5 Mar:
On March 3rd, B2ST arrived at Singapore EXPO’s MAX Pavilion to successfully finish their 4th concert for their 21-city world tour ‘Beautiful Show‘.
B2ST has already completed their concerts for Seoul, Berlin, and Shanghai. The 4th concert held in beautiful Singapore began with B2ST’s “Special” that hyped up the 5,500 jubilant fans that filled up the concert hall. The members stole the show by performing a total of 24 songs for two-and-a-half hours, including hits like “Soom (Breath)“, “Shock“, “Beautiful“, and ”Fiction“.
On the day of the concert, fans from all over Asia arrived at the concert hall early morning despite the hot weather at 32 degrees Celsius. Fans had to wait in a unbelievably long line to purchase ‘Beautiful Show’-related items and souvenirs that eventually ran out within 30 minutes.
Before the concert started, numerous news reporters from all over Asia, including the Philippines, Hong Kong, and China came to report this incredible event held in Singapore. All of these various news media reported about the high-quality performances shown at the ‘Beautiful Show’ and how the talented members of B2ST are gaining massive attention and love from not only Asia, but also from South America and Europe. Furthermore, Singapore’s highest-selling paper ‘The Straits Times’ included a special news article in last week’s issue about the high expectations for B2ST’s ’Beautiful Show’.
On the day of the concert, not only Singaporean fans came to watch their idol group, but also fans from the Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Malaysia showed up to support the members, proving B2ST’s rising popularity as a global idol group. The majority of the fans that filled up the concert hall sang along to most of the songs chanting the names of the members until the very end of the concert.
Chris (22), who is currently studying applied music in Singapore, claimed that he was able to take interest in K-Pop and Korean culture through learning about B2ST and listening to their music. Chris currently has a K-Pop blog with over a thousand subscribing each day. He said, “I learned about B2ST even before they had their debut, and I am really happy by the fact that they are having a world tour in various cities including Singapore. I really want to start a business that is related to K-Pop and its current influence in Asia. I believe that K-Pop singers like B2ST are uniting Asia as a whole through their music.”
Via (28), who came all the way from Indonesia, said, “I am aware that there will be a ‘Beautiful Show’ at Jakarta two weeks later, but I decided to attend the concert in Singapore because I really wanted to see B2ST as soon as possible. Indonesian B2UTYs made a song for B2ST, which currently has over 20,000 views on YouTube. Also, Indonesian fans are preparing a special event for the ‘Beautiful Show’ in two weeks!” On this day, Via and five other fans spontaneously gave out free hand-fans that had images of B2ST members on them.
One associate of a Singaporean music channel claimed, “Singapore has been crazy about B2ST since their debut. The fact that the rate at which B2ST grew in Korea is directly correlated to the rate at which B2ST’s popularity rose in Asia shows the tremendous power of K-Pop. After watching today’s concert, I am truly looking forward to the future of B2ST.”
B2ST’s leader Doojoon told his fans, “I’ve been to Singapore several times, but it was always sad to leave after staying for only a short while. I am really happy by the fact that we successfully finished our first solo concert in Singapore. The crowds and the concert hall was heated up as much as the hot weather!”
Currently, B2ST has successfully finished four concerts for their 21-city world tour in front of over 36,000 fans and will continue to embark on various countries including Indonesia and Japan. This world tour will certainly mean a lot to B2ST and their fans, as the ‘Beautiful Show’ proves the group’s growing status as a ‘global’ idol group. This world tour will also contribute to spreading the hype for K-Pop and also to acknowledge the millions of fans around the world.
B2ST has only been through four countries, but the post-reactions and hype already seems to be incredible. There are more concerts to come and a long journey awaits B2ST, so put your seat-belts on because this is only the beginning.

21 Feb:
A few days back, B2ST unveiled a special music video for “Mystery“, a song from their 2009 album ‘B2ST is the Best‘. It’s just been revealed that the video hit #1 on popular Chinese music site, Yin Yue Tai, for the third week of February!
“Mystery” was a very popular track upon its release, and helped propel B2ST to stardom. The music video that topped the Yin Yue Tai chart was a special edition video made specially for B2ST’s “Beautiful Show” world tour. It was publicly released on Valentine’s Day due to overwhelming fan requests after its initial unveiling at their Seoul concert.
This #1 ranking is significant for B2ST since it represents strong overseas interest in the group. The boys can now progress confidently towards preparations for their upcoming performances in China.
In related news, B2ST will be performing the Chinese leg of their world tour with the “Beautiful Show in Shanghai” at the Shanghai International Gymnastics Center. The performance, which will be held on February 25th, follows successful concerts in Seoul and Berlin.

