A Pink had released their album ‘Hush‘ at the beginning of May, and member Na-Eun suffered from a ligament injury just before their comeback. The injury is in the same area where the singer was hurt right before the group’s debut. With their comeback coming up, Na-Eun had suffered from physical as well as mental stress, especially with the doctors warning her about her weakened ligament that has left her with an uncertain future in the performance industry.
In a recent interview with Newsen, Na-Eun revealed, “I’ve been injured there before so the ligament was particularly injury-prone.” She continued, “The hospital said, ‘The ligament is very weak. It’s in very critical condition.’ The injury hurt, but I felt especially sorry to my members, since our comeback was only 2 weeks away.”
Furthermore, she added, “In the end, because of me, we had to push back the comeback by two weeks,” and “I went to the music video shootings and practices, but I wasn’t able to perform properly.”
The other members commented, “It was really hard for Na-Eun emotionally. She was already injured physically, but the emotional toll was just as bad. We felt so terrible when we saw her in the apartment crying by herself.”
Na-Eun ended the interview saying, “I have recovered a lot. The members have been so helpful. It’s no problem going on the stage. However, I am being more careful so the injury does not recur.”

On December 12th, Na Eun left a message through A Pink’s official SNS account, which read: “Waiting for a broadcast. Here’s one picture cut. Blowing a kiss to all of our fans. Look forward to us. We’ll be uploading pictures of the other members soon.”
Na Eun is widely known as the ‘visual’ of the group, and she lives up to the title by looking adorable in a pleated top and a matching white ribbon.

29 June:
On June 29th, Son Na Eun tweeted, “Eun Kyung-ie, a friend whom I haven’t seen in a long time!!…We had fun times sharing stories of this and that. After watching ‘Sunny’, all our members became Eun Kyung’s fans. Next time, let’s hang out and have more fun,” along with a couple pictures of the two.
Later that day, Son Na Eun’s company stated, “We are aware that Son Na Eun met up with Shim Eun Kyung during her rare free time…The two were friends since long before.”

With the first picture, the idol tweeted, “My younger sister who I haven’t seen in a very long time. She’s a little taller than me so I have to look up to her…I seem like the dongsaeng now. She’s the same except for her height.” The two posed adorably with oranges, which also served to protect Na Eun’s sister from being fully revealed.

Unfortunately, the explosive attention led to her personal mini-homepage being hacked, and Na Eun decided to shut it down for good.
On February 10th, representatives of A Cube confirmed, “On the 9th, we received notice that Son Na Eun’s homepage was hacked, which is why she closed it.”
Through Star News, A Cube also revealed that their new seven member girl group was scheduled for a debut as early as next month.
“Including Son Na Eun, the seven girls will be debuting under the name of ‘A Pink’ in March, or by April the latest. The seven are currently focusing on recording and choreography rehearsals,” they revealed.
A Cube further added, “Aside from Son Na Eun, we cannot reveal the rest of the six members, or their concept and promotion plans for now.”
