On the latest episode of SBS‘s ‘K-Pop Star‘, the second round of auditions continued with intense fervor, as the remaining contestants battled it out to move onto the next round.
Contestant Kim Soo Hwan stood out with his cover of Lee Juk‘s ‘I’m so Fortunate‘, which was applauded as the most emotionally touching performance of the round.
Kim Soo Hwan is a 19-year-old man who’s been blind since birth. He made his debut appearance on ‘K-Pop Star’ in its pilot episode, when he made judge BoA cry with his unconquerable devotion to music. Even though Kim Soo Hwan required assistance to walk that day, his astounding effort in his dance performance made all the viewers exclaim with amazement.
In the first episode, the judges were skeptical — was Kim Soo Hwan just a one-hit wonder? They debated on whether he would be able to impress them in the second round, since he barely passed the first round.
Fortunately, their concern was unneeded, as Kim Soo Hwan blew the judges away with a heartrending vocal performance that rang with deep emotion. In fact, his performance was so touching that he caused tears to spring in the eyes of his fellow contestants.
J.Y. Park was also teary-eyed as he applauded, “To me, you are number one today. The song lyrics were sung with sincerity. This was the first time that I was about to cry.”
27 December:
On the latest episode of SBS‘s ‘K-Pop Star‘, the second round kicked off with the remaining contestants showing everything they’ve got to avoid elimination.
During the audition, a 15-year-old girl named Park Ji Min stepped onto the stage to perform a cover of Adele‘s “Rolling in the Deep“.
From the get-go, Park Ji Min captivated her audience with a confidence that made it hard to believe she was only 15. Her voice fluctuated charmingly, keeping true to Adele’s style yet delivering a flair all her own. At one point, BoA was so touched by Park Ji Min’s singing that she shouted with sheer excitement during the performance.
After the performance, J.Y. Park honestly confessed, “If I had a big bag beside me, I think I would kidnap you and bring you to my company.” Yang Hyun Suk also revealed his astonishment as he breathed, “You’re only 15…. I think you’re crazy“.

23 December:
On December 25th, SBS ‘K-pop Star‘ will feature a special panel of judges including HOT‘s Kangta,God‘s Kim Tae Woo, Se7en, Psy and Super Junior‘s Donghae.
The three primary judges(J.Y. Park (JYP), Yang Hyun Suk (YG), and BoA (SM)) will be conducting a 1-on-1 individual audition with the contestants who passed the first round. The five special judges will make an appearance during these auditions and also chime in giving useful advice and suggestions to the contestants.
The three primary judges were reportedly holding the auditions with the remaining contestants who passed the first round in three separate large rooms. It was said that there was much applause from JYP and BoA’s room. However, Yang Hyun Suk was seen scolding many of the contestants that he judged. Those who gave a good impression to Yang Hyun Suk were praised, but those who didn’t, witnessed first hand of his fury.
The five special panel judges joined their individual label-mates separately to support them in judging the remaining contestants.
A representative of the show shared, “These training sessions will make the program more interesting. As we move on to the second round, the competition will get more intense and audiences will be able to better see the potential of the remaining contestants. Please anticipate the second round.”
19 December:
On December 18th, the third episode of SBS ‘K-POP Star‘ aired and viewers were able to watch French contestant, Julie Chabrol perform “Forget You” by Cee Lo Green.
After finishing her live performance, the three judges of the show gave varying opinions from praises to disapproval. For those who have seen the previous episodes, you should have noticed the striking difference between J. Y. Park and Yang Hyun Suk‘s criteria for qualifying contestants. This episode was another example of that dissimilarity between the two producers.
First, judge BoA commented, “You have f(x) Amber‘s vibe. You seem like a tomboy. You have a good voice as a foreigner, but skill wise..I don’t know. I’ll be honest, you would be good as a visual. I want to see you sing in Korean in the next round and I’ll make a final decision then. So for now, I’ll pass you to the next round.”
However, producer J.Y. Park disqualified the foreign contestant revealing, “I like it when an artist is comfortable on stage, but I don’t like it when they are comfortable without any skills. You have the attitude of a star, but don’t have the skills like one. That is very frustrating to me.” Regarding this statement, the contestant showed her determination as she stated, “I want to go further in the contest. I haven’t shown my fullest potential yet.”
