Back on May 25th, 2PM‘s Taecyeon tweeted, “Hello everyone, how did you like the songs that I wrote? ‘Kiss‘ and ‘After you Left Me‘?? ㅋㅋㅋㅋ I sang my first songs that I wrote on stage for the very first time. As I promised, I will upload them on the official cafe if these songs aren’t released as a digital single or on an album.”
He performed the track “After You Left Me” at the Six Beautiful Days concert in Japan and it was captured on fancam. It seems the song has a feature from Wonder Girls member Yenny and he performed the track admirably even though his arm was in a cast.

The singer wrote on his Twitter at around 3pm on March 24th, “I see the price of bus fare went up. Since when? I got on without having any change and was showered with a bunch of coins.”
With side swept bangs covering one of his eyes and dressed warmly in a large coat and woolen hat, it must have been difficult for fans to recognize the star.

21 Feb:
The Business Administration major who is currently in his fourth year at Dangook University participated in producing the ‘Talent Donation’ project album, ‘Blue Bears With Taecyeon‘. Their title song “Wings” was written and composed by Life Music and the Dangook University students, and Taecyeon personally penned the rap lyrics. A re-make of the 90′s classic hit “A Night Like Tonight” was also included in the album, complete with an original rap written by Taecyeon himself. The singer also features in the MV for “Wings”, an original project produced by the students.
Taecyeon along with Yang Ji Hoon & Song Jae Young of Life Music 3, as well as Lee Bong Jinwho oversaw the planning and production of the album have plans to donate the profits from this new album to the university.
Taecyeon will be performing the songs for the first time at the matriculation ceremony to take place on February 23rd. Singing live, he will be congratulating his juniors who are starting college for the very first time.
The school will continue to develop the skills and talents of the students, alumni, and the professors in order to put on performances and put together more talent donation projects in the future.

On December 5th, Taecyeon tweeted, “Met the morning in Osaka. I got up early and went to the Osaka Castle. The start of our arena tour is Osaka!! Let’s do well! Go go!”

2 September:
During 2PM’s first concert for their ‘Hands Up Asia Tour‘ held on September 2nd, member Taecyeoninjured his leg while on stage, causing many fans to worry.
Taecyeon’s injury has been reported to stem from the excess amounts of exercise and training prior to the concert.
Despite suffering from extreme knee pain, his fellow members of 2PM helped Taecyeon up to complete the stage just for their fans. Staff members at the concert were standing by and a bit worried, as were the fans. Although Taecyeon and Wooyoung shed some tears, he was able to pull through.
Shortly after the concert, a JYP representative reported to Seoul NTN, “Taecyeon previously injured his knee during the JYP Nation performance back in August. He will be sure to rest, and medical attention will be provided as needed to help cure his condition. He will try his best for tomorrow’s concert.”
2PM performed many big hits at the concert including “Hands Up”, “10 Points out of 10″, “Again & Again”, and more.
30 August:
After their performance of “I’m Your Man” that night, 2PM headed over to their waiting room and had a small chat with three members of Perfume. Before the start of their conversation, however, Taecyeon realized that member Omoto Ayano would’ve felt uncomfortable in her seat due to her exposing shorts, and so he took off his jacket and placed it over her legs.
The members of Perfume were absolutely taken aback by Taecyeon’s act of kindness, and all Omoto Ayano could do was smile shyly and say, “How considerate of you”, and “Thank you”.

On August 29th, the photos were released through an online community board while he was in the middle of participating in a shoot for Dankook University as a campaign model.

8 July:
2PM’s Taecyeon had a little accident during a performance; however, the beastly idol came out of it with no problem.
On July 8th, during a concert sponsored by Gmarket, ‘Stay G Concert‘, held at the Olympic stadium, Ok Taecyeon landed on his face.
It was while performing an acrobatic move for their hit song, “10 points out of 10“, when Taecyeon failed to land his tumbling act, ultimately falling on his face.
Surprised, Taecyeon lifted himself up while placing his hand on the left side of his face and said, “I’m dizzy“. The members gathered around him to check his state. After a while, Wooyoung said, “He’s okay“, and carried on with the performance.
On this day, 2PM sang a total of 5 songs creating an insane atmosphere, as fans cheered loudly.
Korea’s superstars such as, TVXQ, and GD&TOP also attended, putting on a spectacular show.

On June 21st, the idol wrote on his me2day, “Hands Up’ starts now. Take in this embarrassing picture and please love ‘Hands Up’.“ He added, “I might get beaten by my members for uploading this.”
The screencap shows the 2PM members rocking out in a particular scene; unfortunately, they’re forever frozen with awkward expressions on their faces.

With their comeback just around the corner, 2PM’s Taecyeon released footage from a recording session that featured Wonder Girls‘ Sohee.
In the video, Sohee is found focusing intently on recording her bit. She tried saying, “Oppa, I can trust you, right?” multiple times. At the end of the video, you can hear a snippet of music which sounds like it could be from 2PM’s new album.

“Today’s crazy act! Who’s going to stop Oxford? Who is this lovely lady that is recording right now?“
“Oxford” is a word mixing Taecyeon’s last name, “Ok”, with the Korean romanization of ’spoiler’.

On March 31st, Taecyeon tweeted, “Oh ho! Eunjung is doing WGM. I hope you film it well and I wish for [your] success!“.
He also added, “When you have a housewarming party, be sure to make the food first and then call people!“. As most WGM fans know, Taecyeon and the rest of the 2PM members were invited to Nichkhunand Victoria’s housewarming party some time ago, but were disappointed to find that nothing was prepared for them and they even had to make their own food on the spot.

On February 25th, Taecyeon tweeted, “The ‘Dream High’ special concert has ended, but we’re still filming for the 16th episode” – revealing that the cast was still in the midst of shooting the final episode.
He also expressed his gratitude, pride, and affection for the ‘Dream High’ team. “To all the actors and staff who ran with us until now, you have all worked very, very hard. Even when people pointed fingers at us saying that we would fail because it’s a drama made up of idols, you kept filming diligently, and to the ‘Dream High’ team who stayed together through snow and rain, I love you!”

On February 7th, 2PM’s Taecyeon made a guest appearance on KBS 2TV’s morning program “Free Confidence.” During the recording, Taecyeon chose singer/actor Rain (Bi) as his role model.
When asked, “With whom do you want to most resemble?” Taecyeon replied, “Rain,” which drew much attention.
Taecyeon added, “Because he was a senior at the agency, I was able to see him often during my trainee days. Through watching Rain, I thought to myself, ‘If I could try as hard as him, then I will be able to do anything’.”
He showed his deep respect for Rain as he stated, “As a singer, he is the best in Korea and he’s also great at acting. Because of this, I want to be like him.”
Additionally, Taecyeon showed off his fluent English skills during the program, which also drew interest from the viewers.

Last December, it was revealed that Taecyeon gave up his American permanent residence visa so that he may be able to fulfill his mandatory civic duty as a Korean male citizen. Taecyeon planned to enlist actively, however, he soon faced some controversy when he received a level 4 on his physical examination, which limited him to public service duties.
On the show, Taecyeon explained,
“After seeing such a severe national event, I began to reflect upon myself. Though it is possible not to have a press conference, it came to be this way… Because my vision is incredibly bad, I asked. They said that if my vision doesn’t get better, I would be unable to be a soldier on active duty. I plan on going after getting my vision corrected.“Taecyeon was asked whether anyone tried to discourage him from his decision. To this he replied,
