The star is currently in the States, filming for his new movie, ‘G.I. Joe 2′. He and director Jon Chu (of ‘Step Up 3D’) recently dropped by a haunted house, and the director snapped this photo of Lee Byung Hun getting ready to kick some alien tail.
Lee Byung Hun, who plays the character ‘Storm Shadow’, is working alongside other famous actors like Bruce Willis, Dwayne Johnson (a.k.a ‘The Rock’), Channing Tatum, and more. Filming began in August, and the movie is scheduled to be out sometime next year.

Lee Byung Hun, acted as ‘Storm Shadow‘ in ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra ‘, showing off his smooth English and action acting skills. With the success of his role, it allowed for his success and advancement in Hollywood.
In ‘GI Joe 2′, Lee Byung Hun, Channing Tatum (who played ‘Duke‘), and Ray Park (who played ‘Snake Eyes‘) will be the only actors returning from the first movie to reprise their roles in the sequel. However, stars such as Arnold Vosloo, ‘The Rock’ Dwyane Johnson, Ray Stevenson, and Elodie Young will act in the sequel as new faces.
Lee Byung Hun’s agency, BH Entertainment, stated, “After leaving for America yesterday, he is trying to adjust to the time difference and also further analyze his character. After spending time to prepare for his film, he is planning to concentrate on filming. Please expect for ‘Storm Shadow’ and a different appeal.”
The movie, ‘GI Joe 2′ will begin filming in New Orleans starting on August 15th and will be released next year on August 10, 2012.

The Studio Harcourt, known for its photoshoots of Hollywood’s famous stars and outstanding personalities of France, was founded in 1934 by the Lacroix brothers. Currently located in Paris, the studio is known for its signature black and white headshot-type photos.
This year had marked the first time that the Studio Harcourt planned specific shoots for Asian clients. As they were searching for a qualified male actor for the shoot, the studio heard the news that Lee Byung Hun was in France, in the midst of filming. The photoshoot was completed within a day.
A photoshoot representative stated,
“Lee Byung Hun, who encompasses both Asia and Hollywood, is a supreme actor being the first Asian model at the Studio Harcourt. It is very strange that Lee Byung Hun just happened to be in France at the time. I think it wasn’t an accident, it was inevitable.“
Meanwhile, Lee Byung Hun has been busy filming for his upcoming Hollywood film “G.I. Joe 2“. Soon, he will be crossing over to America to officially begin filming for the movie and is currently completing other schedules before his departure for an extended stay in America.

On June 13th, Hollywood Report revealed that excluding Channing Tatum, Ray Park, and Lee Byung Hun, the cast of the first movie has been overhauled.
Actress Elodie Yung is currently in talks of joining the line-up.
Although Lee Byung Hun’s character, ‘Storm Shadow’, was presumably dead in the first movie, producers have revealed that he will be returning with a new, more powerful image.
Lee Byung Hun will be leaving for the States this month to begin his preparations for filming, which is scheduled for late July or early August.

It was reported that Lee Byung Hun donated the 7 hundred billion won through Red Cross. The Red Cross is planning to use Lee’s donation plus other general donations towards Japan’s restoration funds.
Hallyu star Lee Byung Hun is known to receive top star treatment in Japan. After the earthquake hit Japan, Lee left an early message of support and encouragement for Japanese citizens through his official homepage on March 13th.