“Ich liebe dich, Berlin (I love you, Berlin)!”
B2ST wrapped up a successful show at their second ‘Beautiful Show‘ tour performance which took place at ‘Columbia Halle’ in Berlin, Germany.
Their agency Cube Entertainment stated on February 13th, “There were 3,000 fans in total at this show, including fans from not only Germany, but also France, Switzerland, England, Spain, the Czech Republic, and more. There were over 20 fans that waited outside the venue since the night before, even though the weather was below freezing. Because of this, the police and paramedics were standing by at the location, in case of an emergency.”
B2ST performed a variety of songs that night, including their hits “Special“, “Breath“, “Shock“, “I Knew It“, and more, and the fans responded by showing their explosive support with loud cheers.
A fan by the name of Jennifer (19) who traveled four hours from Düsseldorf to Berlin in order to see the boys perform remarked, “I have been a fan of B2ST since their debut, and I have waited a long time for this day to come. I have gotten to know K-pop through B2ST, and I had no idea they would come to Germany so quickly through their World Tour. I’m so happy.”
Alexandra (26) who traveled from Hungary could not hold back her excitement as she said, “It was the greatest performance ever. B2ST’s strength is being able to sing so well while never missing a step of the dance.”
Sharla (19) was the lucky fan selected to participate in B2ST’s special propose event, and in between tears she managed to say, “I will never be able to forget this day for the rest of my life.”
B2ST member Yoon Doojoon remarked, “I’m so glad we were able to put on an independent concert in Europe through our world tour. This is only the beginning, but I hope that we will eventually be able to travel to all the different countries where our fans reside.”
There were a lot of local media outlets that were present at the venue, including German television channel ZDF, and German news agency DPA. They analyzed the appeals of boy group B2ST who is at the forefront of the current Hallyu wave, and asked in-depth questions regarding the outlook and strategies of K-pop.
In related news, the boys will be heading to Shanghai next to perform on the 25th.
Although B2ST‘s hit song “Mystery” was originally released in 2009, the group had never released a music video for this song — until now.
B2ST premiered this special MV during their ‘Beautiful Show‘ world tour concert in Seoul. The video was played in lieu of the group’s actual performance of the song, ending with the word “EASY” as the introduction to their next song in the lineup.
The video features clips of the boys fingerbreaking and fingerboarding. (Yes, fingerboarding.) Is B2ST trying to revive the great trend of the late ’90s?
In any case, it’s resulted in a great gift for fans — just in time for Valentine’s Day. Check out their music video below!

Although this is their third solo concert, it marks the beginning of their very first world tour. The members performed a total of 27 songs, stunning the crowd with their live vocals and dance skills. Many fans agreed that while B2ST electrified with their dance numbers, it was their ballads that stole the show.
The concert began with exciting hits like “Special”, “Soom”, and “Shock”, followed by a rock version of “Lights Go On Again”. The opening set then gave way to B2ST’s other songs, including their latest tracks “I Knew It” and Junhyung‘s solo, “Living Without You”.
The members put on individual performances as well. Yoseob sang “Mom”, the song he performed on ‘Immortal Song 2‘, while Doojoon and Dongwoon collaborated for “When the Door Closes”.
Kikwang and Hyunseung also performed a slow-tempo track called “Let It Snow”, driving fans wild with its high melody, sexy choreography, fireworks, confetti, and a flash of skin.
Yoseob and Junhyung then emerged on a giant mirror ball, and flew over the audience during “Thanks To”.
The members reunited for “Edelweiss”, during which they invited a female fan onto the stage and presented her with songs and a teddy bear.
A parade of hit after hit followed, and the show was finally brought to a close with “Beautiful” and“VIU”.
The members said goodbye to the fans as they thanked them for attending the concert:
Yoseob: “I was so excited I couldn’t sleep yesterday. I want to thank everyone who came today.”
Dongwoon: “It’s been a year since we were last here at Olympic Park. Since the nature of being a singer is so unpredictable, I wondered if I would be able to stand on this stage again — but we were here today, and I want to thank all the fans.”
Kikwang: “I want to thank you all for filling up the seats like this. I hurt my ankle, so I hadn’t been able to show you much of myself on stage. Today, I wrapped a bandage around my ankle and stood on stage for you all. I’m really thankful.”
Doojoon: “Last year when we performed here, I hoped to be able to stand on this stage again. I’m so happy that it has come true.”
In addition to all the fans, girl group A Pink and actor Lee Hyun Woo were also spotted in the audience.

