Rainbow’s Jisook made fans laugh with her goofy staged photos.

On February 4th, Jisook attached four pictures to a tweet that read, “4-part series of ‘Jisook in a knapsack’, hehehe. The weather is cold nowadays, but in here it’s warm! ehehehehe You could even eat kimbap in here.”

Jisook played a quick game of hide-and-go-seek with the camera, concealing herself in a huge hiking backpack without giving herself away. The adorable idol can be seen peeking out of the bag, before the camera zooms in to take a closer shot.

With hiking brands like The North Face being a hot trend in Korea right now, Jisook’s pixie-like selcas will help the ladies love the trend as well!

In related news, Jisook is currently promoting “Hoi Hoi“ with sub-unit Rainbow Pixie.

Rainbow’s Jisook sent a greeting in calligraphy as she is leaving for Japanese activities.

As Rainbow is currently deciding this weekend when to leave for their debut activities in Japan, Jisook showed her sincere thanks and cheerful support for her fans with a calligraphy greeting. Her calligraphy level showed her hard work as her level was good enough to participate in an elementary school competition.

Jisook wrote, “I’ll do well in Japan and come back, Rainbow fans best ♡“.

Rainbow will debut in Japan on September 14th with their album, ‘A’. The group is already receiving hot attention in Japan.

Rainbow’s Jisook, whose mother passed away recently due to a chronic illness, assured fans that she was coping just fine through a new Twitter update.

On July 12th, she wrote, “Of course, with our Rainbow!  I’m full of strength, strength!  We’re on our way to the airport, swoosh!”

Posing with her fellow members in the car, they can all be seen looking as bright as ever with their obligatory victory signs.

Worried fans replied with relief, “I worried a lot, but it’s great to see you looking so bright”, “Her eyes look a bit swollen, it’s upsetting to see”, “Please find strength, Jisook!”, and “The members must be a great source of help to her.”

Rainbow’s Kim Jisook recently unveiled a heartwarming handwritten letter that she dedicated to her fans and late mother, who unfortunately passed away on July 4th from a chronic disease.

The letter read,

“I’m holding a pen today because I wanted to now express my honesty more than ever before. I feel as though many people were shocked due to the sudden and painful happenings that have happened. It’s been the most heartbreakingly painful, and most weakening times of my life, but I earned courage thanks to everyone’s encouragement, belief, and waiting for me.”

Jisook then went on to thank her group members and company staff for helping her send away her mother.

She added, “Sooner or later, I will return to being the bright and cheerful Jisook of Rainbow, and the cute maknae daughter Jisook.”

“The world’s most beautiful and kind angel, my mother! If I were to be reborn, I want to be reborn as your daughter again.”

It’s been reported that Rainbow member Ji Sook lost her mother to a chronic illness.

According to reports from DSP Entertainment on July 5th, Ji Sook’s mother passed away on July 4th at around 10:00PM due to chronic illness.

Due to this, Ji Sook will not be able to participate with the rest of the members in promoting their comeback. According to DSP Entertainment, Ji Sook will not be on the three music programs and will not appear on any of the schedules that were planned for this week. Also, it was revealed that Rainbow members have cancelled the live radio program, scheduled for July 5th and 6th.

Fans were curious as to why Ji Sook was not on stage during the latest episode of SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’. It was later revealed that Ji Sook was nursing her mother and was unable to perform on that day.