Interestingly enough, the audience was shocked to hear Yang Hyun Suk’s evaluation as it was completely different from the other judges. He said, “This is interesting. My thoughts are completely different than Park Jin Young’s. I really like you, Julie Chabrol. I think you have a million dollar voice. I’m going to pass you.”
After hearing Yang Hyun Suk’s statement, J.Y. Park looked surprised and frustrated at the same time, intensifying the mood of the set.
Check out the audition yourselves and tell us whether you agree with the judges or not!
6 December:
Singer and producer J.Y. Park honestly opened up about his physical appearance.
Contestant Kim Nayoon auditioned on the December 4th episode of SBS ‘Survival Audition K-POP Star‘, and she stole the heart of panel judge J.Y.Park with her unique voice.
“I think I’m in love,” J.Y. Park remarked, and asked her to dance for him. But Kim Nayoon’s dance did not meet J.Y. Park’s expectations.
“If you could dance like you could sing, it would’ve been your folly,” he said. “It would’ve been the same situation as J.Y. Park being good looking,” he thoughtlessly remarked, which caught fellow panel members Yang Hyun Suk and BoA off-guard.
“If I were good looking, I don’t think I would’ve tried hard or put much effort in life,” he explained, evoking much laughter on set.
5 December:
SBS‘s new audition program, ‘K-POP STAR’, aired its first episode on December 4th.
Both viewers and judges were impressed by the talent and individuality of the contestants in the show’s first round of auditions.
BoA shed tears as she watched the passionate dance performance by Kim Soo Hwan, a 19 year old who is visually impaired. J.Y. Park was awed by 16 year old Kim Na Yoon‘s rendition of Alicia Key‘s“Fallin”, and Yang Hyun Suk didn’t hold back his praise of 15 year old Park Jung Eun. He said,“You have [dance] skills that could gain recognition not only in Korea, but all over the world.”
Netizens who watched the show commented, “The show has a distinguishable entertainment factor”, “There are so many skilled contestants,” “It’s entertaining and touching as well,” and “This is what you call a real audition program. I wish ‘K-POP STAR’ good fortune.”
‘K-POP STAR’ is a survival audition program geared to produce the next generation of a global K-Pop star and features judges from the big 3 entertainment companies: SM, YG, and JYP. The 1st place winner will received 300 million Won (~ $266,552) and an opportunity to release their own album, as well as many other additional prizes.

24 November:
On the afternoon of November 24th, SM’s BoA, YG’s Yang Hyun Suk and JYP‘s J.Y. Park attended the official press conference for SBS‘s“Survival Audition K-Pop Star”, which took place at the SBS headquarters in Seoul.
When asked if there were any contestants that stood out in her memory, BoA answered, “To be honest, there were a lot. There were two contestants that I can recall clearly. One of them was physically disabled and it would’ve been difficult for him to dance, but his efforts moved me to tears.”
“When we mentored the contestants, I gave one contestant some advice and the next day, his singing improved to an extent that was impossible to put in words. Seeing things like that gave great joy to the producers, as it was these moments that gave them hope of digging up truly hidden talents. Although I’m a singer, for a moment I was able to feel the bliss that the show’s producer felt,” she added.
With regards to being part of the judging panel of the contest, CEO Yang Hyun Suk revealed, “Contestants who could’ve gotten first place in other singing programs were cut. Also, contestants who we weren’t fully convinced with proceeded to the top rounds. I think our vision is a lot different to that of the mass public. (The final contestants) aren’t like former ‘Superstar K’contestants Kang Seung Yoon and Kim Eun Bi, who we signed into our agency last year.”
He continued, “I think the course of explaining our different vision is one of the fun elements of the show. To be honest, we even signed a contestant who was eliminated from the preliminary rounds of ‘Superstar K3′”.
J.Y. Park stated, “For JYPE, we’ve never contracted former contestants or winners from other audition programs, simply because they weren’t who we wanted. The winners expressed their desire to enter our company, but we didn’t want them with us, so we didn’t sign a contract. However, for ‘K-Pop Star’, we’re not even in the final rounds and we already have five contestants who we’d like to sign with.”
He added, “If there were two sentences that we said the most in the auditions, it would be: ‘You sing really well, but we will not accept you to the next round”, and “You sing terribly, but we’ll accept you to the next round’. The contestants who were really good at singing but were imitating the voice of an already existing singer were all eliminated. We wanted to listen to new voices.”
