United Cube Concert

7 December:
On December 5th, Cube Entertainment and its artists held a press conference with overseas media outlets like the Guardian, BBC, AP, and Reuter as well as other Korean media representatives for the‘United Cube Concert’ in London.

Over 70 press associates attended the conference, and almost all of them stayed until the very end to witness the concert in its entirety. They also lingered after the concert to check up on the reactions of the fans and requested to interview 4minute, B2ST, and G.NA.
Guardian journalist Adrian stated, “This is the first time that a K-pop concert this big is being held. I think that today’s concert will bring about much spread of K-Pop not only in England, but all over Europe.” He also revealed that he was ’100% sure’ of K-Pop’s success.
Jim Reed, a famous DJ from BBC Radio, also tweeted about how K-Pop’s popularity was much greater than he had originally thought, and described its popularity as “absolutely mad”.
4minute, B2ST, and G.NA enjoyed a wild response to their family concert at the Brixton Academy in London, and they’re looking to find that same response at their next concert in Brazil.

2 November:

South American fans will be delighted to hear that 4minuteB2STand G.NA will soon be touching down at Brazil.
Cube Entertainment revealed on November 2nd that the United Cube Concert‘ will be making history by holding the highly anticipated event in South America.
Cube Entertainment has joined hands with CJ E&M, and plans to hold the concert at Sao Paulo, Brazil at the ‘Espaço das Americas, Sao Paulo’ on December 13th.
The concert tour kicked off earlier in Japan during August and brought in 10,000 spectators, and will be followed by London on December 6th (Korean time, December 5th in England).
B2ST commented, “We regretted not being able to meet the many fans in South America before, but now we will finally be setting foot on Brazilian soil. It’s an honor to hold the first ever K-POP concert in South America… As the first K-POP concert, we will showcase high quality performances to match the expectations of South American fans.”
Cube Entertainment stated, “It’s known that South American fans highly enjoy music. ‘United Cube Concert’ will be the first opportunity for them to enjoy K-POP on a three-dimensional level… Please look forward to the 4minute, B2ST, and G.NA’s first South American performances.”

31 October:

tickets for ‘United Cube in London‘ would start selling at the end of October. Fans won’t have to wait on pins and needles anymore, as Live Nation officially kicked off ticket sales for London’s first K-Pop concert.
General admission tickets begin at £65.00, and the event will be held at the O2 Academy in Brixton, South London. The Brixton Academy is known for being one of the biggest non-arena venues in London, and it’s attracted a bevy of world-class performers like MadonnaArcade Fire, Sex Pistols, and Bob Dylan. Now it’s G.NA4minute, and B2ST‘s turn to rock the hall and deliver a concert that London will never forget.
Doojoonthe leader of B2ST, stated, “We’re already excited thinking about performing at a place where many artists that we look up to have performed at before. As the starting point [of a venture into Europe], we will prepare a concert in England that will be unforgettable to everyone.”
‘United Cube in London’ will take place on December 5th at 7:30 PM .

19 October:
Earlier this year, Cube Entertainment announced plans to hold a concert in London during November which were later delayed due to riots that were going on in England. This crushed the hopes of many fans, but there is no need for despair, because Cube Entertainment has confirmed to allkpop that the United Cube Concert will be touching down in London this December!

Cube Entertainment will hold two ‘United Cube in London’ concerts starting on December 6th at the O2 Brixton Academy.
The concert plans to show off what k-pop has to offer through the dynamic performances of 4minute,B2STand G.NA, through two segments, and capture the hearts of 10,000 European fans.
O2 Brixton Academy has been the home to many legendary performances from Madonna, Bob Dylan, Marilyn Manson, Rihanna, etc. Cube artists will be the first Asian artist to perform at the facility.
In addition, ‘United Cube in London’ has also joined hands with the famous live-events company, Live Nation. This is drawing fans’ interests for this will be the first time Live Nation will be organizing an event with Kpop artists.
Cube Entertainment was able to experience the popularity of k-pop first hand when they were invited to the ‘Thames Festival’ in England during September.
‘United Cube Concert’ which kicked off in Seoul in August and then in Tokyo, will be branching out into Europe through their concert in London this December.
Cube Entertainment stated, “‘United Cube Concert’s venture into London, the birthplace of pop and rock, during the beginning of the Kpop movement is especially meaningful and something to be proud of… This will be an opportunity to ignite the flame of Kpop which has gone beyond the boundaries of the digital silk road.”
Doojoon, the leader of B2ST, stated, “For all the European fans who have been waiting, we are so glad that this concert in England has been confirmed… We are already excited thinking about performing at a place where many artists that we look up to, have performed. As the starting point [of a venture into Europe], we will prepare a concert in England that will be unforgettable to everyone.”
The tickets for ‘United Cube in London’, the first Kpop concert in London, will be sold on Live Nation’s homepage (www.livenation.com) at the end of October. Details about ticket sales will be revealed through Live Nation’s homepage and Cube Entertainment’s official site.

