16 December:
2PM’s Nichkhun will now be standing shoulder-to-shoulder with famous celebrities from all over the world — or at least, his wax doppelganger will.
On December 16th, representatives of JYP Entertainment revealed, “The wax figure of 2PM’s Nichkhun has been on display at the Madame Tussauds in Bangkok since November 29th.”
Madame Tussards is known as a popular tourist attraction with bevy of star-studded wax figures, such as Beyonce, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Obama, and George Clooney. The wax figures are so detailed that each cost about $150,000 USD to produce.
Nichkhun received the honor of being the second Hallyu star to be included in the exhibit; the first was actor Bae Yong Joon, whose wax figure is on display in Hong Kong. Nichkhun visited Bangkok on December 7th to participate in his wax figure production and was joined by hundreds of fans waiting to see the progress.
Because of 2PM’s Japanese schedules, he wasn’t able to participate in the launch event. However, he sent a special video message to the museum to express his gratitude.
Representatives of JYP Entertainment stated, “With K-Pop being loved all around the world, it’s an extremely meaningful event to have 2PM’s Nichkhun stand alongside popular international figures at Madame Tussauds. He’ll be able to indirectly meet with more fans through this wax figure, and we believe that it was because of his fans’ love that such an event became possible.”

Many programs and people have acknowledged that these two look very alike. This time around, Moon Mason came on the “2PM Show” and had the opportunity to actually meet Nichkhun for the first time.
Up until now, there have only been photos comparing the two, not photos of the two of them together. As soon as this one was revealed on Moon Mason’s minihompy, it has caused quite a stir online.
In the upcoming “2PM Show”, the members are taking on the challenge of becoming dads. 2PM invited Moon Mason and his brothers for an audition round.

A recent photo of 2PM’s Nichkhun has once again brought light to his unrealistically small head size.
On May 18th, a picture was uploaded on a community board of the 2PM members posing for a photo during their “Music Japan” appearance.
The members all posed for the picture during the shooting of “Music Japan” at NHK’s studio, where the members exchanged their CD with Japanese singer Mizuki Arisa and showed their pearly whites for the friendly photo.
That wasn’t the focus of the picture for netizens though, as Nichkhun’s small head size was highlighted yet again, as his head size rivals the size of the album he’s holding in the picture.

Is 2PM’s Nichkhun a married man? Well according to a false report made by a Thai newspaper, the idol is now off the market.
Recently, Nichkhun, his family, and JYP Entertainment staff members went to visit the King of Thailand at the hospita he was staying at. A popular Thai newspaper reported on Nichkhun’s visit but made an error when they said, “Nichkhun with his mother and wife made a hospital visit to the King“.
In the article, the woman who was mistaken as Nichkhun’s wife was actually a female publicist working for JYPE. Her gorgeous looks dazzled the Thai reporter, and as it turns out, she once competed in the Miss University pageants during her college days.
A JYP representative explained,
“Famous people who visit Thailand make a point to visit the King.
While Thai fans were proud to see Nichkhun make a hospital visit to the King, they were taken aback to see the false report about his ‘wife’.'”

Nichkhun wooed the crowd with a clean cut suit, and satisfied each and every fan waiting in line by giving autographs and packets of candy as gifts.
White Day is a nationally celebrated day in Korea, whereby the men send flowers and candy to their significant others.

On February 23rd, LG U+ announced, “We picked beloved Nichkhun and his family to be the new spokesmodels for ‘International Calling 002‘. It’s officially the first time for Nichkhun and his family to both star in a CF together“.
The phone service company added, “International Calling 002’s slogan, ‘Long~call, small fees’, actually matches Nichkhun’s family situation. We believe that using Nichkhun in our ads will heighten the customers’ understanding of and connection to us.”
The CF saw Nichkhun talking comfortably with each member of his extended family for a long time. The ad was filmed in Thailand, and although the weather was hot and humid, the 2PM star did not lose his smile throughout filming. Nichkhun recently became a spokesmodel for “J.ESTINA“, a popular jewelry brand worn by the beloved figure skater, Kim Yuna.
After using Lydia Hearst, one of the world’s richest heiresses, for the beginning of their 2011 campaign, “J.ESTINA” has now turned to Nichkhun for the brand’s first ever male spokesmodel.
A representative for the popular jewelry brand said, “Nichkhun has a cute and gentle image so we thought he’d be the perfect prince for our ‘J.ESTINA’ princess. He showed off his great manners at the shoot, making everyone believe that he is really a prince. Through this campaign, we hope everyone feels J.ESTINA’s lovely sentiment“.
