Dongho recently became the first male idol to grace the cover of MAXIM magazine, posing for the June publication. He got in character for his role in the made for TV movie ‘Holyland‘.
With his fierce gaze and both his hands covered in cuts and bandages, Dongho was able to prove that he’s definitely growing up and he’s no longer that young child that first debuted with U-KISS.
His fans who came across the magazine seemed to approve of this new look as they wrote, “Never thought the cute Dongho could look so hot“, “Amazing that he is the first male idol to be on the cover“, and more.

For the April edition of ‘Maxim’ magazine, members Ahyoung and Jiyul graced the covers with their sexy yet natural and playful looks. Dressed simply in sequined tank tops, the girls made the outfits sparkle even brighter with their long, flowy hairstyle, amazing bodies, and innocent-yet-mature facial expressions.
A representative on set revealed, “They’ve shed the cute image they’ve always been known for in their fourth mini-album, ‘Hit U‘, where they made a charismatic transformation. Ahyoung and Jiyul have come back with a new photoshoot done under the concept of ‘girl friend’. They have skills on par with any professional model and were praised by staff on set.”

The members of Nine Muses are known for being ‘model idols’, thanks to their slim, shapely figures and tall height. Sera alone was chosen to model for Maxim’s March issue, however, due to her charismatic gaze and explosive vocal talent on stage..
Sera took on several different concepts for this shoot, including ‘bad girl’ and ‘femme fatale’ to show off her lethal appeal.

MAXIM Korea recently reported, “Rania has been selected as the new cover models for the new year edition of Maxim, and they recently participated in a photo shoot. Even though the shoot took place late into the night, the girls did not lose their smiles.”
Entertainer Boom guest-featured on MBC TV‘s ‘Radio Star‘ after being discharged from the military and remarked, “Rania came to perform at our military camp, and the soliders went crazy. It probably came as a cultural shock to the military personnel.”
Afterwards, Rania earned their ‘Military President’ nickname. During the interview that took place at the shoot, the girls stated, “There are a lot more people that recognize us now after we performed at the military base. All the idols have a strong ‘uncle’ fan base now. We hope that the fans in the military will be our ‘uncle fans’ once they’re discharged.”
Rania also revealed that they were on a strict diet. “We only eat proteins. We’re on the diet from hell. T-ae sometimes nearly vomits. The food tastes that bad.”
They also shared a funny story about a wardrobe malfunction on stage. “One time while we were dancing on stage, T-ae’s pants actually ripped. Thankfully our tops were long enough to cover the tear.”
In related news, the ladies of Rania are actively promoting their new song “Pop Pop Pop“, showcasing their fierce dance moves.

‘MAXIM Korea’ recently released a behind-the-scenes video clip of the RaNia members on the set of their photoshoot for the January edition of the magazine.
Member Semi, Di,and T-ae were seen showcasing their mature looks as they enjoyed the New Years party themed shoot complete with sweet treats and bubbly drinks.

The photos of the group in the magazine overflow with charisma and sexiness which has been drawing the attention of many. In particular, female members Jubee and Misung can be seen wearing short miniskirts that show off their sexy shapely bodies.
When asked about the meaning behind the song ‘Midnight Circus‘ in the editorial interview, Sunny Hill replied, “Music artists, like circus clowns, perform on stage after rigorous training and exercise. On stage the performers can be sensational main characters, yet no one knows on the inside that they can also be crying clowns. We wanted to express this duality“.

A refreshing shot for the August issue of ‘Maxim‘ has put Kil Hara of the new girl duo, “HARASORA“, on the cover.
The photoshoot took place at a resort in Gangwon-do, where the staff worked to capture Kil Hara’s cool charisma by having her pose on lush green grass.
Kil Hara captivated the public in the past with her innocent looks after she appeared on MBC’s “Sunday Sunday Night – Hot Brothers” as a blind date.
While on set, she reportedly made the atmosphere very lively with her bubbly talks and easy-going personality. She even drank the beer that was provided as the photoshoot’s prop!
The August issue of Maxim will also provide content about the comeback of the ‘model-dols’, Nine Muses.

