Wonder Girls‘ Hyelim revealed an ethereal look for her pictorial with InStyle magazine.
In this month’s issue, various artists from JYP Entertainment collaborated with fashion designers to bring out visionary concepts. Hyelim was given the assignment to embody ‘mesmerizing and seductive light’, and she did it in spades.
The idol wore a flowy, goddess-like dress with a gold belt to accentuate her curves. The gauze material of the skirt gave Hyelim an airy look, and the bright red socks prevented a ‘washed-out’ effect.
To really hammer home the ‘mesmerizing and seductive’ aspect, Hyelim conveyed two different qualities with her pose: a strong gaze and straight upper posture gave off a sense of strength, while her crossed ankles seemed almost girlish.
An associate at the photoshoot commented, “It was important for the artists to cooperate since they were working with Korea’s representative designers. But the photoshoot went very smoothly as they treated everyone else with respect and consideration.”