Yang Hyun Suk said, “If you look at how manager Gus Hiddink managed to raise the status of Korean soccer, you’ll know why we did what we did. Out of all the players in the professional soccer league, Hiddink didn’t choose the best players — he chose those who had the greatest potential. To be honest, it’s difficult for anyone to maintain their popularity in the music industry with vocals alone. We’re looking for someone with a voice that has yet to be seen in the industry.”
Yang Hyun Suk also expressed that he feels a good bond between J.Y. Park and BoA after endless hours of judging together. “During our last press conference, I remember joking about how I was worried because I wasn’t close with BoA. …However, after numerous recording sessions and rigorous 17 hour schedules, I feel I’ve become a lot closer with BoA and J.Y. Park.”
He laughed and added, “We didn’t talk that much, but seeing her today like this was very welcoming. The last time we saw each other was actually this morning.” It was reported that the three judges as well as MC Yoon Do Hyun were still on set of the show at 4 AM earlier that day.
In related news, the final winner of “K-Pop Star” will receive prize money worth $260,000 USD along with a contract to produce an album for the worldwide market. They will also receive an additional price of CF contract and a brand new car.
The first broadcast of “K-Pop Star” is scheduled to air this coming December 4th at 6.40 PM KST.

8 November:
Hyped as one of the biggest audition shows yet, SBS‘s ‘Survival Audition K-POP Star” (or “K-POP Star”) finally saw all three of its judges record an episode together for the first time.
On November 7th, Yang Hyun Suk, J.Y. Park, and BoA came together as judges and representatives of the ‘Big 3′ agencies in Korea (YG Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and SM Entertainment). BoA and J.Y. Park already started the audition process for overseas hopefuls, with BoA flying out to L.A. and J.Y. Park coming to New York City.
On this day, however, all three judges came together to oversee auditions as a trio. The first time the judges came on set, they couldn’t help but feel nostalgic over their own audition process. The three thought back to the first time they auditioned to be a star, and shared their personal experiences.
A staff member of the program remarked, ”Judges Yang Hyun Suk, J.Y. Park, and BoA judged the contestants honestly and fairly; while they pointed out strengths, they weren’t afraid to criticize any shortcomings as well. There are a lot of highly qualified contestants so the competition is fierce, and we feel as though this will be the greatest survival audition to find the world’s best K-Pop star. We hope you will look forward to the season, which will kick off in December.”
The names of the judges alone are heightening expectations for the show, but foreign contestants are also becoming one of the key points — demonstrating that the Hallyu wave is blowing strong all across the globe.
The winner of SBS’s “K-Pop Star” will win $300,000 USD and an opportunity to produce their own album with the agency of their choice. They will also gain the chance to film a CF and a personal car as well. The first episode airs sometime in December.
5 October:
Entertainer Boom will be joining SBS‘s audition program, ‘K-POP STAR‘, as an MC alongside the already appointed, Yoon Do Hyun.
After making a strong comeback after the end of his military service, Boom has been bringing much laughter on many variety programs. However, this will be his first time emceeing for an audition program.
Boom revealed his personal affection for audition programs, stating, “Wanting to become a singer at the age of 17, I participated in 12 auditions. So, I know, more than anyone, the passion and desire of the people who participate in auditions. I want to support and protect the ambitious minds of those who wish to become stars… I will help the contestants to compete in the best conditions.”
With Yoon Do Hyun bringing some gravity to the show, Boom will provide the laughs and liven up the atmosphere.
‘KPOP STAR’ production staff stated, “As ‘KPOP STAR’ MCs, Boom will aid Yoon Do Hyun in interacting with the contestants and provide the fun. We are anticipating the big role he will play.”
‘KPOP STAR’ is currently holding auditions around various parts of world, and is scheduled to air in December.
23 September:
Producer J.Y. Park was in the Big Apple from September 17th to the 18th to discover the next big K-Pop star for his new show, SBS‘s “Survival Audition K-POP Star“!
He was recently in Argentina for the first round of auditions, and New York City was his second destination. J.Y. Park was the first of the “Big 3″ judges from JYP Entertainment, SM Entertainment, and YG Entertainment to personally oversee the auditions.