The artists of Cube Entertainment held a family concert on August 25th at the Nippon Budokan. Prior to the start of their ‘United Cube in Japan‘ concert, the artists met the Japanese media.
B2ST leader Doojoon commented, “We heard that it’s very difficult to be able to hold a concert at the Nippon Budokan. We are very thankful to be able to hold a concert at such a venue“.
Meanwhile 4minute’s leader Jihyun commented, “I’m so happy to be able to have a concert abroad with the CUBE family“.
The concert series was first held in Korea on August 14th, bringing in a total of 8,500 fans. The Japan concert was the second leg in the series and brought in a total of 9,500 fans. Each group made a comment about the event during the pre-concert press conference: “We are going to do our best to deliver a spectacular show today” (B2ST); “Please look forward to our fun comments in between songs” (4minute); “I’m a bit nervous but please look forward to our show” (G.NA).
On top of that, B2ST’s Dongwoon remarked, “Today I’m sporting the Changmin hairstyle becauseTohoshinki is very popular in Japan“.
The concert kicked off with 4minute’s popular single, “Muzik“, followed by their hit song “Mirror Mirror“. The girls impressed fans with their powerful and sexy dance moves.
Following up, G.NA came out and showcased her cute charms and glamorous appeal by performing a total of six songs. She then treated everyone to something special by singing her new song “Top Girl” for the first time in front of an audience.
Although 4minute and G.NA rocked it out, the undeniable highlight of the concert was with B2ST. They performed their debut single “SHOCK” as well as “FICTION“, which was used as the main theme song for Watanabe Ken’s new movie ‘Shanghai‘.
Fans were also treated to special collaboration stages between the Cube Entertainment artists. The 2.5 hour concert ended with all the artists singing “Fly So High” together.
The third stop for “UNITED CUBE” is scheduled to be in London on November 19th. Cube Entertainment definitely has its eyes set on the global market.

A Pink’s rehearsal for ‘United Cube Concert’ has been gaining much attention recently. The girls fell many times throughout the rehearsal causing much laughter amongst viewers.
The stage had been inundated with rain earlier that day and caused the group to slip throughout their rehearsal. Video footage of the rehearsal was uploaded on the official A CUBE YouTube channel, showing member Son Naeun falling and laughing only to be followed soon after by Oh Hayoung andYoon Bomi. Check out the girls’ slip ups in the video below!

After successfully concluding their first-ever ‘United Cube‘ concert ‘Fantasy Land‘, the artists of Cube Entertainment - B2STG.NA, and 4minute – had much to say about their experiences and reflections.
“Even though this concert is only a small start, it is a giant first step so we will perform happily,” said B2ST’s Doojoon“Although the beginning is weak, the finish will be amazing,” he added.
Kikwang was hosting SBS’s Inkigayo and did not attend the press conference.
For the girls of 4minute, who haven’t held a single concert since their debut in 2009, the ‘United Cube’ concert was a particularly special moment. “After building experience with this collaboration concert, we’d like to show off our improved skills through our own solo concert,” revealed 4minute’s HyunA.
“Our concert’s strong point was that we had separate teams that each showed their own unique performance,” commented 4minute’s Jihyun“We’d like to go perform at places that our fans want us to be at, such as Germany.”

Although holding a family concert had its benefits, B2ST’s Yoseob also revealed several downsides.“Unlike at our solo concert, it was hard trying to match schedules with 4minute and G.NA,” he said.
G.NA, the concert’s only solo artist, said that she felt pleased to take part in the show. “I’m just happy to be performing with 4minute and B2ST,” she said. “Everyone worked hard to be here. We’ll work even harder for our fans who’ve loved us so much.”
The concert drew an estimated 8,500 people and also guest starred Huh GakA Pink, and Mario. After packing up in Seoul, the concert will travel to Tokyo’s Budokan arena on August 25th; the tour was also scheduled to hit up London’s Wimbledon Arena on November 19th, however, due to the recent riots,Cube expressed that they were closely monitoring the situation before finalizing any details.
But foreign K-Pop fans can look forward to other possible Cube concerts outside of London.
“We had concert planning representatives from Paraguay, Russia, and Finland at the Seoul concert,”revealed a Cube representative. “We anticipate good news from them when they return home.”

With 2 days left until the United Cube Concert, Cube Entertainment told allkpop that 3 special family guests will be attending.

Cube told us, “This coming 14th at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium, United Cube Concert will take place and our 3 special family guests, A Pink, Huh Gak and Mario will also perform on stage.”
All of the A Cube artists, in addition to Cube Entertainment’s 4minute, B2ST and G.NA coming together on the same stage, is sure to excite fans.
A Pink stated, “It is our first time to perform as guests at a concert since our debut. Prior to our debut, we received so much help from our senior family members, and to be invited to our seniors’ concert is so meaningful. We are extremely happy.”

