Cyworld Festival

3 April:On April 2nd, SK Communications celebrated ‘Cyworld Day’ by holding a “Cyworld Festival” with a 50,000 member audience at the Children’s Grand Park.

Done under the theme of three key words – ‘Feel’, ‘Play’, and ‘Listen’ – the festival was divided into two different zones.

In “Starlight,” which was held at night,  fans enjoyed performances by IU, 2PM, UV, Leessang, Supreme Team and eight other teams.  For “Daylight,” which was held during the day, indie artists like Yozo, Zitten, Windy City, Attic Moonlight, Go Go Boys and others ushered in the spring with fresh performances.

The TF of SK Communication’s marketing team, Kim Young Mok, commented, “We’ll be working on the Cyworld Festival as our main project all year long.  This July, we’ll be creating a new theme fit for the summer season to provide a variety of cultural events for our members.”

Where would you be able to see soloist IU, idol group 2PM, and rock band UV all on one stage? SK Communications has invited all music lovers to join them on April 2nd as they host the ”Cyworld Festival” at Seoul Children’s Grand Park!

Loads of interest is being garnered in the event, as it was revealed that it would host a ‘Daylight stage’ and a‘Moonlight stage’, which will feature both indie bands and K-Pop artists alike. From 1:00PM until about 4:00PM, the ‘Daylight stage’ will have performances by 8 different teams: Windy City, Zitten, Yozoh, Dalmoon, and others. Afterwards, starting from 7:00PM, the ‘Moonlight stage’ will have performances by UV(comedian Yoo Sae Yoon’s band), IU, 2PM, Leesang, Supreme Team, and SISTAR.

Although anybody is welcome to attend the “Cyworld Festival”, individuals must fill out an entry to attend the‘Midnight stage.’ Until March 29th, interested individuals can log onto Cyworld C-log’s special festival page and leave a comment expressing their wish to attend the festival. From there, 4,000 participants will be invited to the festival.