2,000 hopefuls tried out at the New York auditions, and all were from various cultures and backgrounds. Talented people from all walks of life joined the auditions, including a Harvard alumnus, an MIT researcher, models, child actors, and even some ‘American Idol’ tryouts! They came with the sole ambition of becoming the next big K-Pop star, and everyone brought their ‘A-game’ knowing that they’d be standing before one of the biggest names in the Korean music industry.
Although he was harsh and quick to point out even the smallest flaws, J.Y. Park was honest in his judgments, and offered his expertise in an attempt to bring out the best of their talents. He even personally demonstrated some vocal techniques! A few applicants showed immediate improvement after taking his advice, and earned themselves a plane ticket to Korea.
At the end of the day, J.Y. Park expressed that he was “pleased with the applicants’ talents“, and had high expectations for the finalists in the third round. He also predicted that one of the New York applicants could be Hallyu’s next superstar.
A staff member commented, “J.Y. Park personally handed out the flight tickets to the New York City audition finalists,” and that “You will see a side of J.Y. Park that’s never been seen before on TV. He is fierce and straightforward in his judgment and criticism.”
“Survival Audition K-POP Star” is receiving major attention from K-Pop fans around the world, as the biggest names in Korean entertainment are collaborating to discover the next big star. Having closed auditions in South America and New York City, the audition tour will hit Los Angeles, Paris, and Seoul next.
Anyone, regardless of age, gender, and nationality, are welcome to audition if they feel they have what it takes to be the next K-Pop Star. The easiest way to sign up would be through their website. The auditions will begin airing on TV in December of this year.
Stay tuned for more info on this exciting program!

Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment‘s J.Y. Park will also meet the New York contestants in person. He’ll be looking for another star through these U.S. auditions based on their raw potential. Applicants can feel hope in J.Y. Park’s abilities to scout diamonds in the rough, as he was able to mold Taecyeon (who didn’t know how to sing or dance before) and Nichkhun (who had been an ordinary student) into the K-Pop idols they are today.

SBS‘s “KPOP STAR“ has contacted allkpop about some new details regarding its judging process, as well as dates for its live auditions!
For those of you who’ve been out of the loop, “KPOP STAR” has been receiving applications from K-Pop fans all over the world, who hope to one day make it big in the industry. While there have been many star audition programs, SBS felt that a “real star, one who could be the new pioneer to K-Pop’s global expansion, has not yet been discovered“. Accepted applicants will get to showcase their talents in front of industry juggernauts Yang Hyun Suk, J.Y. Park, and BoA – representatives from three of Korea’s top agencies, YG Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and SM Entertainment, respectively.
Unlike other talent search programs that pick a winner based on their singing abilities, “KPOP STAR” will have a survival competition between various groups. Not only will the contestants have to survive as a group, but they’ll also have to face off against one another within the group! It’s a format that aims to foster growth under pressure.
The judges are looking for star qualities, but more than that, they’re looking for a diamond in the rough. “It doesn’t matter if you can’t sing or dance. If you have the potential that we could develop, anyone can become a K-Pop star!,” said YG’s Yang Hyun Suk
After undergoing numerous trials, the winner will receive a phenomenal top prize – the opportunity to debut within the shortest time through the most direct path. The winner will get the unprecedented privilege of deciding which company — SM, YG, JYP — they wish to debut under.
Those who want to give it a shot can audition live in front of judges. The schedule is as follows:

- September 17th – 18th: New York City, New York

Meanwhile, a press conference for SBS’s ’KPOP STAR’ was held a few days ago at the Imperial Palace Hotel. Though allkpop covered some of the questions answered during the press conference, SBS has sent us the full Q&A.
Check it out below:
–
Q. What is the reason behind the companies (SM, YG, and JYP) joining forces to create an audition program?
Park Sung Hoon PD – “I think that ordinary audition programs have a limit. The main essence of an audition program is to produce a star. Many talented individuals have been discovered, but for some reason, their popularity doesn’t seem as strong after the program ends. The making of a real star is the reason why the three companies — SM, YG, and JYP — have joined hands.”
Yang Hyun Suk - “‘KPOP STAR’ is a program that Park Jin Young and I have wanted. Unlike other auditions, we will look at the dancing ability as well as looks, and most importantly, their talent. We will inspect their talents with an objective view as experts. I decided to join because I liked the purpose of making a star.”
