A Thousand Kisses

Kim So Eun, who is much loved for her bright and refreshing image, is returning to the drama scene forMBC’s ‘A Thousand Kisses‘. The beautiful actress took a year off since her last drama stint in ‘A Good Day For the Wind To Blow‘.

In her new drama, the young actress plays the role of Woo Joo Mi, a bright and energetic girl who lives happily even with the misfortune of having grown up without a mother. She is set to have a romantic relationship with a rich but sensitive guy named Jang Woo Jin, played by actor Ryu Jin.

At a filming session for ‘A Thousand Kisses’ on August 14th, the actress filmed her first scene in which she collided with Ryu Jin while jogging and listening to music at the same time. With this event, Kim So Eun falls in love with Ryu Jin at first sight and begins to work her way to his closed heart.

Kim So Eun and Ryu Jin actually have a 17 year age difference but the two were able to overcome it at the shooting with their professionalism. The acting couple were very comfortable and even joked around with each other.

‘A Thousand Kisses’ is about people who have experienced failures in life but overcome it and become successful. It is scheduled to air its first episode on August 20th.

4minute’s leader has been cast in the upcoming MBC weekend drama, ‘A Thousand Kisses‘!

‘A Thousand Kisses’ marks her second time on the small screen, and this time, she’ll be playing the role of ‘Jang Soo Ah’, the younger sister of ‘Ryu Jin’. The character is described to be the lovely and outgoing maknae daughter of a conglomerate. Unlike her appearance, however, she’s also said to be a deep young woman who knows how to understand adults.

Producers revealed, “Nam Jihyun tackled the character of Jang Soo Ah with 120% of her acting abilities, and didn’t exude the aura of an idol. She was not cast as an idol singer, but as a rookie actor.”

The drama will begin airing on August 20th.

Kim So Eun has been cast as the female lead for the new MBC drama, ‘A Thousand Kisses‘.

‘A Thousand Kisses’ is about two sisters who lead hard, but happy lives after their mother leaves home. Kim So Eun will play the younger sister, ‘Woo Joo Mi’, a bright character who never loses her optimism even in a harsh environment. She falls in love with a gentle guy named ‘Jang Woo Jin’, played by actor Ryu Jin while Seo Young Hee plays her older sister.

A representative for the drama stated, “Kim So Eun has been cast in ‘A Thousand Kisses’. She is set to join forces with Ryu Jin.”

Kim So Eun gained fame through KBS’s ‘Boys Over Flowers‘ and ‘Good Day For the Wind to Blow‘. This is her first work in more than a year, and so fans are eager to see her back on the small screen.

‘A Thousand Kisses’ is scheduled to air in mid-August following ‘Sparkling‘. Seo Young Hee, Ji Hyun Woo, and Ryu Jin have been confirmed in the drama line-up so far.
