For the first time in five years, underground hip hop duo Eluphant met up with their fans for their second album showcase, “Man on the Earth“!

Despite it being a standing showcase, all of the tickets sold out thanks to anticipating fans.  With a loud round of applause, the duo kicked off the showcase with the first track off of their album, “Hello My Dear”. The song is special in that the lyrics contain a positive message of not only their return, but of a new beginning together, making it the perfect ‘first song’ with their fans.

After following up with “She Is Not Following You“, “Kidult“, and other album songs, Eluphant went on to perform their most-anticipated track, “You’re Still Beautiful“.

The duo said, “We tried to bring in 10cm’s Kwon Jung Yeol but we couldn’t so we will sing the song ourselves.” After taking out their very own djembe (as characteristic of the vocalist), they continued,“This was the first time we were scolded by staff during rehearsals, but we did try hard so please enjoy it.”

Special guests also included fellow Soul Company artists Fana, Rhyme-A-, and DJ Wegun.

To follow up the teaser we reported on earlier this month, hip-hop duo Eluphant has finally released the official music video for their title track, “Kidult”, featuring B2ST’s Doojoon!

The music video parodies the popular show “I Am A Singer”, as well as other popular culture, including Korean freestyle show, “Mic Swagger“.

After teasing fans for several months with digital singles like “Superstar” and “She’s Not Following You“, underground hip hop duo Eluphant has finally released their second official album, “Man on the Earth”
As revealed in their teaser, their title track, “Kidult“, features B2ST’s Doojoon.  The title is a combination of kid and adult, which is an expression of their desire to stay young even though they get older by the year.
Doojoon and Eluphant have remained close friends, which explains why Doojoon made sure to take time off to join the duo despite busily promoting B2ST’s comeback album.
Aside from the title track, the album features all of the duo’s previous single releases like “Bye Bye Bike“, “You’re Still Beautiful“, and new songs like “From the Sun to the Boy“, “Short Finger“, and “Everyone Look“.   Soul Company labelmates Rhyme-A- and Fana also participated in the last two tracks.
Representatives of Eluphant commented, “We’re confident that it’s an album that will live up to the expectations of the fans that have waited for so long.  Please open your ears up to the message that Eluphant hopes to deliver.”

Hip hop duo Eluphant is preparing to release their second official album “Man On the Earth” this month, and they’ve just revealed a hilarious teaser video for their title track, “Kidult“, featuring B2ST’sDoojoon.

The teaser is a parody of MBC’s “I Am a Singer“, and is titled “I Am a Rapper“. Living up to the prestige of the title, the teaser features legendary underground rappers like MC Meta, Rhyme-A-, Sool J, and Huckleberry P.

The full album is scheduled for release on June 9th.

11 April:Following the release of their new EP, Soul Company’s hip hop duo ‘Eluphant‘ have finally released an MV teaser for their new title track, “She Is Not Following You“.

“She Is Not Following You” features vocals by ‘JC a.k.a Ji Eun‘, and the title of the track refer to the social networking site, Twitter. You can check out their full self-titled album by clicking here.

Soul Company’s hip hop duo, Eluphant, marked their return after a five year hiatus through the release of “Superstar“. After teasing about another single earlier this week, Eluphant finally released their new EP, “She Is Not Following You“.

Featuring two new tracks, the single is just one of many to come, as the duo is already preparing for their next album release this May called, “Man On the Moon.”

The single’s title track, “She Is Not Following You”, is a reference to Twitter and was composed byRhymebus’s Peejay, who’s known for his work with Big Bang and Jung In. Eluphant’s refreshing rap style was further heightened by smoky vocals from ‘JC aka Ji Eun.’

Meanwhile, the single’s other track “Hello My Dear” was produced by Soul Company’s Loptimist and features a message thanking fans for cherishing the memories of Eluphant’s first album, “Eluphant Bakery“. It also promises better things for what’s to come.

6 April:Last week, Soul Company’s hip hop duo, Eluphant, broke their five-year hiatus with their comeback single, “Superstar“.

Members Kebee and Minos have rolled up their sleeves to reveal another treat for their loyal fans in the form of a teaser for another new single called “Hello My Dear“.

In contrast to their previous release, “Hello My Dear” sounds a lot more laidback and feel-good in style.  The teaser features still cuts that harmonize well with the song’s concept – the two are seen relaxing against beautiful natural scenery while they play around with retro props.
