With a laugh, the girls stated, “We’ll finally be able to spend Chuseok with our family. It’s the first major holiday that we’re celebrating since our debut. We’re planning to eat delicious food with our family and relatives, and we’re already so excited at the thought of it.”
Yejin continued, “We debuted in April, but have been dorming together for a while now. We haven’t had a lot of time during any of the holidays to see our families, but recently received permission for a vacation. We’re going home for the first time in six to seven months! We moved houses between then, so I want to hurry up and see our new place (laughter).” Yejin also added, “I grew up in Canada, so I never had songpyun before, but I’m going to eat a lot of it this time.”
Yoojin stated, “We rehearsed a lot last year during Chuseok. We were up by nine and were back home around 12 after rehearsals and exercise. I remember we also had to stay behind to clean up our training room when it rained all night and the room flooded.”
Brave Girls concluded, “Until we win on a music program, we’re not allowed to have internet, TV, or cell phones. We wanted this rule ourselves. We hope that we’ll be able to meet our fans on a variety of stages and get our name out there more.”

The fine ladies of Brave Girls are back with the release of “Back To Da Future“. Along with this release, the MV for the title track “Easily” featuring Korean reggae artist Skull was also revealed.
Hit producer Brave Brothers paid homage to senior vocalist Kim Gun Mo by fitting the Brave Girls’ comeback song into the reggae mold of Kim Gun Mo’s hit track, “Excuse“.
Check out the MV below and make sure to support the group by purchasing their music!
The Brave Girls recently sat down for an interview with E News 24, and were straightforward with their answer when asked about their debut: “We had a weak debut, but that played to our benefit.”
The girls debuted back in April with an R&B track titled, “Do You Know“. Prior to their emergence on stage, they received countless headlines thanks to their backing from one of Korea’s hottest producers,Brave Brothers. Unfortunately, the group didn’t live up to the high expectations set by many.
Eun Young began, “When we first began our promotions for ‘Do You Know’, we were just excited. Now, we’re determined to do really well.” Seo Ah added, “We’re lucky that we received another chance to recover from our debut. It would’ve been nice to have done well from the start, but I think it’s also fun to slowly work our way up.”
Their comeback track is called “Easily“, a reggae-esque song that was composed, written, and arranged entirely by Brave Brothers with a featuring by reggae artist Skull. “It’s a fun, upbeat song but the lyrics are sad. It’s a song about hating a boyfriend that easily hurts you. Please enjoy the mismatched feel of it.”
Their point choreography this time lies in moves where they look like they’re riding bikes and lightly shoving each other to the lyrics. The girls said, “We’re glad to be able to show off something that fits better for our age. Through this song, we hope that we’re able to get our names and faces out there.”
Brave Girls revealed that when they first debuted, they were busy just running from schedule to schedule. Now, they’re ready to really establish their identity as singers. Seo Ah explained, “It’s time to slowly show what kind of singers we are. We want to be regarded as singers who present good songs, but still know how to have fun and enjoy themselves. We want to always be with the public.”
Yoojin stated, “During ‘Do You Know’, we were too caught up in just dancing and singing properly, but now, we’re able to pay attention to the entire stage as a whole. Hopefully, we can show a more professional side to ourselves.”
Seo Ah continued, “During our debut, we were snared into a controversy for being too sexually suggestive. It wasn’t anything we intended, so we were quite upset whenever we were regarded in such a light, but still, we were thankful for the interest. We promise to work harder.”
They’re now up against dozens of girl groups and have a fierce competition ahead of them. “Since we’re rookies, we share waiting rooms with other rookie girl groups. We think of them as friendly competition and hope that all of the rookie girl groups do well.”
When asked about any overseas advancement opportunities, they said, “Even though we’re rookies, international fans have taken an interest in us. We will work hard so that we catch more of their attention.”
Concluding the interview, the girls talked about another track off their album, “When It Rains“. “It’s Eun Young’s solo track and features her powerful vocals, so please take a listen to it. It’s such a waste to be included as a side track; we hope it will be used on an OST.”