J.Y. Park – “A few years ago, while I was having a drink with Yang Hyun Suk, we discussed what it would be like if we started an audition program together. It would be to find the second Big Bang or second Wonder Girls.”
Q. What kind of talent are you looking for?
J.Y. Park – “There will be no distortions for the sake of entertainment. I will pick a person who I would have picked even without this show. In other programs, you have to be able to sing well in order to be picked, however, ‘KPOP STAR’ will pick the person with the biggest potential for growth.”
Yang Hyun Suk – “I like watching ordinary audition programs, but when I talk to YG staff members or other people around me, it turns out that the talents produced from these shows do not sing well enough to beat out other singers in the market. In fact, I suspect that other singers out there sing just as well. As an expert, I will look at their potential rather than their current ability.”
Q. What criteria will you look for in the contestants?
J.Y. Park – “Personally, I like people who are good natured. Wonder Girls, g.o.d., and Rain are all very sincere and modest. They don’t need to make themselves up to try to look good, since they look good because of who they are as a person. Something that they must possess is talent. A talent unique to them, whether it’s their dancing or singing ability, or their expressions, or the feel that they give off. Another is self discipline. If they aren’t a sincere person, it will be hard for them to handle. Sincerity and self discipline are as important as talent.”
Yang Hyun Suk – “I like people who look rough. Of course, they need to have the fundamental personality. Simply, they must look tougher on stage, I prefer people with charisma.”
Q. What will you show us as judges?
J.Y. Park – “I will forget that this is a show and act as I normally do when I judge auditions. I’ll try to show you what I’m really like as much as possible.”
Yang Hyun Suk – “If I act spiteful and bitter, the viewers these days will see through me right away and criticize me. Rather than harsh criticisms, I will give accurate and truthful comments. Rather than praise, I will point out things that need to be corrected and supplemented.”
Q. What do you think about the other judge, BoA?
Yang Hyun Suk - “Truthfully, she’s the one that I worry about the most as well, as look forward to the most. We both do not know BoA personally. To be honest, if Lee Soo Man were to come out on the show, it would make things a little more difficult for us. Even though she doesn’t have producing experience, she has an outstanding ability as a singer so we’ll give her a lot of advice as well as listening to her attentively, and figure out a way for the three of us to get along.”
J.Y. Park – “BoA is highly qualified to be a judge. It is not always the case that singers who are respected and recognized in Korea will have the same recognition overseas. Even though they possess a charm that receives love within Korea, that might not translate overseas. The person that knows the most about that is BoA. I asked for her contact information so that we can have a meal together before the program starts.”
Park Sung Hoon PD – “In my perspective as a director, having three people who have walked the same paths can be troublesome. As a sunbae who has walked the path before, I expect to see a BoA who sympathizes, advises, nods, and sheds tears for the contestants.”
Q. It is said that there could be a difference between the views of the judges and the viewers.
J.Y. Park – “There will probably be a lot of comments like ‘It doesn’t make any sense. This person did better, but why did that person get picked?’ after the program, but we won’t judge with any thought for those comments. I would explain to the viewers why I chose that person as the winner, but if I were scared of being critcized, I would have left before I even started. I will not throw away my opinion.”
Yang Hyun Suk – “I wonder if it’s really necessary to create some kind of story when this is a program to pick a singer. My hope is that there won’t be a movie-like story about a person who came from a less fortunate background making it big. The reason behind the judging is to look for real talent with the hopes of creating the second Big Bang and 2PM. It’s important not to make special allowances for things related to a contestant’s personal life. There will probably be a difference between the judges’ point of view and the viewers point of view on this kind of matter.”
Q. If the program is successful, would you participate in a season 2?
Yang Hyun Suk – “There are so many audition programs being produced, but I hope that this will be the last broadcasted audition program. If a season 2 does come out, I would definitely like to be a part of it with BoA or J.Y. Park again. Like I mentioned earlier, I think that in order for ‘KPOP STAR’ to be successful, a true star must be produced. If season 2 does happen, I would definitely love to be a part of it.”
J.Y. Park – “I also really want to be on the next season, but since I have just recently started as a new actor, I cannot be certain. I will try to be a part of it by controlling my schedule as an actor.”

