On February 8th, Junsu tweeted, “Happy birthday to my beloved mom! [It's] January 7th, according to the lunar calendar! I love you, mom..!”
The idol attached a photo of his mom in her younger years, and fans were struck by her elegant beauty.

2PM‘s Junsu has shared some reflections after his father’s passing.
On January 26th, a calm and composed Junsu tweeted, “I never knew what it meant to always be thankful for what you have, but I now realize how thankful I am to have my family by my side.”
He continued, “Now I must be stronger as a new father of my family. Thank you all for praying for my father. You don’t have to worry about me anymore. I’ll become stronger!”
Junsu’s father suddenly passed away after a heart attack on the 19th, and his fellow celebrities and friends have offered their prayers and condolences.
Netizens who saw Junsu’s tweet wrote, “Be strong. He is in a better place“, “Make sure you eat. We’re rooting for you“, and “Be strong! We want to see your smile.”
May his father rest in peace, and we hope that Junsu remains strong through these difficult times.

A recent photo and comment revealed some news about 2PM‘s Junsu being hospitalized due a knee injury.
Hong Q posted the photo above and tweeted, “Junsu, hurry up and recover your knees so you can shuffle dance. Don’t get hurt in the new year! ^^”.
Junsu also sent a tweet to One Way Chance writing, “Hyung I miss you”, to which Chance responded,“What is this.. I came back from America and you’re in the hospital… ㅠㅠ Hurry up and recover Junsu!! Miss u bro! I’m so sad that you are hurting ㅠㅠㅠㅠ.. My dongseng don’t be in pain ㅠㅠㅠ”.
Hong Q also added, “His knees were bad so when his schedule was open, he underwent knee surgery“.
Upon seeing the photo worried netizens commented, “OMO!!! PLEASE TELL ME THIS ISNT REAL! T.T”, and “Hope you heal fast”.

2PM member Junsu who embarked on a solo project as ‘Jun. K‘ has been extremely successful with his new single “Alive“.
He recently reached the top of the Melon music charts, as well as seizing the #1 spot on Cyworld.
Junsu has proven himself as a musician, writing his own songs that display his unique sense of music with tracks like “HOT“, “Sunshine” and “Don’t Go” which were first featured during 2PM’s Hands Up Asia Tour.
The track expresses Junsu’s fresh music taste, and has an orchestra chorus feel, harmonizing with a hip hop beat. Junsu’s distinctly sensuous vocal melodies does not disappoint, while the rap in the track is also very impressive.
The other 2PM members are also highly supportive. Photos of the members visiting his album jacket photo shoot to support him were uploaded via Real 2PM, as well as via Junsu’s me2day on the 8th.

2PM hottie Jun. K (Junsu) is returning to the spotlight with his very own solo debut!
On the morning of October 5th, a brand new concept photo revealed that the idol underwent an intense transformation. There’s no question that Jun. K has always oozed a certain masculine appeal, but with these latest photos, the singer’s stepped up his game and is looking as sexy as ever.
Impressing both fans and music aficionados with his self-composed track “HOT” and guest-featuring inKan Mi Youn‘s “Sunshine”, Jun. K has proved himself to be not only an apt singer, but a well-rounded musician as well. Indeed, a spokesperson from JYP commented, “It’ll be good to have high hopes and expectations from Jun. K to go beyond his pop idol status to a musician in a new direction.”
The concept photos play with a dramatic monochrome color scheme with a dash of red, showcasing Jun. K in two full suits: a red one matched with a unbutton black shirt and chain necklaces, and a black one with a white button-up and a black bow tie.

On September 22nd, Japan’s Sankei Sports reported that 2PM‘s Junsu will be working with Japanese R&B artist DOUBLE for the very first time.
Junsu will be using his solo name ‘Jun. K‘ for his featuring in DOUBLE’s newest track, “Count 3″. The song will be included in her upcoming album, “Woman“, scheduled for release on October 5th.
DOUBLE had previously thought of retiring from the industry after having to go on hiatus in 2009 for gastroenteritis. She said she refueled her creativity after listening to K-Pop and was moved by 2PM’s vocal and performance style, which is why she approached Junsu to work with her for her comeback as a singer.
Junsu stated, “She helped me get comfortable, and thanks to her, I feel like we made something great.” Double stated, “He’s a very positive and respectful person. Very caring, a true gentleman.”
7 July:
2PM’s Junsu revealed a picture of himself with a dog, sleeping by each others’ side.
On July 7th, Junsu tweeted, “My friend got a dog. He sleeps the same way as me.”
In the photo, the two curl up to a cushion and pillow respectively, and fans smiled over Junsu’s playful mimicry.