Cube Entertainment, the record label that’s home to talented artists such as 4minute, B2ST, andG.NA has just unveiled the third episode of their ‘Fantasy Land‘ teasers for their upcoming family concert!
In the video all the talented Cube artists get together singing, “We Are the World, We are the Children“. Unfortunately, they don’t know the rest of the lyrics so they just keep repeating the chorus.
The “United Cube Concert” will take place on August 14th.

For the first time since they announced their family concert, “United Cube Concert“, Cube Entertainment has updated their official homepage with the opening of the “United Cube” page, where they also revealed the program list.
The site opens with clickable bubbles that reveals information about the concert once popped. It’s an exceptional case for a concert to reveal the full set list ahead of its run, but Cube is confident that they still have plenty left for fans to anticipate for.
There are a variety of pre-concert events planned, like the ‘Cube Outfit Exhibit’, a historic display of the outfits worn by 4minuteB2ST, and G.NA. The ‘Cuberian Museum’ also showcases the various works done by fans, and there’s also a mini-corner for fans to hold their own mini-concert talent show.
Fans will also be able to decide a portion of the concert themselves with a pre-concert survey. The survey will ask fans which stage they would like to see as upclose as possible, and arrangements will be made accordingly. The concert opens on August 14th, so stay tuned for more updates!

Further expanding on our previous article of Cube Entertainment planning possible concert dates for Europe and South America, it’s been reported that Cube Entertainment artists 4MinuteB2ST, andG.NA are planning a joint concert in London, England this November.
This decision was made by Cube following a successful joint concert held last month in Paris by SM Entertainment featuring artists such as SNSD, and TVXQ.
An associate of Cube Entertainment said, “We’re aiming to hold the Cube concert in London, England this upcoming November“. But before the possible concert in England, Cube Entertainment will be holding a concert titled, “United Cube” in Jamsil’s general Stadium in Seoul on August 14th.
In addition, it was allegedly reported that Cube Entertainment is also planning on holding a concert in Brazil as well. The concert in both UK and Brazil were primarily requested by local promoters and recent flash mobs created by European and as well as American fans had a great impact in sealing the deal.
Meanwhile, fans in England are holding a flash mob event on the 9th, at 3PM, at Trafalgar Square, London in hopes for a Big Bang and 2NE1 concert.

After announcing an additional concert date in Japan for their “United Cube Concert” yesterday, Cube Entertainment has revealed that they’re considering concerts in Europe and South America.
Ever since Cube announced the launching of their very own brand concert last month, they’ve been receiving ceaseless questions and offers from Europe. They’ve finally begun to take a detailed look at the situation, and started to adjust schedules to make it work.
One representative revealed, “We’ve set a goal of November 19th for Europe, but nothing is confirmed yet. Aside from Europe, we’re also considering South America, such as Brazil. As opposed to bringing in a profit, we are planning concerts with the focus of spreading our music.”

Cube Entertainment is back with the second episode of their ‘Fantasy Land‘ teasers for their upcoming family concert!
This time, the segment starts off with 4minute’s Ji Hyun mass-texting everyone after she gets inspired by an idea on set. After drinking from a water bottle, she cheerfully chirps, “Do you know, do you know?“, and informs everyone of a special water event at the concert. She adds that it’ll be refreshing, and that everyone should prepare to get wet.

Cube Entertainment’s first ever family concert, “United Cube“, has finally unveiled their official poster image!

As reported earlier, the concert will be done under the theme, “Fantasy Land“, and so the poster is meant to be an expression of the infinite possibilities of the unknown.
Cube artists B2ST4minute, and G.NA act as puzzle pieces in the poster, whose individual charisma comes together to create a picture of wonder and mystique.
To suit the theme, the stars were dressed in a modern, magician-like style.

Cube Entertainment was going to hold their first ever family concert!

The announcement was then followed up with the very first ‘Fantasy Land‘ teaser video for the upcoming “United Cube Concert“.
In the video, B2ST’s Yoseob is seen texting the rest of the Cube family about the huge event. Every Cube star (including members of B2ST, 4minute, and G.NA) respond with enthusiasm, but they’re all puzzled as to why they didn’t hear back from Dongwoon
It incites a flurry of messages, as everyone bugs Dongwoon to respond. He suddenly appears behind Yoseob, and laughs as he quips that he already knew about the concert. In the end, poor Yoseob looks dejected as he sulkily steps up for his turn on the shoot.
The concert will take place on August 14th. Fans can grab tickets through the Interpark website starting from June 14th at 8:00PM KST.

Cube Entertainment has informed allkpop that they’ll be holding their first ever family concert, “United Cube Concert“!
The concert will be held at Jamshil Stadium on August 14th, and will be done under the theme of “Fantasy Land”. Unlike other standard idol concerts, Cube decided to have their concert outdoors in a natural, festival-like environment.
As expected, Cube’s top artists - 4minute, B2ST, and G.NA – will be performing for the event. The label will be opening a teaser site on their official homepage at 2:00 PM KST on June 9th.
