On February 9th, Yoo Seung Ho attended his graduation ceremony at Baekshin High School, wearing his high school uniform for the last time. While he was there, he greeted his teachers and classmates with a smile.
It’s being reported that the actor seemed a little embarrassed by the amount of press at the event, but nevertheless, he posed cheerfully with his diploma for the cameras.
Yoo Seung Ho was born in 1993, and he’s already garnered an impressive acting resume. He’s starred in MBC’s ‘Flames of Ambition‘ as well as SBS’s “Warrior Baek Dong Soo“. He was also in the popular movie, ‘Blind’, and is currently on TV Chosun‘s ‘Operation Proposal‘.

With this in mind, Yoo Seung Ho decided to reject special admissions offers from prestigious universities.
Representatives of his agency revealed, “He’s received special admissions offers from a few colleges in Korea, but he respectfully declined all of them. Rumors regarding his special admissions to a certain college as a political diplomacy major are unfounded.”
The representatives continued to explain, “He doesn’t have the time to attend school due to his busy schedule. Even if he were to accept those offers, he would not be able to keep up with his studies. After deciding that he did not want this to affect other students, he has decided to forego college for the time being.”
In addition, they stated, “College will be something Seung Ho will decide on his own when he’s older and has more time. We hope that this decision will allow at least one more student to be admitted to college. This decision has already been concluded after much discussion with him and his parents.”
Oftentimes, stars who accept special admissions offers are put on the chopping block for various issues relating to whether they actually deserve to be admitted. One of the more frequent arguments netizens bring up is that stars tend to prioritize their careers over academic attendance and study. 30 July:
Although his injury required surgery to right the cheekbone injury, his doctors have allowed him to return to the filming set of his drama, ‘Warrior Baek Dong Soo‘.
His doctors have warned that he must not allow the fractured area of his face to bump into anything. With the swelling down, Yoo Seung Ho thought that it was best to return as quickly as possible.
Representatives revealed, “Yoo Seung Ho was determined to come back because he did not want to stand in the way of others (interrupt filming).” The decision was said to have been made after much discussions with the actor, his mother, and producers.
On the day of his return, producers supported his come back with cake and providing ample opportunity for him to rest. Producers will be editing the script to cut down on his action scenes.
29 July:
At around noon on July 29th, the actor was on his way to film for SBS drama, ‘Warrior Baek Dong Soo’, when the vehicle he was in crashed on the highway. Sources revealed that the accident was serious enough for the car to get scrapped.
Yoo Seung Ho was immediately taken to the Seoul Samsung Hospital, where he received emergency treatment for possible injuries. A representative of the drama staff revealed to Enews24, “Due to the accident, Yoo Seung Ho suffered from a fracture on his face, near his cheekbone area. We will take a more thorough look at his situation after test results are out.”
Due to the incident, the drama is currently in a state where it can’t film without its main character. The drama’s PD Choi Kyung Sun revealed, “We have currently shifted the schedule around so we can film the other characters’ scenes that do not involve Yoo Seung Ho.”
CP Lee Hyun Jik also stated,”The health of Yoo Seung Ho comes first, however, we will do our best so that the incident does not interfere with the filming.”
Yoo Seung Ho was rushed to a hospital nearby, as the severity of the crash totalled the entire car.
A representative from his agency explained, “We, too, are surprised with this news. We are currently on our way to the hospital and are also worried because it does not seem like a small accident. We will reveal more information as we find out.”
The film schedule for July 29th has been canceled. A representative for the drama said, “We are watching over the situation, but have canceled the schedule for today. We’re not sure what will happen in the future, as it depends on Yoo Seung Ho’s condition.”
