Samsung will be releasing their new Galaxy Player, and what better way to promote the new product than featuring INFINITE as their endorsement models?
As reported earlier, the CF will be released around mid-March, but to hold fans over in the meantime, Samsung has released a clip giving fans a sneak peek into the filming of the CF!
The members are seen goofing off with each other, as well as dancing around wildly with their Galaxy Players in their hands.

Multi-talented entertainer Lee Seung Gi demonstrated his cooking skills at a recent fan meeting, sponsored by Samsung Zipel.
Song Eunee acted as the event’s host, and the two talked about their personal secrets to happiness during a segment called ‘Life’s Happiness Recipe‘. Lee Seung Gi personally made a cheese-kimchi wrap, and even invited fans on stage to try out his dish. He also participated in a spicy food competition with them, and exchanged touching stories as well.
Lee Seung Gi commented, “It was a meaningful time for me, as I got to spend time with 600 fans, including families and couples. I’ll remember each story that the fans shared with me for a long time and keep them warm in my heart.”
5 October:
An online community message board revealed a Youtube clip of 2PM member Nichkhun‘s newest endorsement advertisement for Samsung.
Nichkhun is currently the Thai model for Samsung, and recently shot a commercial with a foreign model. In the advertisement video, he acts as a paparazzi, following the model discreetly with Samsung’s new MultiView MV800 camera. He is wearing a blue hip-length jacket, highlighting his extraordinary facial features and his long legs. Not only is he one of Hallyu’s leading K-pop icons, his ever-rising fame in his home country of Thailand is just as explosive.
Netizens responded with comments such as, “I wish he was a real paparazzi“, “Looks good, as always“, “I want to take a picture with him, too“, and “Now a hot model!”
Nichkhun also visited Bangkok, Thailand for a special meet & greet event to further promote the camera.

On September 30th, Samsung ‘Galaxy S2 LTE‘ released a series of fun new CFs featuring their endorsement model, IU.
The three-part series wittily describes the difference in speed of their LTE service compared to other phones on the 3G network. By having IU play the role of a soldier, a college student, and an office employee, the CF compares their speed to every day life experiences.
In the army CF, she’s pictured as a new recruit who makes a speedy advancement to her discharge with the catch phrase, “The speed of this phone is just like being discharged on the day of your enlistment.” In the college student CF, she’s seen as a stressed out high school senior making a jump into a free college student with the catch phrase, “The speed of this phone is like becoming a college student as soon as you become a high school senior.”
In the office CF, the catch phrase states, “The speed of this phone is like it becoming Friday the minute you get into work on a Monday.”

Lee Seung Gi is the spokesmodel for Samsung’s refrigerator brand, Samsung Zipel. Photos from the CF shoot for the new 2012 Samsung Zipel Kimchi Refrigerator was revealed, thus showing off the sociable atmosphere and brotherly affection on set between Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won.
In the revealed cuts, the two stars are seen with bright smiles. They’re hugging and posing with cute ‘V’ signs which displayed the fun atmosphere and special friendship between the two actors.
All throughout the shoot, the two actors, not only digested the ‘affectionate brother concept’ skillfully, but even during their break time they spent time with each other and showed their close friendship.
Lee Seung Gi, who is in his third consecutive year of being Samsung Zipel’s spokesmodel, stated “I got to shoot a drama with a senior, whom I respect very much, and now that we meet by fate again, it makes me very happy. Because sunbaenim leads very well, the shoot was very comfortable and fun“.
Cha Seung Won added, “In a drama and in a CF, Lee Seung Gi was the first man that I ever took a photo with while hugging. Lee Seung Gi is known and acknowledged for his sincerity and good manners, after meeting him in person, he was just like what everyone said. Seeing such a sincere junior makes me have a lot of affection for him“.
Meanwhile, Cha Seung Won and Lee Seung Gi’s witty CF shoot will be released on Samsung Electronics’ homepage on August 25th.

On August 4th, Samsung Electronics stated, “Lee Seung Gi has been chosen as the main model for the Samsung Zipel line ‘Asak Kimchi Refrigerator’ for the 3rd year running.”
Seung Gi has represented the brand since 2009 and has been praised for standing his ground as a male model in endorsements for the appliances industry, which is currently dominated by female models.
Samsung Electronics also commented, “Lee Seung Gi has captured the hearts of 20 – 40 year old females who make up much of the consumer market and even served as a driving force behind making Zipel refrigerator the number 1 brand sold in the market for 3 consecutive years. He also played a big role in making the premium refrigerator market bigger by acting as Zipel’s main model.”

IU recently attended a event for the Samsung Galaxy S 2, and photos of the star were uploaded onto an online community board on May 27th.
Although she carries the nickname, ‘nation’s little sister’, IU stunned her fans when she stepped out as a lady for the event. She’s seen wearing a fashionable outfit that gives off a mature air, thanks to the chic jacket over a black dress. Samsung Electronics specially cast the two actors due to the popularity of the drama, and because of unending requests from fans hoping to see the characters together again.
Focusing on their hilarious drama relationship, Samsung produced two CFs under the theme, “The difference between the sky and the ground.” Fit to his character, Hyun Bin can be seen stressing the importance of luxury and the modern to Kim Sung Oh.
Samsung’s representatives revealed, “No matter what TV the Samsung Smart TV is put up against, its features will distinguish itself from all. The Smart TV will be working hand-in-hand with the charms of actor Hyun Bin, who is also one of the top actors of our time.”

Talk about a killer combination! YouTube star David Choi and everyone’s favorite Hallyu entertainer/boy-next-door Lee Seung Gi in one ad!
That’s right – David Choi’s song, “By My Side“, was used in a 30-second ad for a Samsung Zipel refrigerator.

A recent CF featuring IU for Samsung Galaxy S Hoppin was recently unveiled.
The CF also features actor Jang Seo Won, who rose to popularity through his comical role as the Action School stuntman in the recently finished drama, “Secret Garden“.
The ad shows Jang Seo Won hopping onto a bus while he fanboys over IU, and he decides to watch her music video for “Good Day”. Because he was so absorbed in imitating the dance moves in her MV, he doesn’t realize IU gets on the bus, and in turn, IU does various cute actions to try and get him to look behind him. Jang Seo Won only takes notice of IU right at the end when she gets off the bus, cries in regret ,and yells at the bus driver to stop the bus.
