Super Junior‘s sub-unit Donghae & Eunhyuk who have just released “Oppa Has Arrived” recently guest-featured on Shindong‘s radio program to make a midnight snack for their overseas fans.
On the 21st, Donghae and Eunhyuk stopped by MBC Radio ‘Shindong’s ShimshimTapa‘ along with leader Leeteuk who without prior notice tagged along with their ‘manager Park Jungsoo‘. The boys performed live performances and delighted listeners with their conversations.
The boys who are receiving much love and support from fans all over the world created a special event for their fans overseas. They began making a midnight snack for their fans in the middle of their live radio broadcast and decided to personally feed it to their fans.

It has been revealed that Super Junior’s Shindong and KARA’s Gyuri have shared ‘cheering for the rival’ feelings for each other while DJ-ing together.
Currently, Shindong and Gyuri are DJ’s for MBC FM’s ‘Shim Shim Ta Pa‘ Radio program . Both of their respective groups are also currently battling it out for the number one spot on music programs. On a recent radio airing, the two DJ’s had a fun friendly bet with each other. They promised each other that whichever team wins the number one spot, the winner will have to sincerely congratulate the other and also prepare a congratulatory performance.
While winning on the September 16th edition of KBS‘s Music Bank, KARA’s youngest member Ji Young shouted. “Shindong oppa, you are good looking!” cheering on Super Junior . If Super Juniorplaces first, Shindong is planning to take things a step further and recruit 2 Super Junior members and dance to KARA’s new title song, ‘Step’.
Meanwhile, KARA’s ‘Step’ has reached first place with their comeback stages on Mnet and KBS .

KARA’s charismatic leader, Park Gyuri, recently turned into cartoon character Pororo.
On the official Twitter account of MBC FM’s “Shindong, Park Gyuri’s Shim Shim Ta Pa“, a picture of Gyuri was uploaded with the descripton, “Yes, she is… Pororo. Our Gyul. Please call her President Gyul from now on.”
In the picture, Gyuri is seen wearing a handmade pair of glasses and a black helmet, resembling the real Pororo.
Pororo is a popular cartoon character in Korea, and even has the nickname of ‘President Po’ for being the ‘president’ of all kids, young and old.
Netizens commented, “Gyuri Pororo is the best. She’s really cute”, “Did you make the glasses out of cookies?”, and “Gyuri DJ fell for Pororo’s charms as well.”

On June 3rd, Block B and Rania were specials guest for a full hour show on Shindong and Gyuri’s radio program, MBC’s “Shimshimtapa.”
The two groups kicked off with a collaboration cover of “Maria” from the movie “200 Pound Beauty.” After a brief introduction of the members, they paired up into couple teams (decided by a draw of fruits) for a series of music-related games to determine the final best couple.
Live performances included Rania’s title track, “Dr. Feel Good“, and “Stand Up For Love.” Block B performed “Wanna B” and “Is It Only Me?”
In the end, the best couple was leader Zico and Di, who won the opportunity to take a picture with hosts Shindong and Gyuri.

Recently, the website of MBC Radio’s “Shindong & Park Gyuri’s Shim Shim Tapa” uploaded a picture in their photo room section of KARA’s leader, Park Gyuri making a comical transformation into Mona Lisa, or ‘Mona Gyuri’.
In the picture, Gyuri is seen elegantly posing with slightly curled, newly colored brown hair just like the portrait picture, and purposely covering her eyebrows with nude-colored tape.
Netizens commented, “Ah… I laughed for ages”, “Park Gyuri is pretty even when she hides her eyebrows”, “How can she look so serious”, and “She’s still pretty even when it’s a comical photo.”

KARA’s Gyuri revealed her feelings after returning as a radio DJ in 2 months.
The leader returned as host on MBC Radio’s ‘Shindong and Park Gyuri’s Shim Shim Ta Pa‘ on March 21st. She stopped appearing on the radio show for about 2 months when KARA members filed petitions against their agency back on January 19th.
On the broadcast, Gyuri stated, “I want to say ‘thank you’ to the listeners who’ve waited two months for me. Truthfully there are many ways people can give up or get listless, but because of my earnest desire for my dream and for the people who love me, I was able to hold off a hundred thousand hard things because of these two things“.
She added, “I’m also thankful for the radio staff who trusted me and waited [for my return]. I’ll work much harder and DJ in a more brighter way than before“.
17 Maret: KARA’s leader Park Gyuri will return to MBC Radio’s ‘Shim Shim Ta Pa‘ on March 21st.
According to a radio staff member on March 17th, the idol will reclaim her position as a DJ after a 2-month hiatus. Her last broadcast was done on January 19th.
Gyuri stopped promotions in Korea after three KARA members voiced their issues about their contract withDSP Media. She stopped almost all her activities except for attending her animation movie premiere and filming for KARA’s Japanese drama, “URAKARA“.
Gyuri stated, “I really wanted to return quickly. I’m really thankful for the listeners and the program staff who waited a long time for me. Because my hiatus was long, I’ll work much harder than before.”
With Goo Hara already confirmed for an acting role, attention is now being focused on the other KARA members to see if they will renew their Korean activities once again.