Ahead of their official comeback, Nine Muses have teased fans with a taste of their concept through a new photoshoot with ‘MAXIM‘ magazine!
During the photoshoot, the girls were interviewed about their upcoming album release, to which they revealed, “It’s a secret so we can’t reveal much, but we’re planning to win with our music this time. You can anticipate an impressive stage during our comeback promotions.”
Since the girls are known for being ‘model idols’, they pulled off the photoshoot’s concept of marionettes to a T by acting as ‘living dolls’. Staff didn’t have much to direct, as the girls led themselves in pulling off their perfect poses. You can check out the rest in the August edition of ‘MAXIM’.

Brown Eyed Girls member Narsha graced the July issue of Maxim Korea with sexy attire and some appropriately provocative poses, living up to her nickname as the “adult idol” and impressing the magazine staff with her photoshoot.
In her interview with the magazinem Narsha revealed, “I cried recently while watching Lee Sorasunbae sing ‘The Wind Blows’ on the show ‘I Am A Singer’.” Narsha explained that because she was originally very self-conscious about her own voice, watching Lee Sora’s moving performance helped her realize that a singer’s job is not only to sing, but is just as much about conveying emotion.
When Maxim asked if she had any regrets in concluding her solo activities, Narsha responded that she was content with releasing an album in a genre that she personally wanted to pursue.
Concerning criticisms that her concept was a little ahead of its time, Narsha said coolly, “Whether the song had been called ‘Bbi Ri Bop A‘ or ‘Nightmare‘, it wouldn’t have changed the minds of people who didn’t like the song itself.”

The group has been consistently showing off their vocal talent on stage with their ’90s R&B remake of “Don’t Let Go“. Though the ladies enjoyed the nickname, ‘the second Big Mama‘, they can now also savor the tag of being sexy songstresses, as exemplified in this racy shoot.
In the accompanying interview, the girls showed their determination by stating, “We want to become known as a group with vocal talent.”

Donning both a sporty and trendy-casual look, the girls were put in hot pants and short skirts to show off their glamorous S-lines, which they’ve managed to hide until now.
A representative of the photoshoot revealed, “The members are all very energetic and professional, so everything was able to be done smoothly. Despite the fact that they’re not models, they’ve managed to pull off a variety of poses that we’re all satisfied with.”

During an interview with Maxim, the singer stated, “I often hear that I look similar to f(x)’s Victoria, but I’m actually apologetic towards her and SM Entertainment. I wonder how much it would’ve hurt their feelings. There are people who think I’m sponging off of Victoria’s success, but it’s really upsetting when people disparage me in a musical sense.”
When asked how difficult it is to promote as an artist without an agency, Han So Ah replied, “I always run into the brick wall of reality, but I’m happy that I can make the music I want. I don’t want to repeat the things that happened when I was part of an agency.”
She added, “I want to keep a balance between popular music and experimental music. I don’t want to make biased music.”

Brown Eyed Girls’ Jea and Miryo showcased their perfect S-line through a recent photo spread with Maxim Korea.
Utilizing a “Muse” concept, the photo spread for Maxim’s March edition displays Jea flaunting a sexy black, laced mini-dress, completed with a short, leather black jacket.
In contrast to her charismatic persona on stage, Miryo can be seen wearing a large, bright red knit with grey leggings, showing off a much cuter side of her personality.
The editor on set praised their performance, as they said, “Not only was their body figure great, but their cheerful personalities really brightened the set’s atmosphere.”
Jea and Miyo will soon be making a comeback with the Brown Eyed Girls with the release of their 4th full album. When asked about the album’s concept, they replied, “The album will be focusing a lot on our voices. The details of it are a secret.”
