Earlier, we reported that ‘Boys Over Flowers‘ star Kim Joon enlisted in the military. As it turns out, VOS‘s Kim Kyung Rok has also enlisted today as well!
Unlike Kim Joon who is training to be a military police officer, Kim Kyung Rok will go through the standard four-week basic training program to serve as a public service personnel.
A representative from Kim Kyung Rok’s agency reported that he wanted to keep everything hush hush, and told only those he was very close to. ”The company was shocked when we were told in the morning. (Kim Kyung Rok) wanted to enter (the military) quietly,” they said.
In related news, another VOS member, Choi Hyun Joon, entered the military last year and has been working as a public service personnel.

A representative of VOS’s company, Star Empire, commented, “Kim Kyung Rok will enter the military on September 22nd at the Nonsan training center.With his enlistment date around the corner, Kim Kyung Rok has been preparing a solo album for his loving fans.”
Kim Kyung Rok will receive basic military training for four weeks at Nonsan training center before transferring to work as a public service worker.
VOS debuted back in 2004 as a three member vocal group. They received the nickname, “The 2nd SG Wannabe“, after singing hit songs like “In Trouble” and “Look Into My Eyes and Tell Me“.
18 Februari: Kim Kyung Rok has unveiled the MV for his latest track, “사랑이 어떻게 변하니 / How Can Love Change.”
The track features the talented rapper Verbal Jint and his new album, “Black Label,“ is the work of hit composer and producer, Park Geun Tae.
