It looks like Super Junior’s Heechul finally got his wish!

On June 26th, the Wonder Girls‘ Sohee called Heechul on Youngstreet radio, making his last day on the program even more memorable. He seemed to enjoy the phone call a lot more than the picture above, where he had asked the editors to photoshop Sohee into his photo.

As fans all know, Heechul has been an extremely loyal fan of the Wonder Girls’ “mandu face” over the past few years, with fans affectionately deeming the duo “Soheechul”.

When Heechul realized it was Sohee calling him, he proceeded to laugh wildly in joy, then quickly calmed himself to ask her how she was. “How is Heechul oppa?” he later asked her, to which she complimented, “You’re such a talented and fun host, which is why I have a great time listening to your show.”

He also mentioned that J.Y. Park had greatly praised her when they had met for dinner the night before. “Whenever we meet he always praises you. He also told me to stop bothering him,” Heechul laughed.

He also asked Sohee what he meant to her, and after a brief silence, she replied, “An oppa that I’m very grateful for.“ Heechul then added, “I’m very grateful to you, because when I’m in a bad mood and want to hit someone, I’ll think of you and feel better.”

He then proved himself to be a true fan when he commented, “Tomorrow’s your birthday right? Happy Birthday,” to which Sohee replied, “Yes it is! Thank you,” and played “Nobody” after her call.

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul shows interest in Wonder Girl’s Sohee, as he was caught by a trap set by 2PM’s Taecyeon.

On the June 23rd broadcast of SBS’s radio program, “Kim Heechul’s Young Street“, Taecyeon bragged, “Did you know that our song features Sohee?”, provoking Heechul’s curiosity.

Heechul then stated he needed to immediately hear the song, “Hands Up“, as he was curious about her lyrics. Because Taecyeon was able to get a reaction like that out of Heechul, the listeners’ overall reaction was that “Taecyeon is smart.”

Shortly after, the “Young Street” writers created a picture of them together and put it on the “Young Street” homepage, as if Heechul’s interest in Sohee was official.

In 2PM’s Hands Up, Sohee was featured as she sang “Oppa, can I trust you?”

4 Mei:Dancing Heechul Makes a Comeback

We’ve reported previously on how Heechul dances to Kpop songs on his show and this time dancing Heechul returns with a dance to f(x)’s comeback song.
Heechul has danced to Miss A’s ‘Breathe’ and various other Kpop songs last year and he has been quite calm until just recently
A video of him dancing to f(x)’s ‘Pinocchio(Danger)’ has surfaced from his radio show yesterday and it’s Heechul in his dorky glory.

On May 3rd, Super Junior’s Heechul posed for a picture with junior girl group A Pink!

The star tweeted, “With A Pink. A Pink who participated in our ‘Youngstreet‘ together. They said it’s not the ‘crab dance’, but rather the ‘butterfly dance’. I memorized the [names of] sweet Bomi, Namjoo, Eunji, Naeun,Yookyung, Hayoun, and Chorong. Agood~.”

In the accompanying photo, Heechul is surrounded by the A Pink members after wrapping up his radio program. After seeing the picture, Heechul’s friends showed jealousy over his job, leading the idol to reply, “I didn’t know a radio DJ could be this happy.”

Netizens commented, “I think they got close. I’m jealous”, “I want to receive attention from Heechul oppa”, “Everyone’s cute and charming“.

Heechul previously showed interest for the girls when he tweeted about them on April 24th.

1 Mei:Dalmatian’s Daniel and Jisu recently appeared on Heechul’s radio program “Young Street“, and the three bonded while talking about rookie group Rania.

Heechul first started the conversation by asking the two, “So what group do you guys think is good these days?” Daniel shyly asked, “Girl groups?” and then went on to say,”These days I think…” – unfortunately, he was cut off by DJ Heechul. He confidently blurted out, “Rania.” The three boys then fist-bumped each other joyfully after finding out that they were all Rania fanboys.

Daniel and Jisu even sang a part of “Dr. Feel Good“. Heechul commented, “They’re very powerful. I like ‘cool’ things and they have one distinct concept so I like them.”

On a recent broadcast of Young Street, guests San-E and Jewelry’s Yewon joined host Heechul in a particularly spirited rendition of 2NE1’s “Fire“. Wonder Girls leader Sunye announced that the group will carry out promotions in Korea later this year.

On April 6th, Sunye appeared on SBS Power FM’s ‘Kim Hee Chul’s Young Street‘, and hinted at a Wonder Girls comeback in Korea.

When asked about the Wonder Girls’ activities by a listener, she stated, “Although we are not promoting in Korea right now, I’m very proud that K-Pop is being spread [around the world]. So I have a greater desire to promote our group in Korea as well as to see our fans who’ve waited for a long time. I think there will be some good news later this year.”

She added, “For our fans who have waited for us, we’ll be sure to see you all soon with good music before the year ends. Please cheer us on.”

Sunye also gave a quick status report on her members. “All the members are well except for Sohee, who is a little sick due to a cold.”
