Yoon Eun Hye has been receiving love not only for her role in the SBS drama ‘Lie To Me‘, but also for her uninhibited generosity. A representative of Verdi Entertainment revealed that the humble starlet presented 100 of the drama’s staff members each with a new pair of jeans, wanting to relieve their stress with her thoughtful gesture.
The representative explained, “On June 23rd, Yoon Eunhye gifted DPSR jeans to the entire staff. Since the drama is coming to a close, filming has been hectic and everyone’s schedules have become harder to handle, especially in this hot weather. All the staff are so grateful for her gift.”
“Lie To Me” will air its final 16th episode on June 28th KST.

Writer Kim Ye Ri, who was writing the script for SBS’s “Lie to Me“, had to step down suddenly because of health reasons.
The last script written by Kim Ye Ri was the 10th episode, which aired last week, and writer Choi Yoon Jung filled in starting with the 11th episode. Because of the sudden replacement, netizens questioned if the change occurred because of the declining ratings.
However, an official from SBS stated, “Low ratings is not the writer’s fault and is not a problem that the writer should be be responsible for. It is just that she could not write anymore because of her health.”
The official added, “Writer Kim Ye Ri quit only because of health problems; it had nothing to do with the ratings. Although Kim has been replaced, we are planning to stick with the scenario she pictured. The work won’t go in a totally different direction. It is totally true that she is the original writer.”
Meanwhile, writer Choi Yoon Jung has also written scripts for MBC’s “Life Special Investigation Team” and “Spotlight“.

Two Maknaes (youngest) from the first generation girl groups recently displayed their strong bond!
Lee Eun from Chakra made a surprise visit to cheer on actress Yoon Eun Hye (originally from Baby V.O.X.) during the filming of SBS’s “Lie To Me“. Lee Eun stayed on set for about three hours and helped monitor Yoon Eun Hye’s acting, and on top of this, she even bought 20 pans of pizza for the staff members and actors, touching Yoon Eun Hye’s heart with her sincerity.
Lee Eun stated, “I went to encourage my close friend while she was diligently filming. I look forward to see the viewers’ rating for Yoon Eun Hye’s drama ‘Lie to Me’ to soar up.” She added, “During the Chakra and Baby V.O.X. days, we became close because we were both the same age and both the maknaes of our team. Even though Yoon Eun Hye is probably busy on set because she is the main character, I’m proud to see her take care of the staff first.”
In 1999, Lee Eun and Yoon Eun Hye both debuted through their girl groups as the maknaes. Afterwards, Yoon Eun Hye successfully re-debuted as an actress through MBC’s “Goong“. Meanwhile, Lee Eun married professional golfer Kwon Yong in January of 2008 and is now a marketing director of business at an island resort that her father-in-law manages.

Yoon Eun Hye and Kwang Ji Hwan recently shared a cola kiss for the 8th episode of SBS’s “Lie to Me“, set to be broadcast on May 31st.
The filming took place in Kijoon’s house, played by Kang Ji Hwan. Ahjung, played by Yoon Eun Hye, drinks alcohol and impulsively goes to sleep at Kijoon’s house. In order to play a little joke on her, Kijoon kisses her after shaking a 1.5 L bottle of cola.
Unlike their first kiss scene, Kang kissed Yoon gently by holding her tightly in his arms.
A staff commented, “If there was the ‘foam kiss’ between Secret Garden’s Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Wonin 2010, there is the ‘cola kiss’ between Kang Ji Hwan and Yoon Eun Hye in 2011. You can expect to find out more about how their relationship progresses by their kiss.”

Lead actor Kang Ji Hwan shared a little info about some of the scenes in the drama, such as a ‘cola kiss’. He explained, “The script writer isn’t married, but I think she likes kiss scenes. Yoon Eun Hyeand I promised each other that we’d try our best before beginning the kiss scene. The first time we did it, we were surprised to see how sexual it looked when we were monitoring it.”
He continued, “The second kiss scene is a new one that I don’t think has been tried before. It’s been nicknamed the ‘cola kiss’. The kiss scene for the sixth episode took place in the early morning, and I remember using a whole bottle of mouthwash without even eating breakfast.”
Speaking on his teamwork with Yoon Eun Hye, he revealed, “We work very well together. A lot of the aspects in a romantic comedy will really begin to liven up towards the middle of the drama, so please look forward to it.”
Yoon Eun Hye also talked about her marriage plans by stating, “I don’t think age matters in marriage. I’ve wanted to get married since I was 22 years old. Ever since I was little, my father always told me that 21 was gold, 22 was silver, and 23 was bronze. I debuted at a young age, so I always have a fantasy of going on all the dates I want after getting married.”

CEO Yoon Young Ha of Verdi Media, the distribution company for SBS’s “Lie to Me“, recently crowned actress Yoon Eun Hye as the ‘queen of loyalty.’
“I’d like to express my gratitude towards Yoon Eun Hye for her kindness,” he said.
According to the CEO, Yoon Eun Hye was cast alongside the late Park Yong Ha for his drama, “Love Song.” Originally scheduled to begin filming in June of last year, the project was cancelled due to Park Yong Ha’s unfortunate suicide. At the time, Yoon Eun Hye even consoled the CEO by promising, “I’ll be waiting for your next project.”
Yoon stated, “She must have received dozens of different role offers during that time, but she quietly kept her promise to me, which I’m eternally grateful for.”

On April 19th, Yoon Eun Hye and Kang Ji Hwan (co-stars on SBS’s upcoming drama, “Lie to Me“) threw a surprise birthday party for PD Kim Su Ryong at the W Hotel!
On the day of his birthday, filming involved Yoon Eun Hye and Kang Ji Hwan’s characters meeting for the very first time at a banquet hall. After completing the scene, castmates and staff hid behind the curtain and began singing Happy Birthday as they emerged again with a cake.

15 April:On April 13th, actress Yoon Eun Hye participated in a large-scale shoot for her upcoming drama, “Lie to Me“. In the scene that was being shot that day, a grade 5 Ministry of Culture official, Go Ah Jung (Yoon Eun Hye), was preparing for the World Tourism Ministers’ Meeting.
For the scene, Yoon Eun Hye participates in a traditional food tasting event at the Junbuk Gochang Fortress, where traditional Korean culture is celebrated. The event was her idea and the guests from around the world have nothing but positive things to say. However, things take a terrible turn when a brisk spring wind causes a fruit to drop on top of a wasp hive. This causes the guests to get attacked by a swarm of wasps, and the venue scrambles into complete chaos.
To film this scene, approximately 200 people were required: 50 staff members, 20 international actors, and 120 extras. The shoot also drew in a huge crowd from the local populace and students.
After the filming, Yoon Eun Hye commented, “I like the drama character, Go Ah Jung, because she is so fun and similar to me. She is bright and off-the-wall, but please watch and accept Go Ah Jung as a cute girl who is looking for true love.”

“Lie to Me” is a romantic comedy about a single woman pining for the life style of the married by plotting a marriage scam. Her male partner is expected to be Kang Ji Hwan, who will also be marking his return to the small screen after previously running into controversy with the Korean Entertainment Management Association.
The drama, which is co-produced by PD Kim Su Ryong (“Green Rose“) and writer Kim Ye Rin (“Heading to the Ground“), will begin airing on May 9th.