2PM’s fine lead vocalist, Junsu was given the opportunity to show off his true talent as a singer. He has chosen to be the new addition to the ‘I’m a Singer‘ Idol edition, of KBS 2TV ‘Immortal Song 2‘.
During an interview which was held on June 21st, just 3 days before 2PM’s comeback, Junsu gave the comment, “When they first asked me to be a part of the show, I was under a lot of pressure. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to handle both the comeback and the show.” However, Junsu also said, “When I told the members of the situation, they told me that it would be a great opportunity. In the end, I accepted the offer with confidence.”
In addition Junsu admitted, “After the first recording, I realized that remaking the song and preparing a performance in accordance with that song all within a week wasn’t easy. The time given was way too short.”
Junsu had entered the show carrying concern and pressure; however, he revealed that he has had an epiphany through this opportunity. “Before debuting as the group 2PM, I wanted to become a singer because I loved music. Doing this show, I felt as before and was able to the relive that feeling. I was also able to find my true color.” he also shared, “Remaking various songs of all different genre was a good practice for me as a song writer.”
Fellow member Chansung showed his concern while praising Junsu’s passion. He said, “Junsu had to give up sleep in order to practice for his performance on the show even after our comeback practice ended really late. I felt pity towards him when I saw him the next day with severe, zombie-like bags under his eyes.” However, Chan Sung lavished Junsu with compliments and showed support when he stated, “But I see that he is doing something that he is passionate about. I’m always rooting for him. I hope that the results would be good as well.”
After the first shoot, Junsu said, “Everyone did so well on their remakes of the songs. I can’t really pick a rival at this point but personally, I think that I should keep my boundary from SISTAR’s Hyorin.” He also added, “I knew Hyorin since before her debut and her singing as well as her performance was remarkable.”
2PM is coming back after 8 months with their 2nd Album, ‘Hands Up‘. Junsu actually wrote the song “Hot” in this album proving his potential and ability as a song writer.
5 June:
On June 5th, 2PM’s Junsu shared a photo from his rehearsal room in Tokyo, showing off his fashionable style.
The star tweeted, “I’m currently practicing at our rehearsal room in Tokyo.”
Fans noticed that he was dressed to impress even while just rehearsing and noticed his unintentional style match with the drum set next to him.

1 Maret:
On February 24th, 2PM’s Junsu was admitted into the bachelor program for Performing Arts at the Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts. The idol will be starting his new semester as a fourth year student.
Junsu graduated from the broadcasting/entertainment department with a major, and he received a full scholarship for his performing arts major. If he completes one more year, he will graduate from the institute with his bachelor’s degree.
The idol reflected, ”There were many talented and passionate classmates at Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts, but because of my activities as a singer, it was always a great pity that I wasn’t able to spend much time with them. I re-entered school because I wanted to study acting, which will be the foundation for my broadcasting activities.”
Junsu’s classmates includes 2AM’s Changmin, and it was revealed that gagment Byun Seung Yoon and Noh Woo Jin were admitted into his program as freshmen, making them Junsu’s college juniors.

8 Februari: Junsu has been quite busy these days on the composing end, as he was discovered to be working with Kan Mi Yeon on an upcoming duet release.
A UCC video has been circulating on the net, in which Junsu and Kan Mi Yeon are seen teaching each other their respective dialects while in the recording studio.
The two will be coming together with a special re-arrangement of a track that Junsu composed four years ago. The two are known to be good friends, and Junsu presented Kan Mi Yeon with the song in support of her impending comeback.

2PM’s Junsu unveiled his debut track as a composer for Part 6 of KBS2TV’s “Dream High” OST. Titled ”Don’t Go“, the song was a collaborative effort between ‘Jun.K‘ (Junsu’s composer name), One Way’s Chance, J-Lim, and guitarist Sam Lee.
Recently, footage from the recording studio was released through ‘Real2PM‘.
In the video, Junsu is shown in a more serious light, which differs from what most fans are used to seeing. He’s found giving vocal directions to his music industry senior, J-Lim, as he perfects the recording of his song.
During the recording, Junsu expressed that he was very glad to be able to work with J-Lim, and that he felt very nervous. He also mentioned that the she helped him a lot during his trainee days. Chance commented that this was a collaboration of the greatest male and female vocalists.
