Recently, the girl group shared some teaser photos for their comeback single, ‘Hit U‘. While many were impressed by ‘Dark Shabet’, it was Ga Eun and her exposed abs that drew the most attention.
Since Dal Shabet previously came out with concepts that were filled to the brim with sweetaegyo, netizens were amazed to find that underneath all that fluff was a sleek and sexy body.

Leader Viki began, “Whenever Ga Eun moves, you hear something crashing and an accident occurs.”
The members revealed, “Sometimes Ga Eun would hit her knee on something while getting in the car, which forces her to lay down for a bit. One time, she even put a cup down on the sofa and managed to almost break it. On another recording, Kim Chang Ryul-ssi asked her to cut something for him with a knife, and while cutting it, she almost cut her own hand. On another program, we heard something burning and turned around to see Ga Eun’s cardigan on fire. Jiyul, who was right next to her, was just fine. These kinds of stuff really only happen to Ga Eun.”
They continued, “On a stage for ‘Music Core‘, she accidentally stomped through the flooring while on ‘Inkigayo‘, she accidentally hit her head on a door while greeting someone backstage. She had to go up on stage with a swollen eye. While at an event in the suburbs, the bugs would only attack Ga Eun, shocking all of us.”
Viki stated, “Before our debut, Ga Eun and I were practicing where we would perform the wave while I was going up and she was going down. She hit her head on something while going down, and the sound was louder than the music. She lost consciousness for about 20 minutes and had to get tested at the hospital. She almost couldn’t even debut. Even now, she’ll cause at least five accidents a day.”
Ga Eun herself commented, “It’s not that I do it on purpose, but these things just happen to me. I’m a ’samjae’ (三災; three years of misfortune) so I thought it’d get better after my birthday passed, but it didn’t.”

This picture was taken on August 3rd when Dal Shabet performed at the 55th 2011 Miss Korea Competition. On this day, Ga Eun wore a cropped shirt to perfectly show off her ‘11-line abs’.

Ga Eun had previously injured her knee during her group’s “Supa Dupa Diva” promotions, and had to take a brief break for treatment. Although her condition improved, the pain returned once she began rehearsals again, which eventually led to her being hospitalized for further treatment.
Happy Face Entertainment stated, “The remaining time before their comeback will be spent in improving her condition. We’ll be working to make sure that this doesn’t affect their comeback next month. We’d like to apologize for making their fans worry.”
Dal Shabet will be releasing their MV teaser on April 11th.
28 Februari: 
Ga Eun was delegated to take the oath as a representative of the 2011 freshmen class during the matriculation ceremony on February 28th. The idol was admitted to the college as a broadcasting/entertainment major. However, due to her worsening knee injury from January, she was unable to stand on the podium that day. Therefore, another freshman was selected to take the stage.
A representative of Dal Shabet revealed,
“Ga Eun had a injury to her left knee in January, yet pushed through her activities. However, the condition has worsened. She has admitted to the hospital this afternoon. In the end, she was unable to take the stage at the entrance ceremony.”Ga Eun was admitted to a hospital near Kangnam that day. Due to the exacerbated injury, she will not be taking part in Dal Shabet activities for some time, and so the group will continue their activities as a five-membered unit.
Meanwhile, the freshman class was treated to celebratory performances from Se7en and Rainbow. Se7en performed four songs including ‘Digital Bounce‘, ‘I’m Going Crazy‘, and ‘Better Together‘. He congratulated the students saying, “I earnestly congratulate you on your admission. You will be beginning your new school life; I hope that through your joyful and exciting experiences and hard work, you would be able to achieve your dreams.”
Also, the congratulatory rice and monetary donations which were received this day will be going towards the underprivileged members of the movie industry, thanks to the Korean Movie Filming Directors Association and the Korean Movie Lighting Directors Association.
