Singer Kan Mi Youn has released part 2 of her ‘Feeling Project’, “The Day The Light Disappeared“.
This single is the follow-up to her ‘Feeling Project’ #1, “Good Love” which featured Seo Jun, and was released back in June.
Different from her song “Good Love” which sings of the fresh feelings that can only be felt by people starting a new love relationship, “The Day The Light Disappeared” sings of separating with a person you loved, and separating from the relationship you once had with that person.
The song was written by composer Goo Ja Kyung X Ho Seung, who through the use of acoustic instruments created a sad melody to express the emptiness of the lyrics. Kan Mi Youn’s sad voice pairs well with the song that will well deliver the desperate emotions to the listeners this winter season.
With the release of her new song, Kan Mi Youn is ready to kick off her new promotions.

Singer Kan Mi Youn recently revealed that she’s quite pleased about gaining some weight.
The star released her new mini-album, “Obsession“, on September 29th, and held her comeback performances on music shows last week. During an interview about her comeback, she was asked whether there were any changes in her figure.
In the past, Kan Mi Youn had talked about the stress she received from being too thin. She said,“Whenever someone greeted me, the first thing they commented on was my skinny body. It really stressed me out that people judged me on my body. It was not something I could fix right away.”
She continued, “People said if I ate right before I went to bed, I would gain weight, so I tried that for a while. But all I gained from doing that were health problems.”
Eventually, Kan Mi You gained 5 kg for her comeback and seems very satisfied with her healthy body mass. She stated, “I gained some weight in my stomach. I’m definitely happier than last year when I was promoting “Going Crazy“. If you see my live performances, you will be able to tell from my legs.”
Kan Mi Yeon’s new song, “Won’t Meet You” is a very powerful and charismatic song, so she wanted to prepare a stronger image to fit with it.

On May 31st, when asked about the dating rumor through a phone interview with a Korean news source, Kan Mi Youn replied, “It’s too funny.”
On May 30th, pictures of Kan Mi Youn and Hwanhee standing outside of a restaurant spread across the internet, catching the eyes of netizens. With the picture portraying a paparazzi feel, netizens began to wonder if the two people were actually dating.
Kan Mi Youn explained, “About a month ago, we met an agency’s president’s wedding. Because he was at the wedding, I greeted him. We are the same age and we used to hang out a lot in the past, so we are close friends.” She added, “I noticed that somebody took a picture of us, but I didn’t care much about it. However, I was dumbfounded that it blew up a month later. I think it’s funny.”
Meawhile, Kan Mi Youn stated, “I’ve been performing at many places because it’s the festival period. I think the release of my new album will be pushed back a bit.”

After teasing fans with her album jacket shots and her “Paparazzi” MV, Kan Mi Youn has finally returned to the music scene through her latest album, “WATCH“!
Fans can already tell that the singer has underground a drastic style makeover, which will undoubtedly be reflected in her work. The album was overseen by hitmaker Bang Shi Hyuk, who previously worked with Kan Mi Youn for “Crazy.
Aside from Bang Shi Hyuk, however, the album boasts contributive efforts from huge names like Yoon Eun Hye (album jacket styling), Eric (rap), 2PM’s Junsu (duet), SS501′s Kim Hyung Joon (music video appearance), and One Way (song arrangement).

Having released the teaser earlier this week, Kan Mi Youn has finally released the full music video for her comeback title track, “Paparazzi.”
With a feature by Shinhwa’s Eric, the music video also stars SS501’s Kim Hyung Joon, who plays a top star that is being preyed on by a crazy fangirl, played by Kan Mi Youn.

Interestingly enough, it’s been discovered that Kan Mi Youn was styled by her former Baby V.O.X. teammate, Yoon Eun Hye, for the album jacket photoshoot.
Displaying their unwavering friendship, the two joined forces as an artist and a director. They finished the album jacket photoshoot like any other professional, with the results looking as though they were from a fashion editorial.

2PM’s Junsu would be guest-featuring on Kan Mi Youn’s latest single, ‘Sunshine‘. Though the single is scheduled to hit stores on February 17th, the full music video has been released today.
‘Sunshine’ is a special re-arrangement of a track that Junsu composed four years ago; he gave Kang Mi Youn the track as a gift in support of her comeback.
