After promoting “La Vida Loca“, hip hop project group trio Clover is making a return on the M! Countdown stage with their follow-up song, “Ice Trim“.
The group enjoyed much success with their debut track, “La Vida Loca”, ranking in on various music charts and being acknowledged for their unique musical style. This time, they’ll be promoting a slightly more upbeat song that still embodies the style they’re known for.
The song is noted amongst netizens for being Gilme’s playful diss track against Eun Ji Won, as it contains the lyrics, “Please let go of my contract.”
Gilme is housed under GYM Entertainment, a label run by CEO Eun Ji Won.
The song’s title itself is a play on words, as ‘burp (trim)’ and ‘cream’ are just one letter off in Korean.
Both the title and lyrics are said to be an expression of their ruthless style, “As it takes guts to be able to burp in public and not care.”

After a long hiatus, Alex is back with his second album, titled “Just Like Me”, and he’s performing his title track, “Can’t Be Crazy“, on today’s episode of Mnet’s M! Countdown.
The album is the culmination of three years of hard work and features the maturity his musical style has undergone in the process. Known for his smooth, romantic image, the tracks aim to bring out a bit of a masculine charm.
His title track, “Can’t Be Crazy”, is the work of famous composer Lel, and is about a sad story of an abandoned man approaching his lost love once more with wounds still in his heart. As it features a power, addictive melody, the song will surely be on repeat for music fans.

Code V is finally back on M! Countdown with their brand new album and title song of the same name, “Honestly“.
Back in June of 2010, Code V made their return to the K-pop scene with “Addiction“. The group had originally debuted in 2007 under the name Bless, but suffered from poor sales and lack of promotion. Unfortunately, their comeback results in June were sub-par, and leader Taemin left the group in August. In October though, the group found a replacement for the departed Taemin in Seo Min Ho.
Their title song, “Honestly“, is a classic K-pop throwback to the old school way of singing R&B music. The calm ballad features every detail of R&B to a T; from the strings, to the hard hits of a real kick drum, and even a little flair here and there of an electric guitar.