2 September:
On September 2nd, YG Entertainment’s Yang Hyun Suk and JYP Entertainment’s J.Y. Park came together at the Imperial Palace Hotel to attend the press conference for SBS’s ‘Survival Audition K-Pop Star‘!
As two of three judges on the show, both men discussed their judging styles as well as what they’ll be looking for in their future talents.
Yang Hyun Suk began, “I’m not going to purposely criticize or act over the top for the program’s sake. I’m going to speak the truth, and as opposed to praise, I’m going to explain what they lack in.”
When asked why he joined the program, he said, “Audition programs discovered stars based on their vocal talent, but this show focuses on the discovery of talents through the eyes of a professional based on not only vocal talent, but dance, looks, and skills as wells. I think that the other standard audition programs are fun to watch and have creative content, but if I were to criticize an aspect, it’d be that the stars they produce are only popular for the duration of the show, which is disappointing.”
Yang continued, “Once they make their major debut, they face thousands of other singers who sing just as great, if not better than them. There needs to be consistency, and that’s why I joined the program.”
J.Y. Park added, “We’re not in this to create a fun show. We’re in this to find the next Big Bang or theWonder Girls. We’re not going to distort what we do for the sake of the program, and we’ll be picking and judging as we normally would.”
He continued, “On other programs, applicants need to be exceptional in dancing or singing, but in ours, we’re going to look for potential. We’ll be choosing the applicant with the highest potential of growth. There will inevitably be a difference in opinion between the viewers and our eyes.”
Commenting on the type of trainee that they’ll be choosing, the two gave contrasting answers. Yang revealed, “I’m going to pick the person who looks the most evil. They’ll need character, but I think the ones that look mean and strong on stage are the most charismatic.”
J.Y. Park replied, “I have a tendency of picking nice people. g.o.d., the Wonder Girls, and Rain are really bad at variety shows because they’re shy. I prefer people who are honest and diligent.”
‘Survival Audition K-Pop Star’ will begin broadcasting this December.

The world of music audition programs just got a whole lot more interesting, as it’s been confirmed that Yang Hyun Suk and J.Y. Park will be appearing as guest judges on SBS’s ‘Survival Audition K-Pop Star‘. It will be the first time that such representative and influential figures in the Korean music industry will be making a joint appearance like this.
These two can easily be referred to as ‘Hallyu makers’, standing together at the center of the K-Pop wave. It seems they’ve agreed to judge the auditions in order to find talent capable of shocking the world.
Yang Hyun Suk called ‘Survival Audition K-Pop Star’ a “Talent identification program that holds the rest of the world as its target. We’re capable of seeing talents that the person auditioning may not even realize themselves. I want to people recognize their own talents and help them grow from there.”
J.Y. Park commented, “Age and nationality won’t matter. We’re only interested in dancing, singing, rapping, or any other musical talents and can promise to take care of the rest.”
The show plans to center around YG, JYP and SM Entertainment’s search to find and create the next generation of K-pop stars. The winner of the competition will win an impressive monetary prize, record an album to be released worldwide, and receive CF modeling contracts as well as cars.

To find the next generation of K-pop stars, Korea’s “BIG3″ have come together for an explosive new music audition program!
SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo Man, YG Entertainment’s Yang Hyun Suk, and JYP Entertainment’s J.Y. Park will team up for the upcoming SBS show, “Survival Audition Kpop Star”, which will air its pilot episode in December.
The premise for the program is a competition of talent and survival; Korea’s three big management companies will not only travel Korea to find the next star, but also in various locations around the world. This competition will not focus solely on vocals; other skills and talents will also be judged in order to determine who would be the next Hallyu phenomenon.
According to SBS, “This is not an audition where you can succeed with only vocal skills. This program is open to anyone who can dance, sing, or have talent. This will be an audition where the people who made Korea’s biggest stars will pick the next global star. Simply stating, this is the ultimate audition.”
The winner of this program will win a prize money of 300,000,000 won for the production of his or her album, as well as the opportunity to release the album globally through the three management companies (SM, YG, JYP). Other prizes include an opportunity to sign a contract with a management company, an offer to star in a drama or become a CF model, a free car, and various other opportunities. The first round of auditions will begin on July 5th at 6:00 PM KST through the ARS or SBS homepage.
