Actor So Ji Sub and actress Han Hyo Joo have been receiving much fame and success with their latest movie yet to be screened, ‘Only You‘.

On September 26th, tickets went on sale for reservation for the upcoming ‘16th Busan Film Festival’, and ‘Only You’ set an astonishing record by selling all 2,000 tickets in seven seconds!

The movie broke the previous record, which was held by ‘Under the Hawthorne Tree‘ with an 18 second sellout time at the ‘15th Busan Film Festival’.

‘Only You’ is about a love story between former boxer Chul Min (played by So Ji Sub), and Jung Hwa(Han Hyo Joo), who plays a woman that gradually loses her eyesight after a terrible accident.

The first screening will take place on October 6th, so stay tuned!

Actress Han Hyo Joo sported a shocking ’super curly’ perm hairstyle change on the set of her upcoming movie!

On May 19th, pictures of actor So Ji Sub and Han Hyo Joo on the set of their movie, “Only You“, were uploaded onto an online portal site.

In the pictures, So Ji Sub is seen wearing a vintage outfit with a bushy hairstyle, and his look is very reminiscent to his character from the 2004 KBS drama “I’m Sorry, I Love You“.

Han Hyo Joo, on the other hand, displayed a shocking look that nobody has ever seen from her before. However, netizens were drawn to the fact that her beauty was unwavering.

They commented, “That kind of hairstyle is shocking”, “Is it a movie that puts emphasis on hairstyles?”,and “Is the perm this year’s fad? Awesome.”

It was recently revealed that actor So Ji Sub has been undergoing an intense boxing training program for his upcoming new drama/romance movie, “Only You“, co-starring actress Han Hyo Joo.

In order for a complete transformation into his boxer role for the movie, the actor has been receiving rigorous training from legitimate boxing coaches, with an exercise regime that includes consistent weight training, skipping, cardio, as well as more boxing-specific drills such as sandbag kicking, shadow-boxing, and sparring.

What impressed the coaches was So Ji Sub’s strong dedication and his ability to quickly adjust himself to the sport, which came faster than expected. Producers of “Only You” have revealed that the actor will in fact have a real-life match against K1 professional fighter Whee Seung Bae for the movie shooting, and with So Ji Sub’s consistent training in the sport, producers are expecting to film a fight as visually realistic as possible.
So Ji Sub’s character in the movie is a man who gives up everything he has for a girl he’s fallen in love with. Not only will viewers be able to see the charms of So Ji Sub’s unpolished beauty, but they will also be treated with the character’s pure and innocent emotions for the woman of his dreams.
“Only You” is slated for release this coming fall.

So Ji Sub and Han Hyo Joo have begun filming for their new movie, “Only You“! On April 4th, Show Box Mediaplex revealed, “On March 31st, So Ji Sub and Han Hyo Joo held their first filming together at a vet hospital in Seoul.”

Directed by Song Il Gon, the film details the fate-like love story between a former boxer who’s lived a rough-and-tumble life and a blind, but confident woman.

Han Hyo Joo plays the role of the blind ‘Jung Hwa’. Though she’s known for her cute and naive characters in other dramas and CFs, she gained a more mature angle after it was discovered that she was living with a blind person in order to better study her role.

Meanwhile, So Ji Sub will play ‘Chul Min’, a former boxer-turned-water deliveryman who can barely make his ends meet and is literally living hour-to-hour.

The movie will hit theaters this fall.

Actress Han Hyo Joo has been cast as the heroine for the melodrama movie, “Only You“.
A representative of HB Entertainment revealed, “On the 8th, after discussions with our investor, Showbox, we’ve decided to go with Han Hyo Joo as the heroine. Her pure and innocent charm, as well as her sharp acting skills led to our decision.”
For her third movie, after “My Boss, My Teacher” and “Heaven’s Postman“, Han Hyo Joo has been upgraded to the lead role, and she will be acting alongside actor So Ji Sub.
“Only You” is a heartwarming story about a love shared between an ex-boxer and a girl who is losing her sight. All for this one girl, the man throws away his destiny. The male character, who draws on both sacrifice and love, became a much discussed topic among the actors.
At one time, actor Ryu Seung Bum was cast for the male lead, but he was replaced by So Ji Sub when the production company changed. Also, it was revealed that Moon Bo Mi -  a representative of the production company – directly gave the movie script to Ha Jiwon, Moon Geun Young, Park Bo Young, Han Hyo Joo, and others.
The budget for “Only You” is said to be 25 billion won ($22.3 million) and there’s been much interest for this movie because it will be Director Song Il Gon’s first commercial film. He has already shown his talent for visual aesthetics through ‘Flower Island‘(2001), ‘Spider Forest‘ (2004), ‘Wizards‘ (2006), ‘Dance of Time‘ (2009) and more. Because of So Ji Sub’s busy schedule, they plan to start shooting the movie in March and continue until June.