On September 16th and 17th, idol group B2ST held their ‘Promise Event’ with 5,000 fans in Tokyo and Osaka to commemorate the release of their 1st official Japanese album, ‘So Beast’.
‘So Beast’ reached #2 on the Oricon daily chart immediately after its release, and a lottery was held for invitations to the event for those who purchased the album.
When B2ST made their appearance at the Tokyo Shibuya AX Hall on the 16th, fans screamed non-stop with excitement, promising a good start to the event.
During the members’ introduction segment, expressions of concern for Yoon Doojoon’s knee injury came up, as many thought that he should be resting at home. But Doojoon put them at ease with a gentle smile, saying, “I’m excited for this event because I can see our fans up-close like friends”.
During the ‘Promise Event’, fans were given a chance to greet the members face-to-face by entering individual booths that housed a mysterious member. The idea of having some alone time with a mysterious member was an innovative idea that further heightened the air of happiness and anticipation in the hall.
In the original plan, the members were supposed to put a band, engraved with ‘So Beast’ and the members’ names, around fans’ wrists. However the members decided to change up the event to include a pinky promise with each fan as if to say, ‘Let’s meet again‘. Fans were overcome with emotion at this gesture, and couldn’t hold back their tears.
Mika (22) from Nagoya stated, “I was shaking while I was waiting. As soon as I entered the booth, Doojoon smiled as he brought over the band. At that moment, tears poured out. I was so worried after hearing he was ill, but I was so touched at seeing him greet us with a bright smile and watching the members take care of each other.”
B2ST has become the first non-Japanese boy group in Japan to achieve a ‘TOP 3′ record three consecutive times, right after their debut.

After concluding with their “Fiction” promotions on SBS’s “Inkigayo“, the boys of B2ST are now preparing for their Japanese promotions.
Although it was a short cycle, it’s definitely been one heck of a ride for these boys, as they’ve managed to land a total of eight trophies in just one month. Not only that, but they’ve also achieved their first triple crown on Mnet “M! Countdown.”
They’ve been thanking fans all throughout their promotion cycle, but they didn’t forget to thank them one last time before heading off to focus on Japan.
Through Star News, leader Doojoon said, “We were able to receive eight trophies in a month all thanks to our fans. Over 1,500 fans came to our first broadcast, and they’ve been with us until our final stage today, so thank you. I’m proud of all of our members for working hard.”
Maknae Dongwoon continued, “We achieved a triple crown for the first time since our debut, and our fancafe has also gotten over 200,000 fans. Since it was our first album, we felt more pressured and worried, but we feel that our fans gave us a lot of love. It was a month that felt like a good dream.”
When asked about their upcoming international activities, Yoseob replied, “We’ll be starting our Japanese promotions as well as our Asian fan meet tour, so we’re all waiting to meet our fans. We are preparing with hopes of showing a better image.”
To celebrate the successful promotions of their latest album “Fiction and Fact“, the members of B2SThave prepared a heartwarming surprise for their fans.
Over 1,000 fans gathered to bid the boys farewell on the June 19th episode of SBS’s “Inkigayo“, and each of them received a special present from the boys themselves. The members wanted to repay all the love they’ve received during their promotions, and decided to give a ’support gift’ of their own to their fans.
Fanclubs in Korea are known for coming up with lavish ’support ideas’, like buying their groups lunch baskets and snacks for both the members and staff, often with special stickers pasted on to represent their fanclub. The boys were inspired by the idea, and so they prepared 1,000 drinks with personally designed stickers like, “God Dongwoon’s Surprise Attack” and “Paid For by Chief Yoon.”
Surprised fans commented back, “How is it possible to not like them when they do fan service like this”, and “B2ST loves their fans so much!”
The boys concluded, “The past month has been like a dream to us thanks to all of the best love sent to us by our fans. Thank you so much for making us so happy right up until the last broadcast.”