The Brave Girls recently took part in an interview with E News 24 as they prepared for their official comeback. What caught the attention of reporters was not the news of their comeback, however, but the bruises that covered their bodies.
As if the bruises weren’t enough, member Yejin appeared with compression bandages all over her leg, leading reporters to ask if perhaps they were covering marks of plastic surgery.
“Not at all,” the girls said, waving their hands in denial.
For the MV for their reggae-style track, “Easily“, the girls had to learn how to ride pixie bikes. Since the bikes don’t possess brakes, the members fell over countless times, thus sustaining many bruises.
Eun Young revealed, “Riding bikes is a great form of exercise. It was a lot of fun so I tried to ride it more, but also got hurt a lot in return.”
Speaking about their actual music video, the girls shared with a laugh, “We filmed it at Sky Park right after it had rained and when it was scorching hot. We suffered a lot but it feels great to see that the scenes all look nice.”
Brave Girls will release their comeback album on July 29th.

21 April:On April 20th, rookie girl group Brave Girls released a rehearsal video for the choreography of their debut track, “Do You Know“.
Although they were wearing comfortable attire, netizens claimed that they could feel the sexiness of their performance thanks to their beautiful long legs and sophisticated choreography.
Fans also got a better glimpse of the ballet bar that’s been utilized in their performances these past few weeks. Check it out below!
Brave Brothers has put his name on the line for his own girl group, Brave Girls. Despite debuting with a flood of other girl group debuts and comebacks, Brave Girls outshined most just for being under the name Brave Brothers alone.
That doesn’t mean the girls don’t have their own experience to back them up though. From Miss Korea titles to extensive dancing and vocal training, the girls are comfortable and confident with their skills.
That begs the question: what sets them apart from the other April girl groups? CHI CHI, Rania, 4minute, Rainbow, and others have all set out this month to pave their own way, so what’s their secret to standing out?
The girls replied, “Since we’re produced by Brave Brothers, people probably expected us to come out with a dance track. We feel like our title track, ‘Do You Know’, made a surprise attack. Our song also has a very androgynous charm that appeals to both girls and boys, so we feel like we have a fair chance at capturing the hearts of female fans.”
Despite their confidence, the girls were rookies at heart, which reportedly showed in the way they blushed at some questions and the hint of nervousness in their voices.
On their debut stage for “Music Bank“, the girls were met with a live accident that many probably had no idea about thanks to the way the girls professionally handled it. Due to a staff member’s mistake, one of their recording devices faltered.
They explained, “We were surprised, but thankfully it didn’t show on our faces. Since it was our debut stage, we thought we’d all be really nervous but it was a lot more fun once we actually got on it. The moment of stepping onto something you waited all your life for.. it can’t be described in words. Our hearts just swelled up.”
When asked whether they were ready to compete against the flood of other girl groups, they replied, “We hope that it’s just friendly competition and that we can all help each other out so that we all do well. Having gone through trainee life and finally standing on stage now, we realize how hard it is to truly become a singer. We all worked hard, and it’s not only the win that is remembered, so I hope that we can all achieve great results together.”
The girls are still competing for the rookie award this year. It will definitely be a heated one with the massive influx of other debuts.
The members stated, “The competition will be fierce because of so many debuts, but it’s an award that you can only win once in your life time. We really want to earn it because it’ll be an award that both gets our name known and acknowledges us for who we are.”
In short, the girls aren’t aiming for the physical trophy itself, but everything it entails. What they’re aiming for isn’t a win, but to be recognized as musicians.
They continued, “Now that our promotions have officially begun, we’re going to be running without rest, but we still want to study hard and participate directly in the production of our music. Our goal is to have our fans listen to music that was created strictly by Brave Girls and to have them watch us grow into musicians.”
Do they feel the pressure of the Brave Brothers label? The girls nodded their heads immediately.
Brave Girls concluded, “It was because of the pressure that we were able to focus more on our training. Although it’s pressuring to be known as Brave Brothers’ group, it’s also a big honor.”

Prior to their debut, the girls headlined countless amount of times for not only being produced by Brave Brothers (the man behind the success of Big Bang, Son Dambi, After School, and SISTAR), but for the members’ individual experience in music, dance, and visuals.
Their first single includes their title track, “Do You Know,” along with their second title track, “So Sexy“. Though everyone expected them to shoulder Brave Brothers’ synthetic sound, ”Do You Know” is actually a slow-tempo R&B track with a gospel style arrangement.
