Oh Won Bin

Singer and former FT Island member Oh Won Bin recently completed his nation-wide Japanese tour quite successfully.

Last March, Oh Won Bin released his mini-album ‘C’mon Girl‘ in Japan and quickly gained popularity for his indie debut. Following his Japanese debut success, the artist went on tour in Japan on June 21st and held concerts in Nagoya, Osaka, and Tokyo. His tour was titled, ‘WONBIN 2nd MINI ALBUM RELEASE LIVE TOUR~ good for you~‘.

In addition to kicking off his tour on the 21st, Oh Won Bin released his second mini-album entitled ‘good for you‘. While he performed his hit songs at the concerts, he also performed a couple songs from the movie ‘August Rush‘ including “Falling Slowly” and “This Time“.

The singer showed his sincerity to his fans, stating, “Since I only have two albums out, I don’t have many songs to perform live. When I return to Korea, I will work hard to show you fans a new image… I ask that you keep supporting me.”

Meanwhile, Oh Won Bin recently appeared on MBC TV’s drama, ‘Heartstrings‘ alongside Jung Yong Hwa and Kang Min Hyuk as a guitarist.

Now the music video for “C’mon Girl”, which is off his debut Japanese mini album, has been revealed!

Oh Wonbin 1st Japanese mini album release and live showcase date have been confirmed. The CD release for “C’mon Girl” is slated for March 14th with a total of 4 tracks (1 new song, & 3 overseas song – unlisted) + bonus Instrumental + DVD w/ PV (MV).
The live showcase, “WONBIN 1st mini album release showcase” is a day before the mini album release on March 13th at the Shinjuku BLAZE.

Nearly two years ago, Oh Wonbin, guitarist and sub vocalist for F.T. Island suddenly left the group to the shock of many Primadonna’s. FNC Music stated that he left due to “differences in music” to die down the rumors of friction between him and some members in the group.
Over this lengthy period he’s been concentrating on his studies and recently returned to the K-pop music scene with ‘I love you and I love you’ featuring Brown Eyed Girls member Miryo this past November. Now, he has his eyes set for the Japanese market.
