shaved ice.
Kyung brought out the envy of fans by saying, “The best way to survive the heat is to go to the beach and play with the nunas.”

6 April:
The music show will be featuring a slew of popular artists performing under different themes for each episode; spotlighted artists will be performing under the standard titles of ‘Hot Artist,’ ‘Super Rookie,’ and ‘Comeback Singer.’ The program will also be making use of their ‘MTV Asia Chart‘ to present hit tracks from different Asian countries.
The most unique concept of the show, however, will be a ‘Special Unit’ that asks artists to team up outside of their own groups for fun performances that MTV hopes will set its show apart from others.
The fixed hosts for the show are SECRET’s Hyosung and f(x)’s Luna, and they will be the first up to perform as a special unit. The two commented, “We’ve always wanted to try MCing for music programs, so we’re glad to have received the opportunity. We’ll be working hard to turn this into the best music program.”
The first recording will be held on April 12th, and will feature a total of 15 artists including Kim Tae Woo, Wheesung, Rainbow, Clover, Kim Hyung Joon, and Tony An.
The pilot episode will air on the 15th at 7:30 PM KST through the global MTV channel network.
