T-ara member Eunjung is determined to stand on the ‘M! Countdown‘ stage on the 5th.
The singer tore a ligament in her left ankle while walking on stage at the MBC ‘Gayo Daejaejun‘ on December 31st. She is determined to do whatever it takes to stand on stage for their “Lovey Dovey” debut stage.

Eunjung was selected to be one of the emcees for the ’2011 MBC Gayo Daejaejun’ which was broadcasted live on December 31st. While Eunjung’s fellow MCs dressed in elegant fashion for the event, Eunjung was captured wearing questionable pink slippers with her beautiful long dress.
Many viewers were amused at the fashion choice, and Eunjung later explained, “I was wearing the pink slippers during MBC’s ‘Gayo Daejaejun’ because I accidentally tripped while going down the stairs.”
She also added, “They told me that they wouldn’t do a full-shot so I was also surprised when I saw the screen… hot pink slippers with a black dress… I guess it could have been worse.”
On January 2nd, Eunjung shared an updated about her sprained ankle while on the set of her drama, ‘Queen Insoo‘. ”Currently shooting for ‘Queen Insoo,” she said. “I’m constantly massaging my ankle while chanting, ‘Get a hold of yourself, please heal ankle’. Every year at about the same time of year, I become a slave to crutches. Pray for me so that it can heal faster! Complaining while I’m massaging my ankle.”

15 November:
T-ara‘s Eunjung made headlines yesterday after falling off a horse while filming for drama ‘Queen Insoo‘. Today, the idol gave an update on her conditions, assuring fans of her safety.
Eunjung stated in an interview with Joongang Ilbo newspaper, “Yesterday I fell off a horse during filming, but I’ve received treatment at the hospital and thankfully, I’m fine now. It’ll improve after a bit of time passes.”
When asked about her character in the drama and horseback riding, Eunjung answered, “I heard that not everyone was so passive during the Joseon dynasty. Not much is known about Insoo’s childhood, and the horseback riding scene was inserted to show that she was a strong, independent woman who was ahead of her time.”
She also commented on the burden of acting in a historical drama stating, “Honestly, I have lots of interest in history. I like historical dramas a lot, and I had a experience with historical drama when I was younger. Wearing ethnic Korean clothing and acting was fun. I wanted to do it because I got to play the younger version of senior Chae Shi Ra.”
The first episode of ‘Queen Insoo’ will be on December 3rd at 9PM KST on JTBC.

In the first photo, Eunjung looks adorable as she sleeps with her hands folded primly over her stomach. In the other two photos, it looks like she’s passed all sense of composure, as she was snapped in a completely KO’d state.
Between filming for MBC’s ‘We Got Married‘, T-ara’s “Roly-Poly” activities, remaking the song “Round and Round“, for T-ara’s follow-up, and preparing for T-ara’s Japanese debut, it’s no wonder the girl’s exhausted. Eunjung had mentioned in the past that she tries to get as much sleep as possible whenever she has the opportunity. As a result, whoever’s closest to her at the time always manages to snap a hilarious photo of her without fail.
Although she previously declared that she would no longer be photographed while sleeping, Eunjung has now managed to earn the cute nickname of ‘our nation’s sleepyhead‘.

On July 18th, Eunjung tweeted “Dokgo Jin-ssi! Even though ‘The Greatest Love’ ended, this is a present to ‘Dokgo Jin-ssi’ whom I miss” and uploaded a photo of herself posing with a water bottle that had a special ‘Dokgo Jin’ sticker on it.

She perfectly captured the pure essence of a nice morning with her creamy milky complexion and clean appearance. In one picture, she reveals what she will make for breakfast with a cute wink.

“White” has been headlining ever since plans for its production were released. It’s the first time that a horror movie revolved around the cruel world of idols for its plot, tackling controversial issues like stars being assaulted by their managers and being sold for sponsorships.
Eunjung began, “I thought it’d be an ironic kind of fun for an idol to star in a movie that criticizes idols. There isn’t any severe sense of competition amongst the members like how the movie depicts. It’s human nature to want to wear something better and look prettier than the rest. The negative aspects portrayed in the movie are exaggerated. The entertainment industry is still made up of human beings. Still, it is difficult in that we can’t eat or sleep properly. The most hours I’ve slept in a week is a day I slept for four hours.”
Commenting on her acting, she continued, “I loved acting because I could express myself. That’s why I chose acting as my major in college. I love singing and dancing and received an opportunity to promote with T-ara. I was a bit nervous as a T-ara member for three to four years, and thought I wouldn’t be able to act. I, too, stereotyped idols by thinking that you were only an idol because you had nothing better to do. But now, I know that being an idol is as hard as any other profession.”
When asked if acting was difficult for her since she entered the industry at a young age and didn’t have time to really experience the real world, she replied, “I love this question. I was worried when I was younger over things like that and even complained to my mom, ‘Love is always in my script but I’ve never felt such an emotion. Can’t I love?’ Instead, I try to indirectly experience things through movies and books. Lately, I’ve been trying to remember every person that I pass by.”
Concluding the interview, she said, “I just want to do well. I’d like to try a rough role, or something really dark. Maybe also a character so upbeat and bubbly, that she confuses you. I like action as well. I’m a third level in Tae Kwon Do, you know.”

On May 27th, T-ara’s Eunjung posted several pictures from the set of her new drama, “King Geunchogo“. She first tweeted, “With King Gu Soo and King Yeo Geun…! The concept is ‘easy girl.’ Playing powder with steamed buns and playing Chunhyang -.- kekekekeke.”
Eunjung attached four pictures that she took with her drama beau, actor Park Gun Il. The two are seen displaying a variety of friendly expressions and even posing by a swing while ‘playing Chunhyang’.

In a recent interview with Newsen, Eunjung shyly stated, “Our hands once touched for about three seconds and it felt so unnatural, I remember asking him to let go. I’m actually cool with skinship and would even ask if I could hold hands, but I feel that it’s too early for now.”
When told that the Khuntoria couple had a back hug and that the Adam couple even kissed, Eunjung was asked whether she felt confident enough to pull off skinship of that level. Visibly shocked, she shouted out, “No!! Did they really kiss on the lips?”
She continued, “We did do a few skinships not worth mentioning. I once even started counting. I never intended to reject his skinship but I’m still so shy and everything feels like it’s moving too fast. Lee Jang Woo plays a lot of jokes. We can’t kiss like the Jo Kwon and Ga-In couple, but we will work our way out slowly and naturally.”

On April 11th, the idol refuted the rumor, saying, “I’m close to Kim Soo Hyun but a dating rumor is just just out of the blue.”
Eunjung became close to the actor while filming KBS2TV’s “Dream High“. After the drama ended, she was picked to endorse ‘SPRIS‘ alongside him, which gave enough room for a dating rumor to be formed. There were even rumors about how the two would be the next couple on MBC’s “We Got Married“.
The idol stated, “I’m not only close to Kim Soohyun, but Suzy, Taecyeon, and the other idols as well. We have been contacting each other even after the drama ended. I think the rumors formed because we had also filmed an ad together.”
She added, “After seeing an article about Kim Soo Hyun and I becoming partners for “We Got Married”, I thought that rumors were scary as people made them out to be. When we met at a shoot, I asked him what he was doing the day I had my “We Got Married” filming and he said he was resting at home.
